7 Things Christians Should Never Be Ashamed Of:
1. The Gospel (Romans 1:16)
2. The words of Christ (Mark 8:38)
3. Biblical holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16)
4. God's design for marriage (Matt. 19:4-6)
5. The authority of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16)
6. The exclusivity of Christ (John 14:6)
7. Standing apart from the world (Romans 12:2)
Truth does not become embarrassing because the culture rejects it.

๐Week 2: Financial Faithfulness and Generosity
๐ Q13 Commentary: The Fountain of Inexpressible Grace
๐ฏ Correct Answer: D
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: 2 Corinthians 9:15 (ESV) breaks forth in worship: โThanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: Paul closes his massive treatise on financial giving by taking our eyes off human achievement and focusing them squarely on Calvary. We do not give out of guilt or duty; we give as a visceral reaction to God's inexpressible giftโthe self-donation of His Son. This is the supreme model of generosity, where the infinitely rich King became poor so that we might be made rich eternally.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Option B used regional vocabulary ("churches of Macedonia") from the start of the section to catch readers who miss the theological climax.

๐ Q14 Commentary: The True Nature of Financial Greed
๐ฏ Correct Answer: A
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: Luke 12:15 (ESV) warns, โTake care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for oneโs life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: Jesus exposes covetousness as an aggressive, deceptive spiritual disease that attempts to attach human value to material accumulation. The world constantly promotes the lie that net worth equals human significance. Christ issues an intense military warning ("be on your guard") because the moment we believe our life is sustained by our possessions, we blind ourselves to our true existence as dependent creations of the Living God.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Option D used a beautifully written poetic echo ("things that moth and rust destroy") from the Sermon on the Mount to see who can separate Matthew's text from Luke's context.

October 15: The Call to Repentance
#Devotional
Ezekiel 30:1โ31:18; Revelation 15:1โ16:1; Job 37:1โ8
In the midst of judgment and calamity, the call to repentance resonates throughout Scripture. Both Ezekiel and Revelation remind us that Godโs desire is for His people to turn back to Him. The weight of sin can often feel heavy, yet Godโs grace is always ready to lift us up if we choose to respond to His call.
Ezekielโs prophetic words concerning Egypt serve as a stark warning about the consequences of turning away from God. In Revelation, we see a similar theme as the plagues are poured out, demonstrating Godโs righteous judgment against unrepentant hearts. โBut if you do not repent, you will all perishโ (Luke 13:3) echoes throughout the ages, urging us to reflect on our relationship with God.
True repentance is not merely an acknowledgment of wrongdoing; it involves a heartfelt turning away from sin and a sincere return to God. In Revelation 15:1, we are reminded that Godโs judgments are just and meant to lead us to repentance. The ultimate goal is purification and restoration, not punishment.
As we contemplate our lives, we must ask ourselves: Are there areas where we need to repent? Are there sins we cling to, thinking they wonโt be noticed? God sees all and invites us into a deeper relationship with Him. The beauty of repentance is that it allows us to experience His mercy and grace.
Let us not ignore the gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit. Embrace the call to repentance, for it leads to renewal and a closer walk with our Savior. Remember, it is never too late to turn back to Him.
How is God inviting you to repent today?

October 15 - Lessons from Bethesda, Part 2
#LifeOfChrist
โAfterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, โBehold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.โ The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbathโ (John 5:14โ16).
In response to this miracle, the Jewish authorities castigated the healed man for breaking their trivial rules (v. 10). They were more concerned with legalistic regulations than with the manโs well-beingโan attitude for which the Lord sharply rebuked them (Matt. 23:13ff.).
From this point on, the Jews were continually โpersecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.โ So began their open opposition toward Jesusโpersecution that would eventually result in His death.
The die was cast. Jesus confronted Jewish legalism by disregarding their Sabbath rules, challenging them with His true identity as the Son of God. The Jewsโ opposition to their own Messiah would harden and intensify until they crucified Him (1 Cor. 2:8).
Ask Yourself
Are there one or two individuals in your usual field of vision who are such sticklers for precision and protocol, they choke the life out of othersโ freedom in Christ? How do you deal with this kind of attitude? How might their predilection for order be of value to the Body if exercised properly?

Three warnings from the Bible:
1. Many think that people who steal, get drunk, or are greedy will still go to Heaven, but they won't (1 Cor. 6:9-10)
2. No one is good enough for God (Rom. 3:10-12)
3. Repent and trust in Jesus, or else you'll burn in Hell forever (Mark 9:47-48)

WEEK 3 โ Hidden Preparation (Oct 12โ18)
15. October 15 (Thursday)
Dear Daughter,
Esther spent a year in preparation before she ever stood before a king โ beauty treatments, yes, but also patience.
Whatever your marriage is preparing you for, let the process take as long as it needs. Rushed preparation shows.
'For such a time as this' required a whole year of readiness first.
'Each young woman's turn came to go in to King Xerxes after twelve months' (Est 2:12).
What preparation in your marriage are you tempted to rush?
