The benefits of #fasting in #Ramadan

🌻Thirty days of fasting allows the fasting person to easily resist the harams and carnal desires.
🌻Fasting is the best way to practice piety. Piety is the criterion of human value.
🌻In this regard, the Noble Quran says: "Indeed the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most Godwary among you. Quran 49:13"
🌻It shows that the criterion for human value is not the vegetal and bestial values that people normally compete for, such as beauty, physical strength, making family and having children, properties, eating well, social status, ...
🌻We should try to take the lead in divine and human values. When it is said that the most Godwary people are the noblest ones, it means that this value is related to the spiritual properties of the person, and not his physical and tangible attributes.

Make the divine values rule over you through #fasting

🍀A fasting person reinforces his divine aspect by keeping his besital aspect and carnal desires under pressure.
🍀Fasting binds the hands of Satan. God binds our wordly aspect through the rules and restrictions he has set for the month of Ramadan.
🍀On the other hand, He has let our true self (His spirit) completely free to feed through reciting the Noble Quran, reciting the remebrence (dhikr), offering prayers, and so on.
🍀Keeping the worldly self under pressure for one month and nourishing the "true self", will cause the "worldly self" to become weak and this will lead to the ruling of divine values over the person. God takes away the person's bestial vitality with fasting, and that's when the true feast (Spiritual) takes place.

Imam al_Sadiq (a) said:
"If someone fasts on a hot day and becomes thirsty, God will send a thousand angels to touch his/her face and give him/her glad tiding until iftar, and when s/he breaks his/her fast during iftar, God will say: 'How pleasant is your smell and your soul! O angels, witness that I have indeed forgiven his/her sins.
