Ruckers in Chicago have been hard at work for the GORUCK Urban Ops, the physical challenge immediately preceding the XM Anomaly.
First reports from the American city indicate that the Enlightened have won 3 challenges and the Resistance won 2, meaning that the score for this event is:
ENL 4.2 - 2.8 RES
If confirmed, this would bring the Buried Memories series score to:
ENL 327.0 - 327.6 RES
In this case, the margin would now be as narrow as ever with only 0.6 points separating the two Factions! We are eager to see how the next hours will play out and which team will lead at the end of this Anomaly Weekend!
To know this, though, we are going to have to wait a couple more hours: the Buried Memories XM Anomaly in Chicago will start at 14:00 local and 19:00 UTC.

From our dear friend, Agent @MrChics, we received some pictures of the GORUCK Urban Ops in Chicago, USA!
The two Factions battled in the sunny Illinoisan city, showing their strength and athleticism.
In this collage we can see the champions of Enlightened and Resistance giving proof of their endurance, the two teams facing off ahead of a challenge, Cadre Barbarossa who hosted the event and, last but not least, Agent @MrChics in a selfie with the Agents!
We hope everyone had fun today!

Niantic has released Update 2.142.1 into the App Stores!
The release notes are sparse, only mentioning that the warning message Agents receive has been updated so that it only shows to Agents that recently signed into Ingress using a device that does not pass the Google Play Integrity Test.
Speaking of, Niantic has announced that the new integrity requirements will be in effect starting "no sooner than May 27th", which was yesterday. It is therefore possible that Niantic could activate the new requirements at any minute. If you have an unsupported device and want to continue playing Ingress we urge you to acquire a supported device as soon as possible.
Read about the new requirements here and check if you're affected: https://t.me/IUENG/6664

Just like last year, June 14th is World Blood Donor Day! It is once again the perfect time to roll up your sleeve and donate some of that red gold in your body.
Need a little incentive? The folks of the #RedFaction are sending out a special embroidered patch for giving blood! Simply take a photo of yourself with your Ingress agent IGN somewhere in the picture while 'raising a sleeve' (donating a pint of the dark red stuff). Post the picture to Social Media and fill out the form on the website! There is no time limit for receiving the patch, donating blood does not have to be done on June 14th specifically and can instead be done all year round!
Can't donate blood? Agent @CtrlAltFck has created and shared files for a mission banner! You can use these to create a new banner to support the community as well.
