Let the one who is without sin, cast the first stone.
John 8:7
John 8:7
Four things that religious rituals can never do:
โข Forgive your sins
โข Grant you eternal life
โข Justify you before God
โข Get you to Heaven
Only Jesus.

There's too many accounts with "Christ is King" in their bios, but:
โข They're racist
โข They lack grace
โข They constantly argue and debate
โข They lack the fruit of the Spirit
"Not everyone who says to me, โLord, Lord,โ will enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matt. 7:21)

๐Week 3: Caring for the Body and Resources
๐ฌ๏ธ Q9 Commentary: Absolute Dependence on the Sovereign Breath
๐ฏ Correct Answer: B
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: Psalm 104:29 (ESV) reveals, โWhen you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: Expository theology radically tethers all created existence to the continuous, momentary providence of God. Creation does not run on an independent mechanical clock. The physical life of every animal, plant, and human being hangs completely on the divine countenance. If God hides His face, systemic dismay follows; if He withdraws His breath, physical animation ceases instantly. We are structurally dependent on the Sustainer for every single heartbeat.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Option C fabricated a vivid prophetic description of a failing harvest to capture voters who look for dramatic, external narratives rather than the internal reality of breath and dust.
โก Prophetic Proclamation:
Your very breath is a borrowed resource, yet you hesitate to speak for the truth. You have 45 minutes to drop your casual armor and face the precision text. Cast your vote before the time expires!

๐Week 3: Caring for the Body and Resources
๐ฝ๏ธ Q10 Commentary: The Defeat of False Asceticism
๐ฏ Correct Answer: D
โข ๐ The Scriptural Blueprint: 1 Timothy 4:4 (ESV) declares, โFor everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.โ
โข ๐ก The Theological Insight: Paul ruthlessly targets the demonic heresy of false asceticism, which erroneously treats the physical worldโmarriage, food, material resourcesโas inherently evil. Biblical stewardship is not marked by legalistic deprivation, but by holy reception. Because God is the Source of all creation, everything He made is good. The key that unlocks the proper enjoyment of physical resources is a heart of submissive gratitude, sanctifying the gift through the Word of God and prayer.
โข โ ๏ธ Strategy Breakdown: Option C borrowed authentic terminology from the groanings of creation in Romans 8:20 to distract voters with a complex, cross-reference trap.
โก Prophetic Proclamation:
The world deals in legalistic constraints, but true wisdom walks in sanctified liberty. The 45-minute window is closing down its gates. Do not remain a silent ghostโcommit your answer and test your grasp!

October 20: It Has Been Granted to You
#Devotional
Ezekiel 39:25โ40:49; Revelation 19:11โ20:6; Job 38:25โ33
โIt has been granted to her that she be dressed in bright, clean fine linenโ (Rev 19:8), announces a voice from heaven in Johnโs revelation. The voice describes the bride who waits in anticipationโrepresenting the believers who wait in expectation of being reunited with Christ.
The text contrasts the fine linen of the bride with the purple and scarlet cloth of the harlot, Babylon, who represents all that oppose Godโs reign (Rev 18:16). The harlot receives criticism for her infidelity: โFallen, fallen is Babylon the great.โฆ For all the nations have drunk from the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich from the power of her sensualityโ (Rev 18:2โ3).
But the cry goes out in and among Babylon: โCome out from her, my peopleโ (Rev 18:4). The bride, who is preparing herself for the wedding celebration of the Lamb (Rev 19:7), responds to the call to remain pureโto avoid the temptations of the age. She is given the opportunity to dress herself in bright, clean fine linen, representing โthe righteous deeds of the saintsโ (Rev 19:8). These deeds do not earn the bride her righteous standing before the Lamb, but they speak of a life that is transformed.
In Revelation, John uses this imagery to entreat the early believers to live righteously while awaiting the hope promised them. Christ has won the victory for usโthe final conquering of sin and evil is imminent. We are empowered to live for Him now, to prepare ourselves for the day when we will have our reward: His presence.
How does your expectation of Christโs coming help you live for Him now?

October 20 - Jesusโ Deity in His Honor
#LifeOfChrist
โโ. . . so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into lifeโโ (John 5:23โ24).
The Fatherโs purpose in entrusting all judgment to Jesus is โso that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father.โ It is only fitting that those equal in nature (vv. 17โ18), works (vv. 19โ20), power and sovereignty (v. 21), and judgment (v. 22) would be accorded equal honor. The Fatherโs honor is not diminished by the honor paid to Christ; on the contrary, it is enhanced.
Although the unbelieving Jews thought they were truly worshiping God while rejecting His Son (cf. 16:2), instead the opposite was true: โhe who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.โ โHe who hates Me,โ Jesus warned, โhates My Father alsoโ (John 15:23). Those who refuse to honor the Son while claiming to honor the Father are actually self-deceived.
That the Father and the Son are to be afforded equal honor forcefully asserts Christโs deity and equality with God, who declared through the prophet Isaiah, โI will not give My glory to anotherโ (Isa. 42:8; cf. 48:11). Yet the Father has commanded that โall will honor the Son.โ Willingly or unwillingly, everyone will eventually obey the Fatherโs command to honor Jesus Christ. The blessed promise to those who believe is that they โdo not come into judgment, but [have] passed out of death into life.โ
Ask Yourself
Many in our culture today still donโt have a lot of trouble believing in God, but Jesus is quite another matter. Are you sometimes convinced that a person is spiritually sound because he talks favorably of God and exhibits some good qualities? How do you speak to an individual like this about his or her need for Jesus?
