🔺 Islam Calls for Optimism and Trust

Islam commands its followers to trust each other, and to assume that another’s intentions are good. Therefore, it is not permitted for anyone to judge a Muslim’s actions as corrupt without proper evidence for such a judgment.

Imam ‘Alī (AS) said: “Expect good from your brothers, unless something happen that makes you rule otherwise; and do not assume a word of his is evil when there is still the possibility of it being good”. “Trust rescues him who indulged in sin.”

Imam Ṣādiq (AS) considered good expectation to be one of the Muslim’s rights on each other: “Among the rights of a believer to another believer, is not to doubt him.”

🔺 Sociability in Islam

The opposite of the vice of monasticism is the virtue of sociability, hospitality and friendliness, which is conductive to expansion of warm, brotherly relations throughout the community. This virtue is highly recommended by Islam.
“And Allah is the One Who caused unity between the hearts of the believers [who suffered from discord And dispute before]; and had you [O Messenger] spent all that is on the earth you could not have caused that unity between their hearts, but Allah caused unity between them; verily, Allah is the Source-Wisdom Supreme power.” (8:62-63)
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H. & H.H.) said: “Allah’s Hand is over the head of congregation, when one of them separates from the crowd (and turns to isolation), Satan will grab him, as the wolf grabs the separated sheep from the flock. 
“It is not permissible for any Muslim to stay away (and huff) from his Muslim brother for more than three days, and he who goes forward in peace will enter Paradise.”
“Tolerating misfortunes for an hour, among Muslims, is better than forty years of worship, in isolation.”

💠 Imam Reza (as)‏ said,

لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَدَعَ الطِّيبَ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ عَلَيْهِ فَيَوْمٌ وَ يَوْمٌ لَا، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ فَفِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ وَ لَا يَدَعْ ذَلِكَ.
Man should not leave one day without perfuming himself, and if he is not able to do that, then he should perfume himself every other day, and if he cannot do that, then he should do so every Friday without fail.
