Liga Photo by Mario Hommes/DeFodi Images via Getty ImagesLeon Dajaku had a busy day offensively in Austria.Bayern Munich II played a 120-minute friendly and picked up a 3-2 victory with Fiete Arp being one of the stars of the contest per FCBayern.com.First, Arp picked up an assist on a goal by Leon Dajaku in the 10th minute. Just 21 minutes later, Tiago Dantas found Dajaku with a terrific pass, which the 19-year-old forward sent over to Arp for a 2-0 Bayern Munich II lead at the 31-minute mark. After FC Liefering fought back to tie the game at 2-2 in the 105th minute, Christopher Scott, who typically played for Bayern Munich’s U-19 squad, delivered the game-winner in the 112th minute. Per Bayern Munich’s website, Scott “dribbled a good 20 meters through the opposing defense and scored with a wonderful shot.”Interestingly, Marc Roca started and played 60 minutes for Bayern Munich II as well today, which was a very curious move. Regardless, Bayern Munich II’s next 3.Liga game will be next Sunday at 1PM (local time) against VfB Lübeck.Testspiel-Sieg für die #FCBAmateure!#Roca von Anfang an, #Dajaku und #Arp treffen, Traumtor von #Scott Alle Infos im Spielbericht!

Bayern Muenchen II v TSV 1860 Muenchen - 3. LigaPhoto by Roland Krivec/DeFodi Images via Getty ImagesFollowing the big derby loss to 1860 Munich at the weekend, Bayern Munich bounced back with a big 2-0 win over SV Meppen.Bayern Munich II won their fifth match of the season on Tuesday in a 2-0 victory over SV Meppen. It was a great way to bounce back following the weekend loss in the Munich Derby to 1860.After a first half in which Bayern II saw the better opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net, things turned in their favor in the second half. Two minutes after coming on as a substitute, Nicolas Kühn bagged the first goal of the game in the 68th minute on an assist from Christopher Scott. Then, in the 75th minute, Lenn Jastremski fed a great cross into Scott who scored Bayern II’s second goal of the game to put Bayern over the top for the win and all three points.Überragende Vorlage von #Jastremski, der vor dem Tor auf #Scott querlegt. pic.twitter.com/DGwxCFuqqf— FC Bayern Campus (@FCBjuniorteam) January 12, 2021Bayern XI: Hoffmann - Stanisic, Lawrence, Feldhahn, Richards, Vita (46. Lungwitz) - Stiller, Zaiser (66. Kühn), Scott, Kern (84. Rochelt) - JastremskiThe result bounces Bayern up into 13th place in the table on 20 points. The Bavarians are two points clear of the relegation zone, but it’s pretty hard to fully judge this since teams have played different numbers of games due to COVID postponements. At the weekend, Bayern II will travel to face Hallescher in the “final match of the first half of the season”. On January 22, Bayern II will face Türkgücü München to truly kick off the second half of the season.JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

@FCBayernEN: RT @Plettigoal: Update #Scott: That’s the most likely scenario! Bayern will pull the one-year option and sell him. They expect between €500k - €1m and could install a buy-back clause. Bayern often do that with young players (Dayaku, Yeong). @SkySportsNews https://ift.tt/48DSBt2

Being back to normal feels good, eh?<a href="https://www.abendzeitung-muenchen.de/sport/fcbayern/transfer-news-zum-fc-bayern-barca-boss-laporta-naehrt-lewandowski-geruechte-art-544463">Laporta enjoying Lewy, Salah rumors (Abendzeitung)</a><a href="https://www.managingmadrid.com">Real Madrid</a> president Joan Laporta seems to be relishing the fact that his club has been linked to players like <a href="https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com">Bayern Munich</a>’s Robert Lewandowski and <a href="https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/">Liverpool</a>’s Mo Salah:A radio interview that caused a stir: club president Joan Laporta spoke late Monday evening on “RAC1”, among other things, about possible star transfers. While Erling Haaland (<a href="https://www.fearthewall.com">Borussia Dortmund</a>) apparently lacks pure enthusiasm for Barça, things are probably different with Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski and Mo Salah (<a href="https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com">Liverpool FC</a>).Laporta: “They are great players. All good footballers want to come to Barça. I’m not going to go into detail. I don’t want to make things more difficult.” He fueled the rumors reported by the daily “Sport” that Lewandowski wanted to move to Catalonia. In conversation: a four-year contract, a transfer volume of around 60 million euros.<a href="https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/christopher-scott-celtic-transfer-fee-26590550">Bayern to exercise option on Scott, still might sell (Daily Record)</a>Bayern Munich prospect Christopher Scott has been linked to a move to Celtic or Brentford on a free transfer, but the Bavarians have an ace up their sleeve.Bayern Munich will trigger their option to extend Scott’s deal, but will still be ready to sell him this summer if the right offer comes in. Essentially, Bayern Munich is able to prevent losing Scott via a free transfer with this move:Celtic could land Christopher Scott for as little as £250,000 if they win the race for “one of the biggest talents in Germany”.Record Sport can reveal that Bayern Munich WILL trigger the one-year option they have on his current contract, which ends in May, to ensure they don’t lose the teenager star for free. But the Bundesliga giants are happy to let the attacking midfielder leave the Allianz Arena after that as the Germany Under-19 international searches for first team football.A source close to the negotiations told Record Sport: “Bayern Munich has the option of extending Christopher’s contract by one more year and this is one-sided on the club’s part. Bayern Munich won’t let him go for free because he’s one of the biggest talents in Germany and it would cost around €300,000 to €400,000 for him. It’s about finding the best solution for a young player. The option for his contract is at the end of May and that will be taken up by Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich at the moment aren’t well known for bringing players into the first team and Christopher is looking for a new challenge. It’s clear that Glasgow Celtic would be a massive option for him and they have been in talks but the English Premier League is also an option for someone who is a massive talent. Celtic are serious contenders because they are a massive club and they are very serious about trying to sign him.”Sky’s Florian Plettenberg thinks Bayern Munich could ask as much as €1 million for Scott:Update <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Scott?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Scott</a>: That’s the most likely scenario!
