Krishnankoil Venkadachalam Mahadevan (14 March 1918 – 21 June 2001) was an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, and musician known for his works in Tamil, Telugu,Malayalam, and Kannada films.

He was also conferred the title of "Thirai Isai Thilagam" (Pride of Cine Music Directors) in Tamil cinema.

He got National Film Award for Best Music Direction (1967) for Kandan Karunai (first recipient of the award)

He also got Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director (1969) for Adimai Penn

George Eastman (July 12, 1854 – March 14, 1932) was an American entrepreneur who founded the Eastman Kodak Company and helped to bring the photographic use of roll film into the mainstream.

In his final two years, Eastman was in intense pain caused by a disorder affecting his spine.

On March 14, 1932, he shot himself in the heart, leaving a note which read, "To my friends: my work is done. Why wait?

வெற்றி, தோல்வி என்பவை அவரவர் மனப்பான்மை

வெற்றி பெற முயற்சி செய்'' (Motivate to win) என்ற நூலின் ஆசிரியர் ரிச்சர்டு டென்னி

"நொண்டிச்சமாதானங்களைத் தவிர்த்துத் தீவிர முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொள். வெற்றி நிச்சயம்' என்கிறார். அவர் மேலும் தமது நூலில் வெற்றியாளனின் மனோபாவமும், தோல்வியாளரின் அவநம்பிக்கைச் சிந்தனைகளும் பின்வரும் குறிப்பிட்ட வகைகளில் வேறுபடுகின்றன என்கிறார்.

1. வெற்றி பெற்றவன் தவறு செய்தால், ""நான் தவறு செய்தேன்'' என்றான். தோல்வியாளன் "" அது என் பிழை அல்ல'' என்கிறான்.

2. வெற்றியாளன் கடுமையாக உழைக்கிறான். நிறைய நேரமும் இருக்கிறது. தோல்வியாளன் எப்போதும் தான் பிசியாக இருப்பதாகச் சொல்லி தோல்வி காண்கிறான்.

3. வெற்றியாளன் பிரச்னையின் நடுவில் மத்தியில் செல்கிறான். தோல்வியாளன் நகராமல் பிரச்னையைச் சுற்றி
நின்று கொண்டிருக்கிறான்.

4. வெற்றியாளன் தவறு நேர்ந்ததற்கு வருந்துகிறான். தவறைத் தவிர்க்கிறான். தோல்வியாளன் தவற்றுக்கு "சாரி சொல்கிறான். ஆனால் மீண்டும் அதே தவறைச் செய்கிறான்.

5. எது குறித்துப் போராட வேண்டும். எந்த விஷயத்தில் சமாதானம் செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று அறிந்தவன் வெற்றியாளன். சமாதானம் செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டிய இடத்தில் சண்டையும், சண்டை செய்ய வேண்டிய விஷயத்தில் ஒதுங்கி நின்று இழப்பும் ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்வது தோல்வியாளனன் வழக்கம்.
ஒவ்வொரு நாள் வாழ்க்கையும் போராட்டம்தான் - சரியான விஷயங்களுக்குக்காகப் போராடுவதும், அற்ப விஷயங்களில் நேரத்தை வீணாக்காமல் இருப்பதும் முக்கியம்.
