He used to sit at the door (of the husainiyeh). In respect of the mourners who used to enter, he would stand up. A young man, who was mentally challenged, entered, wearing torn shoes and old clothes. In front of him too, Haj Qasem stood up. Greeted him with salaam and welcomed him. Thereafter, respectfully hugged him, kissed his face and sat him down in a corner.

Hajj Qasem invited us to the mourning ceremony of his village. We thought it would be a grand ceremony, with special formalities and provisions. Twenty people were sitting around each other at his father's house. One religious scholar arrived, offered congregational prayers, recited a few minutes of elegy and left. He said, "We organise a very simple mourning ceremony in the village, just like the olden times". Sometimes, he would come from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, just to attend these simple gatherings.

Memory of Martyr Naser Ali Ebadi:
A martyr who handed over the flag of Ziyarat e Arbaeen to his friend.
Martyr Naser Ali Ebadi used to carry a flag with him every year while walking from the South of Iraq towards Karbala for Ziyarat of Arbaeen. He used to love this flag so much that he used to travel all the way with the flag in his hands, every year.
When he went to fight against the Daesh, he carried the flag with him on the war front. And while battling against the enemies he used to keep it tied at his back. He reminded himself and said that even this year we both will go towards Karbala for the Ziyarat of Arbaeen.
When a bullet hits him during the war, he wiped his blood on the flag and said to it that unfortunately this year I won't be able to join you towards Karbala for Ziayarat of Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (as), convey my Salam to Imam (as). And speak to him about the stories of our bravery and courage.
After this he handed over his flag to his friend.....
