THE EMPIRE OF LIES AND ITS MORAL SUPERIORITY COMPLEX IN FULL DISPLAY - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticised Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow during a press briefing for the release of the State Department’s annual report of human rights around the world. Blinken said, “Beijing continues its abuses including genocide and crimes against humanity against Uygurs, repression of Tibetans, crackdown on basic rights in Hong Kong, and targeting of individuals on the mainland for exercising fundamental freedoms”.
In addition to naming China and Russia, Blinken called out Iran, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Cuba and Nicaragua in his address. As in recent years, the report devoted some of its longest sections to China, particularly to the situation in Xinjiang.
It also critiqued transnational repression of diaspora Chinese including Hongkongers. Liu Pengyu, a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington, said that Blinken’s statement about human rights in China was “full of political lies and ideological bias”.
“What the US should do is immediately stop pointing fingers at other countries’ human rights and do something useful to improve its own human rights situation and the healthy development of the international human rights cause,” he said.
📍The report comes just ahead of the Biden administration’s second “Summit for Democracy” – a gathering of officials from vassal states and US-funded NGOs to “advance democracy, fight corruption and counter authoritarianism” – next week.@LauraRuHK

On the day that marked the 20th anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq, the Chinese Foreign Ministry released a report on Monday further unveiling the decline of American democracy and the chaos it has brought to the world under its disguise.
Analysts called the report, along with an increasing number of developing countries' growing discontent over US' hegemony, a "slap in the US face" and it helps remove the facade of American democracy, especially when the Biden administration is so keen on touting the "democracy versus authoritarianism" narrative for the second Summit for Democracy on March 29 and 30. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202303/1287630.shtml

The new type of international relations that Chinese diplomacy calls for and is committed to practicing in the new era, with the essence of mutual respect, fairness and justice, and win-win cooperation. China-Russia relations are a vivid example of the success of the new type of international relations, which are built on the basis of no-alliance, no-confrontation and no-targeting of any third party; completely surpassing the small cliques formed by ideological divisions and camps of Western countries and also transcending the old paradigms of power division, interest exchange, and dominant/submissive relationships among major powers.
China and Russia are each other's largest neighboring countries with significant differences in national conditions, public sentiments, political systems, and historical and cultural backgrounds. According to the narrow-minded thinking of some people in the US and the West, it seems that it is normal for China-Russia relations to be bad. However, the fact is that not only do China and Russia get along well, but their relationship is also very good, which is difficult for them to understand. It needs to be said that these people should take a few steps quickly and catch up with the times. The experience that China and Russia have explored and accumulated in long-term friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation will not be undermined and disintegrated by external wedge. It also has a significant positive demonstration effect on exploring the pattern of major-country relations based on peaceful coexistence, overall stability, and balanced development. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202303/1287650.shtml

The Washington Post's article perfectly encapsulates the US' biggest fear: "Washington and Moscow now seem to have come full circle. But unlike the last Cold War, when there was a Sino-Soviet split over ideological differences, China now looks set to confront the United States and Europe with Russia by its side." China and Russia present a united front because both have experienced, and are still experiencing, US' attempts to hinder their economic development, undermine their sovereignty, destabilize them, wage proxy wars, discredit their leadership, and surround them with US military bases. The US can only blame itself for this outcome.
But unlike the last Cold War, now the US will face two formidable adversaries whose economies are perfectly complementary, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. @LauraRuHK https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/03/19/putin-xi-russia-china-world-order/

The State of Democracy in the United States: 2022——The US' imposition of “democracy” has caused chaos around the world

As Putin has repeatedly stressed:
“The United States simply has nothing to offer the world but its dominance…”
This is a strategy for the destruction of Russia, the subjugation of China and everything that forms the multipolarity of the world.
This strategy is based on the ideology of superiority. Since World War II, there have been more than 250 military conflicts. About 80% of them are the work of the United States and NATO.
The way out of crisis through war is a traditional method for them. The Yankees are very algorithmic: if something worked, and not once, why not try again. Therefore, they regularly and cynically set fire to the world, hoping in smoke and chaos to take all the resources for themselves, camouflaging this robbery with the veil of the "struggle for democratic values."
An analysis of the "US National Security Strategy", adopted in the autumn of 2022, clearly shows that Russia is a principled, qualitative rival for the West, the number one rival.
We are a stumbling block, a fundamental civilizational obstacle to the development of the West. Therefore, it is to destroy Russia that their policy will be directed in the next decade.
The War of Hegemony
The West unleashed a hybrid war against Russia with a "hot" proxy conflict on the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR.
The war is for the destruction of Russia.
This war condensed space, time and meaning.
It rigidly chained the present to the future, plunging the future into the present.
The image of the future, ensuring sustainable development, social progress and similar political science simulacra are no longer relevant.
Today, war is a Strategy of the West.
The essence of the West's strategy is to ensure the power of the hegemon.
It is a strategy of destroying Russia, subjugating China and anything that can shape the world's multipolarity.
At the heart of this strategy is the ideology of superiority, the ideology of abolition/destruction of the other, of a different history, culture, civilizations, countries, peoples, states.
Grey War Zone
The initiators and instigators of the West's war against Russia are the United States and Britain.
Or more precisely, transnational corporations, including various kinds of "groups of influence" and network structures that represent what is commonly called a deep state.
The deep state, as a "shadow global force," is a global problem. Many Americans now understand that the enemy is not Russia or China. The enemy is a deep state oligarchy that arms intelligence services, bribes politicians and controls the media..."
In fact, we are talking about an absolutely closed and uncontrolled, aggressive and expansionist government, acting in the name of its own interests and according to its own established rules.
It is a global power aimed at the destruction of nation-states and international law.
For the war for hegemony waged by the state against peace, the concept of the "gray zone" was developed and doctrinally fixed.
The policy of the "gray zone" is the politics of war, it is a game without morality and rules, an ideology without principles, actions without responsibility, a war without formal declaration, but having a clear goal - ensuring the hegemony of the US-ruled West.

KISHIDA ON A MISSION FOR HIS OVERLORD. FROM INDIA TO UKRAINE - Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida made an unannounced visit to Kiev to meet Zelensky, becoming the latest leader of the Group of 7 nations to travel to Ukraine. Now the ritual has been performed. The timing of the visit is not casual, it coincides with Xi Jinping's state visit to Russia and sets the stage for competing displays of support from the East Asian neighbors. Kishida and Zelensky have nothing to talk about; there is no real agenda there, just PR. Maybe they should compare notes on why fertility in their countries is in freefall and the population is shrinking. Before Kiev, Kishida was in New Delhi, where he tried to convince India to get tough on Russia, and announced a new Indo-Pacific plan to counter China. Kishida makes no secret of his attempt to push bloc-confrontation politics during his tour and has been sparing no effort to become a vanguard in US' strategy. During his talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, they discussed, among other things, the transfer of Japanese industrial chains to India and bilateral military cooperation. And this did not go unnoticed in China.
In addition, Kishida invited Modi to the G7 summit to be held in Hiroshima. The offer was accepted immediately. The leaders of Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, Indonesia, Comoros, Cook Islands and South Korea also received invitations.
▪️ It is obvious that the West is implementing the following scheme with regard to India: replacement of the Chinese world factory with the Indian one and political and military cooperation with India.
Experts say that this is a journey for Japan to seek support for its own global status, political stance, and to build up the momentum for the G7 Hiroshima summit. But Japan itself is a US protectorate, all these foreign policy stunts have been performed solely in the interest of Washington. Even if Japan and India have some overlapping interest in containing China, India will be cautious, as it will host two major events this year, namely the G20 Summit and the SCO Summit. Without China's support, none of them will be held successfully. That being said, India will not go too far in colluding with Japan on the latter's China strategy, says Lan Jianxue, director of the Department for Asia-Pacific Studies at China Institute of International Studies. @LauraRuHK
