Suryashtakam idham nithyam,
Graha peeda pranasanam,
Aputhro labhathe puthram,
Daridhro dhanavan Bhaveth.
If one recites daily this octet on Sun God,
The sufferings of his house will vanish,
If he does not have a son will get one,
And if he is poor, he would become wealthy.

( composed by Lord shiva )
Raghavayadhaveeyam

The author Sri Venkatadhvari was born at Arasanipalai near Kancheepuram and was the follower of Sri Vedanta desikan. He had mastery in poetry and rhetoric. He had composed 14 works, the most important of them being Lakshmisahasram by composing which he got back his lost eyesight.
The present work Raghavayadhaveeyam comprises of 30 verses and deals with the story of Rama and Krishna together by adopting the style of anuloma and prathiloma, that is, reading each stanza as such and in reverse order, the former telling the story of Rama while the latter narrating the story of Krishna. Hence this work actually consists of 60 slokas in all.
The story of Rama follows Valmiki Ramayana closely but there is a slight deviation with respect to the story of Krishna which will be explained as the work progresses. The style is rather difficult to understand and the commentary in Sanskrit is provided by the author himself to facilitate comprehension.
vande ahaM devaM taM shrItaM rantAraM kAlaM bhAsA ya:| rAma: rAmAdhI: ApyAga:leelAm Ara Ayodhye vAse||

Meaning in primary order (anuloma)
By anuloma or primary order, the sloka describes Rama.
I pay obeisance to Sri Rama, who traveled to the mountains of Malaya and Sahya, with his mind occupied with the thought of Sita and returned to Ayodhya and was sporting with Sita for a long time.
Now in reverse order same sloka ( prathiloma)

sevAdhyeyo rAmAlAlee gopyArAdhI mArAmorA:| yassAbhAla~NkAraM tAraM taM shrItaM vande ahaM devam||
(The reverse order will be obvious only by reading it in devanagari)
Meaning:
I bow to lord Krishna, who is contemplated by penance and sacrifice, who plays with Rukmini and other consorts, who is worshipped by the gopis, whose chest is the sporting field of Lakshmi and who is adorned with radiant ornaments.
हरिर्हरति पापानि दुष्टाचित्तैरपि स्मृतः!
अनिच्छयापि संपृष्ठो दहत्येव हि पावकः!!

Just like Fire burns anything that touches it knowingly or unknowingly, Vishnu nama will burn all the Sins if you utter it Knowingly or unknowingly..
Today is Mohini ekadasi and Trisprusa: the day where ekadasi , dwadasi and trayodasi are combined and one of the most powerful days for ekadasi

The story :
Sri Yudhisthira Maharaja said, Oh Janardana, what is the name of the Ekadasi that occurs during the light fortnight (shukla paksha) of the month of Vaisakha (April-May) what is the process for observing it properly? Kindly narrate all of these details to me.
The Supreme Lord, Lord Sri Krishna replied, Oh blessed son of Dharma, what Vasishtha Muni once

told to Lord Ramachandra I shall now describe to you. Please hear Me attentively.
Lord Ramachandra asked Vasishtha Muni, "Oh great sage, I would like to hear about the best of all fasting days that day which destroys all kinds of sins and sorrows. I have suffered long enough in separation from My dear Sita, and so I wish to hear from you about how My suffering can be ended."
The sage Vasishtha replied, Oh Lord Rama, Oh You, whose intelligence is so keen, simply by remembering Your name one can cross the ocean of the material world. You have questioned me in order to benefit all of humanity and fulfill everyone's desires. I shall now describe that day of fasting which purifies the whole world.
Oh Rama, that day is known as Vaisakha-sukla Ekadasi, which falls on Dvadasii. It removes all sins and is famous as Mohinii Ekadasi. Truly, Oh dear Rama, the merit of this Ekadasi frees the fortunate soul who observes it from the network of illusion. Therefore, if You want to relieve Your suffering(s), observe this auspicious Ekadasi perfectly, for it removes all obstacles from ones path and relieves the greatest miseries. Kindly listen as I describe its glories, because for one who even just hears about this auspicious Ekadasi, the greatest sins are nullified.
On the banks of the Sarasvati River there was once a beautiful city named Bhadravati, which was ruled by King Dyutiman. Oh Rama, that steadfast, truthful, and highly intelligent king was born in the dynasty of the Moon (Chandra-vamsa). In his kingdom was a merchant named Dhanapala, who possessed a great deal of wealth of food grains and money. He was also very pious. Dhanapala arranged for lakes to be dug, sacrificial arenas to be erected, and beautiful gardens to be cultivated for the benefit of all the citizens of Bhadravati. He was an excellent devotee of Lord Vishnu and had five sons: Sumana, Sadbuddhi, Medhavii, Sukriti, and Dhrishthabuddhi.
Unfortunately, his son Dhrishthabuddhi always engaged in greatly sinful activities, such as sleeping with prostitutes and associating with similar degraded persons. He enjoyed illicit sex, gambling, and many other varieties of acts aimed at gratifying the senses. He disrespected the demigods (devas), the Brahmins, the forefathers and other elders of the community, as well as his family's guests. The evil-hearted Dhrishthabuddhi spent up his father's wealth

indiscriminately, always feasting on untouchable foods and drinking alcohol to excess.
One day Dhanapala kicked Dhrishthabuddhi out of the house after he saw him walking along the road arm-in-arm with a known prostitute. From then on all Dhrishthabuddhi's relatives were highly critical of him and distanced themselves from him also. After he had sold all of his inherited ornaments and become destitute, the prostitute also abandoned him and insulted him because of his poverty.
Dhrishthabuddhi was now full of anxiety, and also hungry. He thought, What should I do? Where should I go? How can I maintain myself? He then began to steal. The king's constables arrested him, but when they learned who he was, and that his father was the famous Dhanapala, they released him. He was caught and released in this way many times. But at last, sick of his arrogance and total disrespect for others, and their property, the ill-mannered Dhrishthabuddhi was apprehended, handcuffed, and then beaten. After whipping him, the king's marshals warned him, Oh evil minded one, there is no place for you in this kingdom.
However, Dhrishthabuddhi was freed from his tribulation by his father and immediately thereafter entered the dense forest. He wandered here and there, hungry and thirsty and suffering greatly. Eventually he began killing the jungle animals, and for food.
Dhrishthabuddhi was always miserable and anxious, but one day, during the month of Vaisakha, by the force of some of his past merit he chanced upon the sacred Ashrama of Kaundinya Muni. The great sage had just finished bathing in the Ganges River, and water was dripping from him still. Dhrishthabuddhi had the great good fortune to touch some of those droplets of water that were falling from the great sage's wet clothing. Instantly Dhrishthabuddhi was freed of his ignorance, and his sinful reactions were reduced. Offering his humble obeisances to Kaundinya Muni, Dhrishthabuddhi prayed to him with joined palms; Oh great Brahman, please describe to me some of the atonement I may perform without too much endeavor. I have committed so many sins in my life, and these have now made me very poor.
The great rishi replied Oh son, listen with great attention, for by hearing me your life will change, and you will become free of all your remaining sins. In the light fortnight of this very month, Vaisakha (April-May) there occurs the sacred Mohinii Ekadasi. If you follow

my advice and faithfully observe a fast on this Ekadasi, which is so dear to Lord Hari, you will be freed from all the sinful reactions of many, many births.
Hearing these words with great joy, Dhrishthabuddhi promised to observe a fast on Mohinii Ekadasi according to the sage's instructions and direction. Vasishtaji says, Oh best of kings, Oh Ramachandra Bhagawan, by fasting completely on Mohinii Ekadasi, the once sinful Dhrishthabuddhi, the prodigal son of the merchant Dhanapala, became sinless. Afterwards he achieved a beautiful transcendental form and, free at last of all obstacles, rode upon the carrier of Lord Vishnu, Garuda, to the Supreme abode of the Lord.
Oh Ramachandra, the fast day of Mohinii Ekadasi removes the darkest illusory attachments to material existence. There is thus no better fast day in all the three worlds than this.
And He who hears and studies the glories of Mohinii Ekadasi achieves the merit of giving away one thousand cows in charity.
Thus ends the narration of the glories of Vaisakha-shukla Ekadasi, or Mohinii Ekadasi, from the Kurma Purana.

On 10th April around 1200 people sang Sri Ram Tandav Stotram at Dhanushkodhi near Rameshwaram for World Peace. It was beautifully arranged at 3 am in the form of Shivlinga on seashore for one hour. No media reported this creative event. Watch these two videos.
Hey Krishna
I decided to continue my journey and write about every slokas applicability to our work and our life . If you want to join this online satsangh please join to continue the 8 th batch spirit

The first sloka of Chapter 1 in the Bhagavad Gita reads as follows:

"Dhritarashtra Uvacha: Dharma-kshetre kuru-kshetre samaveta yuyutsavah; Mamakah Pandavas chaiva kim akurvata Sanjaya?"

Translation: "Dhritarashtra said: O Sanjaya, what did my sons and the sons of Pandu do when they had gathered together, eager for battle, on the holy plain of Kurukshetra?"

This sloka sets the stage for the dialogue between Dhritarashtra and Sanjaya, where Dhritarashtra, blind and anxious, seeks information about the events unfolding on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, where his sons, the Kauravas, and his nephews, the Pandavas, are about to engage in a great war.

Now, let's explore how this can be applied to day-to-day life, including the workplace, with an example:

In a workplace context, this sloka highlights the importance of being aware of and informed about the situations and events happening around us. Just as Dhritarashtra seeks information about the battlefield, it is crucial for individuals in their workplace to stay updated, be attentive, and possess knowledge of ongoing projects, challenges, and decisions. This awareness helps individuals make informed choices and contribute meaningfully to their work environment.

For instance, imagine a project team where the manager, like Dhritarashtra, lacks visibility into the current status and actions of the team members. By asking questions and seeking updates, the manager can gain insight into the progress, challenges, and potential conflicts. This knowledge empowers the manager to provide guidance, resolve issues, and make informed decisions. Without this awareness, miscommunication and misunderstandings could arise, hindering progress and causing unnecessary conflicts.

In summary, the first sloka of the Bhagavad Gita highlights the importance of being informed and aware, which can be applied in day-to-day life, including the workplace, to foster effective communication, informed decision-making, and a harmonious work environment.

Sloka 2 : Seeking Guidance

The second sloka of Chapter 1 in the Bhagavad Gita is as follows:

sañjaya uvācha dṛiṣhṭvā tu pāṇḍavānīkaṁ vyūḍhaṁ duryodhanastadā āchāryamupasaṅgamya rājā vachanamabravīt

Translation: "Sanjaya said: O King, upon seeing the Pandava army standing in formation, King Duryodhana approached his teacher, Dronacharya, and spoke the following words."

This sloka describes the scene where Duryodhana, the leader of the Kaurava army, observes the army of the Pandavas, and he seeks counsel from his teacher, Dronacharya, about the state of affairs.

Now, let's explore how this sloka can be applied to day-to-day life, including the workplace, with an example:

In a workplace context, this sloka emphasizes the importance of seeking guidance and advice from experienced mentors or leaders when faced with challenges or uncertainty. Similar to Duryodhana approaching Dronacharya, individuals in their workplace can benefit from reaching out to mentors, managers, or experienced colleagues for support and guidance.

For example, imagine a junior employee who is assigned a complex task that they are unfamiliar with. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and struggling in isolation, they can approach their team lead or a senior colleague for guidance. By seeking advice, clarifying doubts, and understanding the best approach, they can learn from the expertise of others, gain valuable insights, and increase their chances of success. Four time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is one of the classiest players. He overcame many adversities , he drew power through hard work and determination . Brady didn’t reach this point alone he was actively mentored long time by Tom Martinez.

Similarly, leaders and managers can also apply this principle by seeking advice from their own mentors or seeking input from their team members. Recognizing that they don't have to carry the burden of decision-making alone, they can leverage the collective wisdom and diverse perspectives of their team.

In summary, the second sloka of the Bhagavad Gita reminds us of the importance of seeking guidance and counsel from experienced individuals in day-to-day life, including the workplace. By reaching out to mentors, managers, or colleagues, individuals can gain valuable insights, overcome challenges, and make informed decisions. This approach fosters a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous learning within the workplace.

Sloka 3 : Recognizing Talent

paśhyaitāṁ pāṇḍu-putrāṇām āchārya mahatīṁ chamūm vyūḍhāṁ drupada-putreṇa tava śhiṣhyeṇa dhīmatā

Meaning : “ O my teacher, behold the great army of the sons of Pandu, so expertly arranged by your intelligent disciple, the son of Drupada."

This verse is spoken by Duryodhana, the leader of the Kaurava army, as he addresses his teacher, Dronacharya. Duryodhana acknowledges the impressive arrangement and skills demonstrated by the Pandava army, particularly under the leadership of their intelligent disciple, Drupada's son.

In a workplace context, this verse highlights the importance of recognizing and acknowledging the talents, skills, and accomplishments of others. It teaches us the value of appreciating the strengths and abilities of our colleagues or team members.

Consider a scenario where a team member successfully executes a challenging project, demonstrating exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills. In such a case, it is essential for colleagues, including managers or superiors, to recognize and appreciate the efforts and achievements of that team member. By acknowledging their abilities and accomplishments, it fosters a positive work environment and motivates individuals to continue excelling in their roles.

Furthermore, this verse emphasizes the significance of giving credit where it is due even if it is your adversary or competition. Just as Duryodhana credits the arrangement of the Pandava army to their intelligent disciple, in the workplace, it is important to acknowledge and give credit to those who contribute to the success of a project or team. There are many unsung heroes who don’t get recognition . We should also recognize such hidden talents which are never spoken .

This practice encourages collaboration, boosts morale, and nurtures a culture of recognition and appreciation.

Martina Hingis was a tennis prodigy that, like most, peaked too early. After retiring at age 22, she focused her attention on horse riding. This passion of hers became her new concentration, which she pursued.In 2009, at the Gucci Masters International Jumping Competition, she participated and took a terrible dive off the horse.
She may never be as good of a show jumper as she was a tennis star, but this hidden talent is still quite impressive.

Modern wars in the 1930s, all of Europe was barricading itself away behind fortresses, walls and defence lines. The whole world was amazed by two superstructures of the time: the French Maginot Line, and the German Siegfried Line, which were respectively 700 and 630 kilometres in length.

In summary, the third sloka of Chapter 1 in the Bhagavad Gita highlights the importance of recognizing and appreciating the talents and accomplishments of others.
