Neo-Nazi terror threat grows as Ukraine fighters jailed in France
The jailing of two heavily armed French neo-Nazis returning from Ukraine highlights a looming problem for NATO states sponsoring the proxy war, and their conspiracy of silence on the nature of the threat. Both were on the radar of French domestic spying agency DGSI, which held files on them for endangering state security. One was a veteran of Chasseurs Alpins (Alpine Hunters), France’s elite mountain infantry force. The other is a notorious local far-right activist.
It is likely the pair were planning to bring the terror of Ukraine’s battlefields back home with them. Last November, Italian police arrested five members of the local neo-Nazi group, Order of Hagal, which maintains operational ties to Azov Battalion. A sixth member, then-fighting alongside Azov in Ukraine, remained wanted.
Given the US almost undoubtedly intends to throw Ukraine under the bus in the near future, it raises the almost inevitable prospect of vast scores of fascist fighters fleeing the country to elsewhere in Europe, bringing with them battlefield experience, and in many cases elite Western military training. High-end weapons and ammunition will be available in abundance on the black market, due to the massive wellspring of arms shipments to Kiev over the course of the conflict. Buckle up!

THE US IS SEEKING CHINA'S HELP TO CLEAN THE MESS IT CREATED BUT LACKS SINCERITY - Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Jake Sullivan, US National Security Advisor, had a 10-hour meeting in Vienna on Wednesday and Thursday.
The two sides exchanged views on major topics, including on bilateral relations, the Taiwan question, Asia-Pacific situation, and the Ukraine crisis. The Chinese side noted that the overall China-US relationship cannot be simply defined by "competition" and the US cannot ask for communication and dialogue while harming China's core interests. It remains to be seen if the US can honor its promises to China, regain rationality in its China policy and stop provocations. The Wang-Sullivan meeting took place against the backdrop of frozen China-US relations that continue to decline, with confrontations raised to a level that is rarely seen. Chinese analysts note that it is the US' common tactics to press China for dialogue when it needs China's cooperation in dealing with some serious domestic and global problems. For instance, the US government could default on its payment obligation as soon as early June, which will severely destabilize the global financial system, destroy the US credit and strike a huge blow to the US' position in the global economy. .
Some observers also noted that the US' "eagerness" to seek dialogue with China seems more like opportunism, adding that US' sincerity remains questionable as it still continues the game of saying one thing but doing another. The US might be trying to play "good cop" with China, after outsourcing to role of "bad cop" to its allies. But China can see through this strategy. The goal of this initial phase of the Ukrainian offensive is still to find the weak spots in the Russian armour. The main event will not begin in earnest until we see:
— a real and sustained artillery barrage against the Russian positions across the entire (or most) of the frontline;
— long-range missile and MLRS strikes at the rear of the Russian groupings, at depots, and command and communications infrastructure;
— the deployment in significant numbers of the stored-up drone arsenal; and,
— massive information warfare fud about Russian troops allegedly leaving positions.
This is still the first stage. Nothing has happened so far that gives cause for immediate concern. Even minor retreats and withdrawals would mean very little. Any such maneuvers will generally have been prepared in advance to lure the Ukrainian forces into artillery fire bags.
For those inclined to panic, I would recommend taking a break from media for a couple of days, then return to watch history happen. Those of hardier constitution are welcome to follow our reports.

On May 10-11, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin attended a high-level four-party meeting (Russia, Türkiye, Ukraine plus the UN) in Istanbul as a member of the Russian interdepartmental delegation.
The parties focused on the implementation of the package of agreements signed in Istanbul on July 22, 2022. They laid emphasis on the Black Sea Initiative on the export of Ukrainian grain, which expires on May 18. The parties conducted a detailed exchange of views on the current problems in the work of the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) and the proposals by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on unblocking the Togliatti–Odessa Ammonia Pipeline.
⚠️ Russian delegates confirmed that the exports of ammonia were supposed to begin simultaneously with the export of Ukrainian grain under both Istanbul agreements and without any preliminary conditions. Emphasising the interlinked character of the package agreements, the Russian participants noted the absence of progress in implementing the Russia-UN Memorandum on normalising domestic agricultural exports.
They pointed to five systemic problems (bank payments, transport logistics and insurance, parts supplies, unblocking “frozen” assets and the ammonia pipeline). These obstacles continue preventing Russian agricultural exports from reaching global markets.
❗️ Russian delegates noted that commercial exports of Ukrainian grain (70 percent of which is fodder corn and feeder grain) mostly to the advanced countries are not of primary importance for ensuring global food security and reducing the threat of famine. To reach these goals, it is more important to normalise exports of Russian fertilisers and grain (70 percent of which is wheat), which are being complicated by Western unilateral blocking sanctions.

The EU countries are experiencing great difficulties in developing an algorithm of policy towards China. On one hand, they want to force Beijing to turn away from Russia, and ideally for them - to drive Beijing back into the so-called "rules-based world order" - a world order based on Western) rules, which is practically impossible. But, on the other hand, the EU is afraid of going into direct conflict, because it cannot sacrifice trade and economic relations with China for ideology and geopolitics. In 2022, EU imports from China reached $626 billion, which is a fifth - 21% - of the total imports of the EU countries. EU exports to China are also large - $ 230 billion (almost a tenth of all exports). The energy gap with Russia and the loss of a large part of the Russian market have already cost them dearly. This was and remains the most powerful stress for the European economy, primarily the German one. The economy of the EU countries will not survive the second, much more powerful stress (due to the critical dependence on trade and economic relations with China). Even the German "greens" are aware of this. Moreover, Western governments may face a boycott of their measures against China by their own big business. Mercedes, which left Russia, has already stated that it does not intend to leave China even in the event of a military conflict over Taiwan, because the Chinese market is too important. 📢Lo ha dichiarato il capo della diplomazia Ue Josep Borrell in apertura del forum UE-ATP (Paesi della regione Asia Pacifico), in cui è stato invitato anche il ministro degli Esteri ucraino Dmytro Kuleba per chiedere il sostegno dei Paesi dell'Asia.
🗯"Dall'annessione illegale della Crimea da parte della Russia nel 2014, le spese militari della Ue sono aumentate del 30%. Tuttavia, nella regione indo-pacifica, questa tendenza è ancora più marcata, in quanto le spese militari sono salite del 40% rispetto al 2013”.

The law on Islamic banking, which the State Duma of the Russian Federation intends to adopt before July 1, will give Russia access to the capital of the richest Islamic countries, primarily the Persian Gulf. Until now, this has not been necessary - the main partners of the Russian Federation were Western countries, independent financial consultant Mikhail Belyaev explained to the telegram channel "Looking East":
“Islamic banking is very widespread in the world. According to various estimates, this is more than $3.5 trillion, or 6% of all world money. But most importantly, this money is not controlled by the United States. As soon as the law is passed, branches of Eastern banks will begin to open in Russia, which will conduct business in accordance with the norms of Islam - interest-bearing transactions are prohibited, and you can make a profit only through investments and leasing - the country will gain access to this very powerful financial market."
Banks in Southeast Asia will also open branches in Russia as soon as the legislative framework regulating Islamic banking is in place, Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Russian State Duma committee on the financial market, told Vzglyad Vostok:
“Moreover, the interest is not only in the Persian Gulf countries, I talked with the leadership of Islamic banks in Southeast Asia, they are also ready to work with us.”

If you think Bellingcat are a bunch of citizen journalists working hard for you, you should read my investigation into them.
Among other things, it found:
* Bellingcat is quietly funded by CIA front group, the National Endowment for Democracy;
* Bellingcat founder Eliot Higgins is employed by NATO at the Atlantic Council;
* A gigantic amount of Bellingcat contributors are "former" Western military or intelligence. Bellingcat rarely, if ever, acknowledges this glaring conflict of interests in their writers' bios.
* Leaked UK intelligence documents show that British spooks consider Bellingcat to be a part of their propaganda network, but lament that the outlet has been "partially discredited" because of its propensity to publish false information.
* Unfortunately, writing for Bellingcat is often a launchpad into landing jobs at top Western media outlets.

She won the second round of elections in Gagauzia for the Shor party, which is one of the main opposition parties in Moldova.
Ilan Shor has often spoken out against the unprecedented abuses by the Moldovan president, Maia Sandu, a Soros' protegee supported by the West.
Shor was sentenced in April to 15 years in prison after being accused of financial crimes and is now living in Israel. Moldova and Israel do not have an extradition agreement. @LauraRuHK
