If Jesus said itโs true, itโs true. Thatโs the greatest support. There can be no more reliable witness to the nature of Scripture than the one who died and rose to be the Savior, Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ rules His church by His Spirit and by His Word. This is the divine authority.
Christian maturity means doing the natural thing spiritually, and the spiritual thing naturally.

๐Week 3: Caring for the Body and Resources
๐๏ธ Q1 Commentary: The Sacred Property of the King
๐ฏ Correct Answer: D
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: 1 Corinthians 6:19 (ESV) demands, โOr do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own.โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: Expository theology utterly demolishes the secular fiction of personal physical autonomy. The human body is not a neutral vessel, nor is it a personal playground; it is the bought-and-paid-for property of the Sovereign God. Paul uses the weight of the temple metaphor to show that your physical frame is the holy sanctuary of the indwelling Spirit. Ownership is legally and eternally settled by the blood of Christ. Therefore, every physical habit, appetite, and choice is directly elevated into an intense theological statement.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Option C was a highly sophisticated structural trap. While it captures the precise theology of the passage, it alters the exact textual layout of verse 19, catching those who read for general concepts rather than precise scriptural text.
โก Prophetic Proclamation:
The sands of the 45-minute decree are slipping away! You are not your own; you are a purchased possession. Will you pass by this sacred altar in indifferent silence? Cast your vote, smash the passivity of the spectator, and align with the truth before the answer is revealed!

๐Week 3: Caring for the Body and Resources
๐ฑ Q2 Commentary: Pre-Fall Stewardship and the Edenic Mandate
๐ฏ Correct Answer: B
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: Genesis 2:15 (ESV) records, โThe LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: In sound doctrine, stewardship is not a secondary patch introduced to fix a broken world; it is a foundational, pre-fall creation design. Before sin ever entered the cosmos, God assigned humanity a double mandate: to work it and keep it. Physical labor and resource management are inherently holy, dignified, and designed by God. To manage creation is to mirror the ordering care of the Creator Himself, demanding diligent execution free from sloth.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Options C and D utilized highly authentic-sounding synonyms like "tend, guard, cultivate, preserve" to exploit voters who guess based on poetic memory rather than direct, letter-by-letter reading of the text.
โก Prophetic Proclamation:
The 45-minute gate is narrowing fast, believer! God did not place you on earth to be a passive consumer, but an active steward. Pierce through the haze of hesitation, step into the light of Edenโs commission, and record your choice right now!

October 16: Mercy and Judgment
#Devotional
Ezekiel 32:1โ33:33; Revelation 16:1โ21; Job 37:9โ15
โGod is judge,โ we like to sayโespecially when someone is struggling with injustice. When we get to the book of Revelation, though, we might struggle to understand Godโs judgment. Yet even as John describes God dispensing judgment, he emphasizes Godโs righteousness and loving nature. He tells us we should not forget that God is a righteous judge.
The Bible is unapologetic and straightforward when speaking about Godโs judgment. This is especially true in Revelation. Here the judgment God exacts echoes the plagues that He sent on Pharaoh and Egypt in the book of Exodusโblood, darkness, fiery hail, and locusts. Although Pharaoh was given multiple opportunities to obey Godโs request, he still chose his own way. By turning the bodies of water into blood, God spoke what Pharaoh should have realized: โBy this you will know that I am Yahwehโ (Exod 7:17).
Revelation 16 pronounces God righteous not in spite of His judgment, but because of it (Rev 16:5). We might be tempted to question Godโs judgment, but Revelation shows us that His judgment displays His righteousness. Revelation also shows Godโs love for and protection of the saintsโthat His judgment is vengeance for their blood (Rev 16:6).
Those who receive judgment in Revelation express fierce opposition to God in their blasphemy. They rebel even to the end: โAnd people were burned up by the great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give him gloryโ (Rev 16:9). When other judgments come, the responses are the same (see also Rev 16:11, 21). Nothing hints at repentance.
Godโs judgment is not arbitrary, and His willingness to show mercy is great. Throughout the Bible, we hear about His longsuffering nature and His mercy that extends to a thousand generations. When we speak of His judgment, we should not diminish His mercy. We should speak carefully about God as a righteous judge, but we should balance and outweigh these statements by speaking of His longsuffering nature and incredible love.
How do you carefully weigh words about Godโs judgment?

October 16 - Jesus and the Sabbath
#LifeOfChrist
โHe answered them, โMy Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.โ For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with Godโ (John 5:17โ18).
The Sabbath observance was at the heart of Jewish worship in Jesusโ day. The Lordโs reply to those who persecuted Him for violating it (5:16), โMy Father is working until now, and I Myself am working,โ implies that the Sabbath was not instituted for Godโs benefit but for manโs (Mark 2:27).
Jesusโ statement that He worked on the Sabbath just like the Father was nothing less than a claim to full deity and equality with Godโthat โthe Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbathโ (Matt. 12:8). His words also served as a subtle rebuke to the Jewish legalistic system, under which He had been indicted for doing good and showing mercy on the Sabbath. After all, God Himself does good and shows mercy on the Sabbath. Jesus, therefore, maintained that it is right to do good on the Sabbath, since God does.
The hostile Jews instantly grasped the import of Jesusโ words and as a result were continually seeking โall the more to kill Him.โ He was not just breaking the Sabbath, but even worse, Jesus โalso was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.โ From this time forward they intensified their efforts to take His life, not just for flouting their man-made Sabbath regulations, but even more for asserting His deity.
Ask Yourself
Do you observe any Sabbath distinctions in your usual practice of the Lordโs Day? What are the benefits of these various habits or self-imposed restrictions? Would you say that the church today has a healthy understanding of the Sabbath? How could we lead each other to a better stance on it?

The tribulation is starting to bang loudly on the back door of this world, but the Rapture comes first...
"They have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water" (Jer 2:13).

โJesus Christ, Davidโs son and Davidโs desire, offers us more than a psalm or sympathy in our darkest moments. He gives himself. As we fumble in despair, he doesnโt just point us to God; he tabernacles among us as God.โ โGreg Morse
If you don't like how the Bible says these are sins:
โข Killing babies in the womb (Prov. 6:16-17; Psalm 139:13-16)
โข Sex outside of marriage (1 Thess. 4:3-5)
โข LGBTQIA+ (Rom. 1:26-27)
Then your problem is with God, not Christians, because He's the one who wrote the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16).

WEEK 3 โ Hidden Preparation (Oct 12โ18)
16. October 16 (Friday)
Dear Daughter,
Friday riddle: what does the chrysalis know that the caterpillar forgets? That the hidden stage looks like death but is actually becoming.
Rest tonight in whatever transformation your marriage is quietly undergoing, even if it feels uncomfortable or stuck.
Becoming is rarely photogenic mid-process.
'We are being transformed into his image' (2 Cor 3:18).
What transformation in your marriage might look stuck but is actually becoming?
