Both are talented and versatile and will be nice to have for depth purposes during this set of games.Nmecha was rumored to be under consideration, but we did not think it was quite his time just yet.Predicted: Defense (8)Actual: Defense (8)Where we hit:Niklas Sule, Bayern MunichAntonio Rudiger, ChelseaMatthias Ginter, Borussia MönchengladbachJonas Hofmann, Borussia MönchengladbachRidle Baku, WolfsburgThilo Kehrer, Paris Saint-GermainNico Schlotterbeck, SC FreiburgDavid Raum, HoffenheimWhere we missed:Christian Günter, SC FreiburgSynopsisBaku seems to have rattled Flick a bit as this is the second consecutive break he was not selected. Granted, he was not great when Flick called him up, but it might be the subsequent controversy that emerged between Flick and Wolfsburg that did the most damage. Günter will make his return instead of Baku. We didn’t factor Günter into the running for this round of games, but he has done enough to force his way back (especially with all of the injuries).Predicted: Goalkeepers (3)Actual: Goalkeepers (4)Where we hit:Manuel Neuer, Bayern MunichMarc-Andre ter Stegen, FC BarcelonaBernd Leno, Arsenal FCWhere we missed:Kevin…

Germany v Liechtenstein - 2022 FIFA World Cup QualifierPhoto by Alex Grimm/Getty ImagesDespite not having an optimal roster, Germany pulled through easily.Germany wasted no time in taking advantage of an early red card on Liechtenstein and cruised to a 9-0 victory despite have a makeshift line-up.Things went so well that Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka even survived a flying kick to the face relatively unscathed. Hansi Flick’s boys got creative and were looking for new and inventive ways to score, while Liechtenstein was just out there trying to absorb the onslaught and put on a brave face.
