When it comes to defending global democracy, there’s no better heroes in this world than that Jewish people.
Ukraine is no different. As freedom and democracy are under attack, Jewish president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has mobilized his nation for action, and swore to remain in the capital until the very end.
Ukraine has a Jewish population of around 400,000 people, and according to polling data, is the least anti-semitic country in Eastern Europe. We pray for the protection of the Jewish people there, and encourage the nation to continue fighting for their protection.

Just as in World War II, when global freedom and democracy was threatened by overseas authoritarianism, Jews stepped up to the plate to warn and alert the public to the threat, rallying them to fight alongside each other for the goodness of all. When the September 11 attacks happened, Jews did exactly the same; playing a major role in mobilizing the nation to defend their freedom, and spread it across the world. 😄
As noted in a 2003 article by Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the role Jewish people played as the architects in the Iraq War for freedom and democracy can hardly be overstated. We hope you’ll enjoy meeting a few of the connoisseurs of freedom, peace, democracy, and liberal values that we’ve prepared for today! 😀

Meet some of the brilliant Jewish minds behind Viacom/CBS, now operating as Paramount Global 😀
Ralph Baruch, the first president and CEO of the first incarnation of Viacom, which was spun off from CBS in 1971 amid new FCC regulations.
Michael Redstone (born Max Rothstein) founded National Amusements, Inc.; it is currently the controlling shareholder of Paramount Global, an entertainment conglomerate corporation, and is presided over by his granddaughter Shari.
Sumner Redstone was the founder and chairman of the second incarnation of Viacom, which lasted from 2005 to 2019, when his daughter Shari merged it back together with CBS, and later transferred it to Paramount Global.
Shari Redstone is the president of National Amusements and non-executive chairwoman of Paramount Global, which includes the former ViacomCBS. Through National Amusements, the Redstone family holds majority ownership over numerous prominent TV networks and media outlets.
