2019年9月28日是雨傘運動五周年。有網民發起「連儂革命」，將反修例文宣由維園貼到政府總部外的「元祖連儂牆」。

同晚，民陣在金鐘添馬公園舉行集會，呼應2014年雨傘運動清場時的口號「We will be back」。夏慤道上出現「We are back」字樣的塗鴉。有參與者走出夏慤道，之後警方以水炮車和催淚彈作驅散。
