The diffrence between "phrase" and "clause":
■ Phrase is a group of words together in which we don't have subject or a verb. (We can't use the phrases lonely cause they are not sentences or it's better to say they're "عبارت" in persian.)
›› e.g. Waiting for you to come.
›› e.g. Before night.
■ Clause is again a group of words in which you see a verb and a subject. As clauses are dependant and independant, they can be used lonely when they're independant.
›› e.g. Although it was hard, ...
›› e.g. While I was studying, ...
In the above two sentences, as u see both are dependant clauses, but the following sentence is independant:
›› e.g. He killed the poor son.

♦️ Timothy Treadwell spent 13 summers living with grizzly bears in remote Alaska. He loved them and gave them cute pet names like Mr. Chocolate. These wild animals were anything but cute. Weighing up to 1,700 pounds and standing up to 7 feet tall, these animals were dangerous. Treadwell wasn’t afraid though. He claimed he was an, “accepted wild animal and brother to these bears.” The grizzlies begged to differ. They tolerated his presence, but ultimately killed him.

Bear experts criticized Treadwell for sentimentalizing the wild animals. He refused to carry safety precautions like pepper spray. He believed he was somehow helping the bears, but experts believed he was causing them stress. They claimed he got too close and harassed them by singing songs and even touching them.
