dhyāyē prātassurēśam ravikulatilakam ranjitānanta lōkam
bālam bālāruṇākṣam bhavamukhavinutam bhāvagamyam bhavaghnam|
dīvyantam svarṇakluptairmaṇi gaṇanikarthair bhūṣaṇairujjvalāngam
kausalyādēhajātam mama hrdayagatam rāma mīṣat smitāsyam||

Rough translation:

i pray early in the morning to the one who is superior among the gods, the best of the surya clan, granter of bliss to all the worlds, is young with eyes as bright and tender as the sun at early dawn, is praised by shiva, is the final goal, is the end of dhyana and the remover of all worldly sins.
i pray to rama, who is supremely divine, resplendent with gold studded jewelry and precious gems, who is born to kousalya, who resides in my heart and is ever smiling.

ధ్యాయే ప్రాతస్సురేశం రవికులతిలకం రంజితానంతలోకం

దీవ్యంతం స్వర్ణక్లుప్తైర్మణిగణనికరైర్భూషణై రుజ్జ్వలాంగం

కౌసల్యాదేహజాతం మమ హృదయగతం రామ మీషత్ స్మితాస్యమ్ ॥


తాత్పర్యం:

దేవతలకధిపతి యైనట్టియు,
సూర్యవంశశ్రేష్ఠుడైనట్టియు,
ఆనందింపజేయబడిన యెల్లలోకము గలిగినట్టియు,
పిల్లవాడైనట్టియు,
లేతసూర్యునివలె ఎర్రనైన నేత్రములు కలిగినట్టియు,
శివాదులచే స్తోత్రము చేయబడినట్టియు,
హృదయమందు ధ్యానింపదగినట్టియు,
సంసారబాధను పోగొట్టునట్టియు,
శ్రేష్ఠుడైనట్టియు,
బంగారుతో చేయబడి మణులచే వ్యాప్తములైన అలంకారములచే ప్రకాశించునట్టియు,
కౌసల్యకు కుమారుడైనట్టియు,
నా హృదయమం దున్నట్టియు,
చిఱునవ్వుతో కూడిన ముఖము కలట్టియు అయినవాడైన

madhyānhē rāmacandram maṇigaṇalalitam mandahāsāvalōkam
mārtānḍānēkabhāsam marakatanikarākāra mānandamūrtim|
sītāvāmānkasanstham sarasijanayanam pītavāsō vasānam
vandēham vāsudēvam varaśaradhanuṣam mānasē mē vibhāntam||

Rough translation:

ramachandra adorned with precious jewels is glancing at the world with a smiling face. he is glowing like a cluster of numerous suns, resplendent like a heap of precious jade and is the embodiment of happiness. the lotus eyed lord is adorned in yellow clothes with sita seated on his left thigh; i bow down during noon, to this form of vasudeva adorned with mighty bow and arrows and ever shining in my mind.

మధ్యాహ్నే రామచంద్రం మణిగణలలితం మందహాసావలోకం

మార్తాండానేకభాసం మరకతనికరాకార మానందమూర్తిమ్ I

సీతావామాంకసంస్థం సరసిజనయనం పీతవాసో వసానం

వందేఽహం వాసుదేవం వరశరధనుషం మానసే మే విభాంతమ్ ॥


తాత్పర్యం:

మాణిక్యసమూహముచే సుందరు డైనట్టియు,
చిఱునవ్వుతో కూడిన చూపులు కలిగినట్టియు,
బహుసూర్యుల కాంతి కలిగినట్టియు,
మరకతమణుల ప్రోగువంటి ఆకారము కలిగినట్టియు,
ఆనందస్వరూపుడైనట్టియు,
ఎడమతొడపైనున్న సీత కలిగినట్టియు,
పద్మములవంటి నేత్రములు కలిగినట్టియు,
పచ్చని వస్త్రము ధరించినట్టియు,
అన్నిలోకములకు నివాసస్థానమైనట్టియు,
శ్రేష్ఠములైన ధనుర్బాణములు కలిగినట్టియు,
నా మనమున ప్రకాశించుచున్నట్టి
శ్రీరాముని మధ్యాహ్నమున నమస్కరించుచున్నాను.

dhyayē rāmam sudhānśum natasakalabhavāraṇya tāpa prahāram
śyāmam śāntam surēndram suramunivinatam kōṭisūryaprakāṣam|
sītāsaumitrisēvyam surasarasugamam divyasamhāsanastham
sāyānhyē rāmacandram smitaruciramukham sarvadā mē prasannam||

Rough translation:

i bow down to rama, who like the moon bestows coolness and removes the suffering of devotees burning with worldly problems, who is dark complexioned, peaceful, superior to all the gods and has the splendor of a 1000 suns, who is served by sita and lakshmana, who is easily approachable by gods and humans and is seated on a magnificent throne. in the evening, i pray to such a lord, who with a beautiful smiling face is always compassionate towards me.

ధ్యాయే రామం సుధాంశుం నతసకలభవారణ్యతాపప్రహారం

శ్యామం శాంతం సురేంద్రం సురమునివినతం కోటిసూర్యప్రకాశమ్ I

సీతాసౌమిత్రిసేవ్యం సురసరసుగమం దివ్యసింహాసనస్థం

సాయాహ్నే రామచంద్రం స్మితరుచిరముఖం సర్వదా మే ప్రసన్నమ్ ॥


తాత్పర్యం:

చంద్రునివలె ఉన్నట్టి,

నమస్కరించువారికి సంసారారణ్యబాధనంతయు హరించునట్టి,

నల్లనైనట్టి, శాంతుడైనట్టి,

దేవతలకు అధిపతియైనట్టి,

దేవతలచే మునులచే నమస్కరింపబడుచున్నట్టి,

కోటిసూర్యుల కాంతివంటి కాంతి కలిగినట్టి,

సీతాలక్ష్మణులచే సేవింపబడుచున్నట్టి,

దేవతలకు మనుష్యులకు సులభుడైనట్టి,

శ్రేష్ఠ సింహాసనమందున్నట్టి,

నవ్వుచే సుందరమైన మోముగలట్టి

రామమూర్తిని ఎల్లపుడు సాయంకాలమందు ధ్యానించుచున్నాను.

kēyūrāngada kankaṇair maṇigaṇai r vairōcamānam sadā
rākāpārvaṇam candrakōṭisadṛśam chatrēṇa vairājitam|
hēmastambha sahasraṣōḍaśayatē madhyē mahāmanḍapē
dēvēśam bharatādibhiḥ parvṛtam rāmam bhajē śyāmalam||

Rough translation:

i bow down and sing the praises of rama, who is adorned with glittering gem studded shoulder ornaments and bracelets, who is resplendent under a dazzling umbrella shining like crores of moons, who is in a pavilion surrounded by sixteen thousand golden pillars, who is supreme amongst the gods and surrounded by bharata and others.

కేయూరాంగదకంకణైర్మణిగణై ర్వైరోచమానం సదా

దేవేశం భరతాదిభిః పరివృతం రామం భజే శ్యామలమ్ ॥


తాత్పర్యం:

నిత్యము కంకణకేయూరమణిసమూహములచే ప్రకాశించుచున్నట్టి,

కోటి పూర్ణచంద్రులతో సమానుడైనట్టి,

గొడుగుచే ప్రకాశించునట్టి,

పదియారువేల బంగారు స్తంభములతో కూడిన మంటపమధ్యమందున్నట్టి,

దేవతలకు అధిపతియైనట్టి,

భరతాదులచే నావరింపబడినట్టి

నల్లనివాడైనట్టి శ్రీరాముని సేవించుచున్నాను.

gṛhāṇa pāṇau maṇi cāruvēṇum|
māyūrabarham ca nijōttamāngē
sītāpatē rāghava rāmacandra||

Rough translation:

o! consort of sita! descendent of raghu! ramachandra! i pray that you leave your bow at this very instant and hold in your hands a beautiful flute decorated with gems and adorn a peacock feather on your head(devotee wants to say rama and krishna are the same) .

విహాయ కోదండ మిమం ముహూర్తం

గృహాణ పాణౌ మణిచారువేణుమ్ I

సీతాపతి వగు ఓ రామచంద్రా!

క్షణము ఈ ధనస్సు విడిచి చేతియందు మణులచే సుందరమగు పిల్లనగ్రోవిని, నీ శిరమున నెమలిపింఛమును ధరించుము.

kāncīdāmānuviddhaprati maṇivilasat kinkiṇīnikvanāngam|
phālē muktālalāmam padayuganinadam nūpuram cāruhāsam
bālam rāmam bhajēham praṇatajanamanaḥkhēdavicchēdadakṣam||

Rough translation:

the supreme lord as a small child is moving with a pleasant smile in the midst of mothers, in the presence of dasaratha, inside the pure inner chamber for ladies in the palace (of dasaratha), his waistband studded with precious gems and small bells which are making pleasant and melodious sounds, adorned with a dot on his forehead prepared by the mixing of pearls and with anklets on both feet making tinkling sounds; i pray to such a lord rama who is capable of removing the obstacles of sorrows of those who praise him.

శుద్ధాంతే మాతృమధ్యే దశరథపురతః సంచరంతం పరం తం

ఫాలే ముక్తాలలామం పదయుగనినదం నూపురం చారుహాసం

బాలం రామం భజేఽహం ప్రణతజనమనఃఖేదవిచ్ఛేదదక్షమ్ ॥


తాత్పర్యం:

అంతఃపురమున తల్లులమధ్యమందు దశరథుని యెదుట సంచరించుచున్నట్టి,

ఉత్కృష్టుడైనట్టి,

మొలత్రాటియందు కూర్చబడిన మణులచేత నొప్పు మువ్వలచప్పుడుతో కూడిన శరీరము కలిగినట్టి,

నుదుట ముత్యాలచేరుచుక్క కలిగినట్టి,

పాదములయందు ధ్వనిచేయుచున్న అందెలు కలిగినట్టి,

సుందరమైన నవ్వు కలిగినట్టి,

నమస్కరించు జనుల మనస్సున గల బాధను పోగొట్టుటయందు సమర్థుడైనట్టి

బాలుడైన శ్రీరాముని సేవించుచున్నాను.
