🔺One of the effects of visiting Imam al-Hussain's (a) grave is being in the party of God.
🔺Visiting Imam al-Hussain's (a) grave will bring divine ranks for the person. One of these ranks, is to be included in the party of God.
🔺In the previous session, we said that according to a Hadith from Imam al-Sadiq (a.s), pilgrimage to the shrines of infallible Imams, is an obligation for Shias and friends. One of the important reasons for this covenant is mentioned below:
🔺The verse of affection in the holy Quran:
Affection is not just kindness, rather it’s an amity that comes with cost and sacrifice. Affection for Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) is announced as mandatory to us in holy Quran: "Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it except the love of [my] relatives.’ 42:23"
🔺Kindness alone will cause people to like Imams, but choose a lifestyle other than that of Imams.
🔺In a Hadith from Imam Ali al-Ridha (a.s) that was mentioned in the previous session, we read:
Go on pilgrimage willingly and acknowledge to love Imams.
🔺Therefore, affection entails sacrifice and perseverance.
🔺Lacking this special Quality (in Shias) is something that Imam al-Mahdi (a.s) considered as one of the obstacles of his return:
🔺In a letter that he wrote to Sheikh Mufid, he mentioned two important conditions that if Shias had it, his reappearance would happen faster: "loyalty" and "empathy".
