Christians, guard your hearts from sexual immorality.

Society tells you that lust is normal and harmless, but God calls it sin (Matt. 5:28).

Honor God with your body and your thoughts. Flee from anything that pulls you away from Christ.
❀2
The world will want to have you believe how awesome you are. Followers of Christ, on the other hand, should tell Jesus how awesome He is!
❀3
The Bible is not a book of gentle suggestions for your personal life. It is the authoritative Word of God that commands our obedience.

Submit your desires to the truth of Scripture.
Rahab was a prostitute. But she came to believe β€œthe Lord your God, he is God” (Jos 2:11).
Not the sorted or sinless. It is people like Rahab the Lord blesses: messy, guilty people who cry,
β€œNothing in my hands I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling.”

🌬️ Q13 Commentary: The Sovereign Breath of Cosmic Renewal

🎯 Correct Answer: B

β€’ πŸ“– The Scriptural Blueprint: Psalm 104:30 (ESV) proclaims, β€œWhen you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.”

β€’ πŸ’‘ The Theological Insight: Expository theology views creation not as a self-sustaining machine left to run on its own momentum, but as a system under the perpetual, momentary supervision of the Almighty. Immediately following the tragic reality of physical death and collapse when breath is withdrawn, the Psalmist pivots to a glorious act of cosmic restoration. The identical Spirit (Ruach) that hovered over the primordial deep in Genesis is the active Agent sent forth to breathe life, order, and physical renewal back into the dust. God is the continuous, exclusive Source of all structural vitality.

β€’ ⚠️ Strategy Breakdown: Option A and D deployed highly powerful, authentic cross-references from Joel 2:23 and Isaiah 55:11 to catch subscribers who look for poetic language rather than isolating the immediate creation-cycle text of Psalm 104.

⚑ Prophetic Proclamation:
The same Spirit that raises the dead calls your mind out of the shallows! The 45-minute countdown is slipping into historical memory. Do not stand like a statue at the gates of revelationβ€”break your stubborn silence, cast your vote, and engage the Word!

⏱️ Q14 Commentary: The Micro-Window of Sovereign Vindication

🎯 Correct Answer: D

β€’ πŸ“– The Scriptural Blueprint: Daniel 1:12 (ESV) records the precise parameters: β€œTest your servants for ten days; let us be given vegetables to eat and water to drink.”

β€’ πŸ’‘ The Theological Insight: True biblical conviction does not scream in reckless rebellion; it navigates with profound, text-driven wisdom. Daniel did not request an indefinite, comfortable timeline to prove his pointβ€”he demanded a precise, high-stakes micro-window of ten days. From an expository standpoint, this brief duration was intentionally insufficient for natural biological change to occur. This forced the outcome entirely into the realm of supernatural intervention, proving that physical strength is a direct byproduct of divine favor rather than earthly menus.

β€’ ⚠️ Strategy Breakdown: Option C served as a highly sophisticated contextual trap by borrowing the literal 21-day timeline from Daniel’s later, mourning fast in Daniel 10:2, perfectly testing whether your subscribers read the scriptures chronologically or by generic keyword association.

⚑ Prophetic Proclamation:
A brief ten days exposed the hollow vanity of Babylon's elite, and you have less than 45 minutes to expose your heart to the light of the text! The gate is narrowing fast. Wake your conscience from its slumber, step forward, and press the option before the ledger closes!

October 22: The New Jerusalem

#Devotional

Ezekiel 43:1–44:31; Revelation 21:9–27; Job 39:1–10

We are being made new. God is working in us now, and He will one day complete His work. Scripture speaks of the ultimate hope of this renewal: our reunion with God. For the first-century Jews, the new Jerusalem signified God once again dwelling with His people.

In his revelation, John describes the relationship between God and His people when He completes His work in us: β€œBehold, the dwelling of God is with humanity, and he will take up residence with them, and they will be his people and God himself will be with them. And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any longer, and mourning or wailing or pain will not exist any longer. The former things have passed away” (Rev 21:3–4).

The Lamb of God has achieved this picture of new creation and dwelling in God’s presence. His light is present throughout the imagery: β€œAnd the city has no need of the sun or of the moon, that they shine on it, for the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb” (Rev 21:23). Because of the Lamb’s sacrifice, the former things have passed away.

God will make you completely newβ€”free from sin, suffering, and pain. You are in transformation right now; He is shining His light in your life, exposing the darkness and separating it from the light. And someday you will stand before Him without fear of sin or pain or death or sorrowβ€”a work of new creation. How are you, like the recipients of John’s revelation, living in expectation of being made new?

How is God making you new today? What area of your life needs to reflect His work in you?
October 22 - Spiritual Resurrection: Purpose and Power

#LifeOfChrist

β€œβ€˜Those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself’” (John 5:25–26).

Those who experience spiritual resurrection will receive abundant (10:10), everlasting life. But the only ones who β€œwill live” are β€œthose who hear” in the sense of true faith and obedience to the gospel. β€œMy sheep hear My voice,” Jesus declared, β€œand I know them, and they follow Me” (10:27). Believers are those who have both the spiritual faculty and duty to respond to divine revelation. In contrast, the lost do not hear Christ’s voice; they are not saved and thus do not understand or obey it (8:43, 47; 12:47; 14:24), and hence will not live spiritually.

The Son can give life (v. 21) because, like the Father, He β€œhas life in Himself.” No one can give to others what he himself lacks; thus no sinful human being can generate for himself eternal life. God alone possesses it, and He grants it through His Son to whomever He wills.

Those who deny His deity twist Jesus’ statement about the Father giving life to the Son into a claim that He was created and thus inferior to the Father. Such is not the case, however. John has already stated in the prologue to his gospel that the Son possessed life in Himself from all eternity (1:4). When He became a man, our Lord voluntarily gave up the independent use of His divine attributes (Phil. 2:6–7). But the Father granted Him the authority to give life (both physical and spiritual) even during the self-limiting condescension of His earthly ministry.

Ask Yourself

What’s the motivation behind those who try to downplay Jesus’ divinity? What are they trying to avoid admitting or dealing with? What would you say to those who claim that doctrines like these are unimportant and nonessential?
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What comes first usually sets the tone for the rest of the day. So give the first thought of the day to God, not your worries.

Dear Daughter,
The prodigal's father saw him 'while he was still a long way off' β€” renewal was already running toward the wound before the apology arrived.

Run toward reconciliation in your marriage before all the explanations are finished. Grace moves first.
Love doesn't wait for the perfect apology.
'While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion' (Luke 15:20).

Where can you run toward reconciliation before the explanation is even finished?
