Mission: • Responsible for the establishment and operation of the appropriate transmission infrastructure, in line with the defined transmission topology plan and capabilities of technology• Establish the appropriate procedures to deliver the required Infrastructure in time and at the required level of service, coordinating the activities across regions Role Complexity • Interface with providers of TX infrastructure capacity• Communicates actively throughout Regional Transmission group Task Complexity:• Delivery of physical connectivity according to topology and plan• Ensure adherence to appropriate build specification for all microwave and fiber deployments in the network• Implementation of appropriate operational procedure for all fiber deployments• Ensure highly available transmission routes• Monitor the process of building additional capacity for transmission Infrastructure using appropriate technologies (fiber, microwave) or leased facilities.• Monitor and guide the implementation programs of turnkey providers based on assigned projects for the transmission infrastructure network• Implementation, coordination and identification of TX infrastructure requirements in line with new technologies (route sizes, etc.)• Design TX infrastructure specifications based on MTNIrancell MW requirements• Consult with TX infrastructure vendors to deliver the projects based on detailed design specification and escalate possible issues to the manager
