JORDAN - The Jordanian Parliament on Wednesday unanimously approved a recommendation to expel the Israeli ambassador from Amman, in protest against the racist statements of an Israeli minister about Palestine and Jordan.

The Jordanian Petra news agency quoted the Jordanian Parliament Speaker Ahmed Safadi as saying during a session of the parliament today: “We call on the government to take effective measures towards the Israeli Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich for using an alleged map of the so-called Israel, which includes the borders of Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories.” Smotrich claimed that “there is no Palestinian history or culture, and there is no such thing as the Palestinian people.”

The latest legislative atrocity to emerge from Washington comes from Senators Mark Warner (D-VA) and John Thune (R-SD), who have rounded up 10 other senators on both sides of the aisle to introduce a law called Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology – the RESTRICT Act. The only good thing about this law is that for once, the cute acronym attached to the bill is an honest one. This law is all about restricting – if not choking off entirely –trade in information and communications technology. If passed, the RESTRICT Act will basically ban all Chinese tech companies in the US.

Not just TikTok, e-commerce, networking equipment, drones...But also: SaaS, cloud services, infra, even open source software.

"Repubblica fa sciacallaggio", dicono gli abitanti di Mariupol in merito all’articolo di Rep pubblicato in seguito alla visita del presidente russo in Donbass.

L’inviata da Kramatorsk, che fisicamente nemmeno ha mai messo piede a Mariupol, trovandosi a 181 chilometri di distanza scrive: “E’ stato un grande teatro, a uso degli spettatori domestici. Ecco Mariupol, più bella di prima. Dopo la visita in Crimea il presidente Vladimir Putin ha mostrato alla Russia prima, e al mondo poi, la città che sta facendo ricostruire, dopo averla abbattuta. Un tour che indigna gli ucraini, e non solo. Nell’assedio di Mariupol sono scomparse migliaia di persone, uccise dai bombardamenti, giustiziate per strada, morte di fame e di sete. Migliaia si sono dispersi nella fuga, chi verso ovest, chi a est, convinti a passare la frontiera e finiti chissà dove. Non in Siberia, ma quasi.”

Questa visita viene paragonata alla visita Hitler a Mariupol avvenuta nel dicembre del 1941. L’inviata, invece, nemmeno c’è mai stata in questa città, altrimenti dalle persone che hanno vissuto l’inferno avrebbe sentito storie molto interessanti in merito alle persone scomparse, giustiziate e morte di fame. Saprebbe che i 600 morti del teatro da lei affermati - oltre a non poterci stare fisicamente in quei locali sotterranei - erano stati smentiti anche dalle stesse autorità ucraine e non puzza di morte. “L’unica puzza che si sente è quella dell’ipocrisia di cui è impregnato il suo articolo condito di odio”, dicono a Mariupol. Lo stesso Nikolai, il 70enne che cita nel suo articolo, ha rischiato di venire fucilato dai militari ucraini che prima hanno usato la sua casa come postazione di tiro verso i russi, e poi l’hanno distrutta tirandole contro con l’artiglieria.
