Tomorrow General Mark Milley, the top military adviser to the US president, is handing the reins over to his replacement, Air Force Gen. C.Q. Brown. Milley steps down at a critical moment, when the West shows signs of running out of weapons for Ukraine and support for the war is dwindling. Two Afro-Americans, Brown and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, will be in the hot seat. @LauraRuHK

Beijing has issued a White Paper titled A Global Community of Shared Future. It reads like a manifesto of the new multipolar world that is taking shape before our eyes, a global community based on sovereign equality. China's status as an economic superpower depends on global economic development, peace and stability, and that's why China seeks partners, not rivals. "There is no iron law that dictates that a rising power will inevitably seek hegemony. This assumption represents typical hegemonic thinking and is grounded in memories of catastrophic wars between hegemonic powers in the past. China has never accepted that once a country becomes strong enough, it will invariably seek hegemony. China understands the lesson of history — that hegemony preludes decline. We pursue development and revitalization through our own efforts, rather than invasion or expansion. And everything we do is for the purpose of providing a better life for our people, all the while creating more development opportunities for the entire world, not in order to supersede or subjugate others. ▪️The strong preying on the weak is not a way for humans to coexist. If the law of the jungle is imposed on human society, and the idea that "might makes right" prevails, the principle of sovereign equality will be fundamentally undermined, and world peace and stability will be severely endangered. In the age of globalization, all countries are interdependent and interconnected. Therefore the law of the jungle and the winner-takes-all mindset will lead nowhere — inclusive development for the benefit of all is the right path forward." https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/a/202309/27/WS65137a58a310d2dce4bb80af.html @LauraRuHK

La fonte occulta del potere
Alberto Bradanini

Continua... 👇

Karl Kraus, who diagnosed and denounced the toxic role journalism played in fomenting World War I, wrote "How is the world ruled and led to war? Diplomats lie to journalists and believe these lies when they see them in print." In the early 20th century diplomats wielded much more power than they do today, they were still playing a central role in shaping foreign policy, there were no think tanks. Kraus used the term ‘Katastrophe der Phrasen’ (Catastrophe of Clichés) to describe how the use of clichés and stereotypes by journalists and in everyday language leads to war. The most enduring and misleading clichés about Russia are the product of Western racism and ignorance about the country. When Russians are racialized as "Asiatic" to stir up Russophobia in Ukraine and in the West, when Russia is portrayed as a backward, barbaric country you can be sure that the peddlers of these clichés know next to nothing about Russia. The Orwellian "Ignorance is Strength" was supposed to keep the masses blind and the Party in power, but when the Party believes the lies it tells the masses, the result is war and...defeat. Sun Tzu said "Know the enemy and know yourself in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and of yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril." The West's ignorance of Russia, its history and culture, doesn't bode well. @LauraRuHK

The National Import Substitution Center in Moscow will be expanded by 2.5 times

This is about the Rudnevo industrial park, which was inspected by Vladimir Putin in the spring.

Now 18 production buildings have been built on the territory. All enterprises receive unprecedented tax and customs privileges. An increase in the area will make it possible to create another 15-20 thousand new jobs in "Rudnevo" (Nekrasovka metro station).

An inter-industry UAV center is being created on the basis of the industrial park, and domestic production of ATMs, electric capacitors, prostheses, medical scanners and other medical products has already appeared here.

Ukrainian Defence Minister Reznikov (Ex, for 2+ weeks now) and his team have been proven to steal at least $1bn from the state budget, yet he was honorably discharged.
For sure, he did not steal all this money personally. These funds dissolved in the pockets of his big "team" and family.

Appealing these claims Ukrainian President Zelensky in an interview with Western journalists hastened to assure that Mr. Reznikov stole money not from American taxpayers, but only from Ukrainian taxpayers, which means that it is not such a big problem and certainly it should not bother the West.

To let you know, by the way, Minister Reznikov recently purchased a $7 million villa in Cannes as a small wedding gift for his daughter. After this purchase and, according to sources familiar with the situation, the transfer of $30 million to foreign accounts, he asked for his resignation.
This is the Ukraine you wanted to see and there will be no other Ukraine for you.

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to facilitate the border crossing of Ukrainian citizens.
According to the decree, Ukrainians can cross the Russian border without applying for a visa and will also be allowed to enter Russia with expired documents. https://tass.ru/obschestvo/18876495 This measure shows that, contrary to Western and Ukrainian propaganda, Russians regard Ukrainians as members of the family. Visa-free travel will help millions of Ukrainians currently living in Russia invite their relatives over and may also attract Ukrainians who are currently in the EU. The Russian labour market is buoyant and the lack of a language barrier is a pulling factor for many Ukrainians. ▪️An agreement between the governments of the Russian Federation and Ukraine on visa-free travel for citizens of the two countries has been in force since 1997 but after 1 January 2023, on the initiative of the Ukrainian side, the agreement was terminated. @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK https://t.me/golosmordora/31988

The reason why the Nazi scandal broke out in the Canadian parliament rather than in the European parliament is that old members of the SS are mostly dead and the over-90s no longer live in Europe anyway: many of them had found a safe haven on the American continent at the end of World War II to escape justice. In the European Parliament, billions of euros have been allocated to support their offspring in Ukraine and those who are applauding and cheering them will one day say 'sorry, we didn't know they were Nazis', just as their Canadian colleagues claim ignorance as an excuse. This ignorance is the product of systematic censorship, both in the mainstream media and on the Internet: Anyone who dares to highlight the crimes of the Kiev regime and its ideological orientation is threatened, labelled as a Russian propagandist, discredited and silenced by watchdogs paid by NATO and the Anglo-American security services. @LauraRuHK https://t.me/golosmordora/31988

GERMANY - The Bundestag explicitly rejects categorizing Stepan Bandera, the Waffen-SS Division "Galicia", the OUN, the UPA, and the Azov Regiment, as right-wing extremists, anti-Semitic, or otherwise racist. ⚡️To avert a government shutdown the US House of Representatives approved a 45-day funding bill to keep federal agencies open as Speaker Kevin McCarthy dropped demands for steep spending cuts and relied on Democratic votes.
The new bill does not include aid to Ukraine, a White House priority opposed by a growing number of GOP lawmakers, but the plan would increase federal disaster assistance by $16 billion. The package was approved 335-91, with most Republicans and almost all Democrats supporting it.

The bill will now be sent to the Senate. @LauraRuHK
