🇷🇸 Violent clashes between KFOR soldiers and Serbs: peacekeepers attacked citizens who were holding a peaceful protest - RT Balkan
Explosions are heard in front of the Zvecan municipality building, an RT Balkan correspondent reports.
“There is a big cloud of smoke over the municipality. It is not known exactly what they are throwing, and in front of the municipality there is a violent clash between the gathered citizens and the peacekeeping forces. The Serbs were pushed back by about 30 meters," the correspondent reports.
KFOR attacked the Serbs and tried to disperse the protesters.
“The car, in which the security forces of the Kosovo special forces ROSU were located, was pulled out and moved 20 meters back, the injured KFOR fighters are retreating,” they say from the scene.

🇷🇸 NATO's KFOR Special Forces use weapons against Kosovo Serbs - at least one person wounded
The situation in Serb-inhabited northern Kosovo remains stubbornly tense. In Zvecan, the KFOR commander demanded that the assembled Serbs immediately let the Kosovo KFOR special forces vehicles through to rotate the forces. The Kosovars should enter the municipal building along with the Pristina-appointed "mayor." Otherwise, the KFOR head said the Serb protesters "will face consequences," hinting at the use of weapons.
Such repercussions have already been felt by the Serbs - KFOR has used stun grenades and rubber bullets against the protesters, and gunshots have been heard. At least one person has been wounded. In Leposavić, the locals have also refused to disperse, while in Zubin Potok, Serbian activists have promised to come out every day and block the local administration building, which has been taken over by the Kosovo "police".

Kosovo, I wrote in 2005, is everything that is wrong with the West: "...a monument to the power of lies, the successful murder of law, and the triumph of might over justice." Unfortunately, I was right.
The NATO "peacekeeping" mission that occupied the Serbian province in 1999 on behalf of ethnic Albanian separatists — allowing them to "mostly peacefully" ethnically cleanse, burn, loot and murder their way to power — have now been deployed, once again, against the unarmed ethnic Serbs. Their "threat to democracy" was assembling peacefully to protest the travesty of establishing ethnic Albanian governance on four counties in the north, which have an ethnic Serb majority (the rest of the Serbs having been either ethnically cleansed of shuttered in ghettos).
The Albanians claim this is is legitimate, because these people got elected. Nevermind that these elections saw single-digit turnout, with as many as a dozen whole votes for certain posts, because the ethnic Serbs boycotted them as illegitimate (which they were). Ah, but then the GAE — which is the supreme arbiter of democracy after all — declared that this was perfectly fine, carry on. Then they claimed to be concerned and issued "strongly" (not really) worded statements, but did absolutely nothing to prevent Albin Kurti's regime from usurping power. And now they brought out their troops to support him. As always, watch what they do, not what they say.
Speaking out about this isn't likely to help the Serbs trapped in occupied Kosovo. After all, the GAE is immune to shaming, for it has no shame. But it glows like an atomic beacon to the rest of the world as to who is in the right, and who is in the wrong. And that may eventually make all the difference.

As the West is constantly devising new, or updating old, "divide and rule" schemes, the Global South has grown tired of zero-sum games - it is far more receptive to the win-win diplomacy adopted by non-Western actors, where the focus is on achieving a convergence of national and international interests rather than exploiting rivalry. India and China should not focus on what divides them but build on what unites them. It goes without saying that the second course of action is far more beneficial to both countries, it stimulates their growth and exchanges, protects peace and stability in the region. Like China, India is a country with a distinct civilization and is trying to shake off the remnants of colonialism from its culture and the hearts and minds of its people, a prerequisite to achieve national rejuvenation. Both sides view regional and international crises with Eastern wisdom, and that's anathema to the West.
Asia and the world are big enough to accommodate the simultaneous rise of both China and India. In Chinese society, few people believe that India's economic and social development will become a threat to China. The vast majority of people agree that the two countries can achieve mutual success. The Chinese side hopes that India can show more of such clarity and confidence when dealing with China and the West. This clarity and confidence are a prominent sign that India has truly emerged from the shadow of colonialism, and it is also essential for promoting multipolarity and democratization of international relations. This editorial published today in the Global Times spells out China's support for India's decolonization efforts. @LauraRuHK https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202305/1291598.shtml

The Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, urged to trust only official sources and not to disseminate unverified information. He stressed that there were no serious casualties as a result of the drone attack.
The mayor added that all emergency services are at the scene, and at the time of their work, residents of several entrances in two houses were evacuated.
In turn, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, said that air defense shot down several drones in the region. He urged residents of the region to remain calm. (RIA Novosti) @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK

Mao Ning also expressed support for Serbia’s efforts to safeguard its sovereignty.
The spokesperson also criticized unilateral actions by the temporary institutions in Pristina and called on them to establish an association or community of Serb majority municipalities, fulfilling their duty to do so.

📹 Vladimir Putin confirms Russian strike on Ukrainian military intel HQ in Kiev
💬 "We've already mentioned that we can strike the decision-making centers and headquarters. Obviously, the Military Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's headquarters is also such a target. And in response, as you are well aware, the Kiev regime chose a different path, a path to try to intimidate Russia and its citizens, to try to target residential buildings. It is an obvious indicator of terrorist activity,"

🌀 The recent G7 summit should be understood as firstly, the shaping of a battlespace in the ‘War of Narratives’ whose principal ‘front’ today is the Team Biden insistence that only one ‘reality’ — the US-led ‘Rules’ ideology (and it alone) – can predominate.
And, secondly to underline pointedly that the West is ‘not losing’ in this war against the other ‘reality’. This other reality is the multivalent ‘otherness’ that self-evidently is attracting more and more support around the world.
Many in the West are simply unaware of how fast the geopolitical tectonic plates are shifting: The original plate bifurcation (the failed financial war declared on Russia), already has led to a building wave. Anger is growing. People now no longer feel alone in rejecting western hegemony – they “no longer care”.
In just the week that preceded the G7 summit, the Arab League literally ‘went multi-polar’; It quit its former pro-US automaticity. The embrace of President Assad and the Syrian government was both the logical consequence to the secondary tectonic-plate shift set in motion by China with its Saudi-Iranian diplomacy — a revolution which Mohammad bin Salman (MbS) then logically extended to the entire Arab sphere.
MbS sealed this ‘break-free’ of US control through having President al-Assad invited to the Summit to symbolise the League’s act of generalised iconoclasm.
For the West, it is ontologically impossible to tolerate their reality being disassembled: to see their society and the world split in two. The narrative reality is so embedded via the well-honed effectiveness of MSM messaging however, that politicians have become lazy. They do not have to argue their case, and have no incentive to hold back on untruths either.
The endless bitter antagonism to Putin and to Russia has allowed a self-imagined reality to detach, ultimately becoming a delusion 🔮
