Job Description:
Managing Frontier’s 24 x 7 surveillance of monitoring center; Service alarm acknowledgement and resolution; providing Tier II support on all network elements; Major Service Interruption, notifications and updates; support to Frontier field technicians; and completing detailed reviews for major network outages. The position has accountability for operating budgets associated with the Network Operations Center.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in telecommunications leadership/management role and with specific knowledge managing large to Service Provider’s network operations centers. Technical knowledge of Network Routing & switching, VoIP, System administration, Wireless Mobile Cell Sites and transmission operation, Network operations, as well as experience in developing operational metrics.
Training background and manpower experience. The candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of network management tools and operating systems required.
