Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) signed a MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on 1 July 2019 for CO2 based Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) by injecting CO2 captured from IOCL’s Koyali refinery. The MOU eyes to reduce India’s carbon emission targets as set forth in COP21, while enhancing production from domestic fields.

New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) officer C.N. Rao was awarded the Shaurya Chakra posthumously Thursday for avertinga major disaster after a gas leak in the ONGC’s processing plant in Uran near Mumbai last year. He lost his life in the process along with three CISF personnel.

CM announced that Cauvery Delta would be declared as protected agriculture zone. Just a few weeks after the outbreak of the virus, daily Chinese oil demand is already down 20 percent because of dwindling air travel, road transportation and manufacturing. Since China consumes 13 of every 100 barrels of oil the world produces, every oil company is being hit to some extent.
