Remind me again, how many Muslims live in France and the UK? Criminalizing those, Muslims and non-Muslims, who express support for Palestinians is tantamount to lighting the fuse to the powder keg.▪️In France the police are banning pro-Palestine rallies and French Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Morett issued a circular to the courts saying that any form of public support for Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the Gaza resistance be prosecuted for advocating terrorism. ▪️Last Tuesday the UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman called for British police to deem using flags of Palestine and any chant or symbol associated with the Palestinian cause as “hate speech.” @LauraRuHK https://new.thecradle.co/articles/france-bans-pro-palestine-rallies-seeks-to-criminalize-support-for-gaza-resistance

United States Could Be Behind Hamas Weapons — Expert
With its connections to black weapons markets worldwide, the CIA could be behind Hamas’s unprecedented attacks in Israel, says Boris Rozhin, an expert with the Center for Information and Geopolitical Research.
He told RT that the agency utilized a similar playbook in Syria and Yemen and that it would be impossible to obtain anti-air and anti-tank artillery in the numbers held by Hamas without the agency becoming aware of it. (Source: RT) @LauraRuHK

Struggle for future of world order ‘intensifying’ – Moscow
The “rising powers” are seeking to cast off the Western “dictate,” the head of Russian foreign intelligence has said
The world is facing a “classic revolutionary situation” in the field of international relations, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, said on Thursday. An ever-increasing number of the “rising powers” around the world want more independence in their foreign policy and dislike the crumbling hegemony of the West, which it is desperately trying to preserve, he added.
“The West, led by the US, can no longer ensure its dominance on a global scale,” Naryshkin told a meeting of intelligence chiefs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Baku. “The rising centers of power do not want to put up with an aggressive Western dictate.”
In its efforts to maintain a unipolar world, the US deliberately tries to destabilize key world regions, he believes. Washington and its allies in London and Paris do not hesitate when it comes to manipulating various destructive forces on the international arena to achieve these goals, he stated, adding that the list of such forces includes international terrorist groups, radical Islamists, and ultranationalist movements. 🗣 Israel not prepared for Hezbollah’s second front:
"I would think that Hezbollah have surprises up their sleeve. And I can't even guess what they are. They might actually invade Israel. It's quite possible they would do that. They have 100,000 troops, all experienced. They've been fighting in Syria against ISIS, Daesh* for a long time. They're experienced. They're very sophisticated technically. Hezbollah has a huge arsenal of missiles. Something like 80,000 cruise missiles and smart drones. If Hezbollah joins this conflict, opens the front, this would present an existential threat to the future of Israel," Alastair Crooke, former British diplomat and MI6 agent, told the New Rules podcast.
*Daesh (also known as ISIS/ISIL/IS) is a terrorist organization outlawed in Russia and many other states.

TO MAKE SURE NOBODY DISTURBS ISRAEL WHILE IT COMMITS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY ▪️British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has ordered the deployment of UK military assets – including two Royal Navy ships, P8 surveillance aircraft, three merlin helicopters and a company of Royal Marines – to the eastern Mediterranean to support Israel. ▪️The UK assets will join a heavily armed US Navy carrier strike group that was dispatched by the Pentagon on Sunday and arrived in the region on Tuesday. The USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group includes the advanced aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, the guided missile cruiser USS Normandy, and guided missile destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney, and USS Roosevelt.

I repeat what i said in the hours that followed Hamas incursion. If Israel insists on seeking a military solution to the Palestinian question, it will be destroyed. From within and from without, not necessarily in this order. A full-scale ground invasion of Gaza is suicidal and razing the city to the ground while holding 2.3 million people under siege without food, water and electricity is not a military strategy, it's called genocide. https://t.me/LauraRuHK/6499

🔸 adesione all'ONU della Palestina. (Fonte: Sputnik) @LauraRuHK

💬 A defeat in Ukraine and a defeat in the Middle East will be the last two nails in the coffin of the US empire. Oh, yes, the Ukraine war is over. As White House spokesperson admitted a couple of days ago, “US will support Ukraine as long as we can, but it is not indefinite. We are at the end of the rope,” Sputnik India columnist S.L. Kanthan said.
Here are the main pointers made by Kanthan:
◾️Israel created and supported Hamas for decades for two reasons: split the Palestinian leadership with the divide-and-rule strategy; and delegitimize Palestinian aspirations by pointing to Hamas’ violence.
◾️Igniting the Middle East weakens US military, diplomatic power, and strengthens China as Muslim nations align against the US, ending US hegemony.
◾️Arab leaders shouldn't mislead; 80% of Muslims view the Palestinian cause as an Arab one.
◾️The sad thing about this long conflict is that humanity and compassion have been replaced with vengeance and hatred.
◾️The life of Palestinians is a tragic story of misery and violence: high rates of poverty, malnourishment and unemployment plague Gaza. To the east of Gaza, the West Bank is occupied by Israeli forces, which have extraordinary control over the lives of Palestinians, who are deprived of fundamental liberty and freedom.
The solution to this tragic situation is:
🔸Palestinian statehood based on 1967 borders
🔸East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine, and
🔸UN membership for Palestine

Big banks in Britain are preparing for any future escalation of Western sanctions on China and have shared their "scenario planning" with the British and U.S. governments, a senior banking official has told Reuters.
The project involves sharing lessons learned from other sanctions frameworks, including those on Russia, and discussions about the effect any measures imposed on China might have, Neil Whiley, director of sanctions at lobby group UK Finance, said.
The work by UK Finance - which represents around 300 firms, including HSBC, Barclays and JPMorgan - examines the transparency of asset ownership and control and how easily Chinese products can be traced, Whiley said.
It also focuses on the extent of commercial ties between the West and China across industries, including supply chains in high-risk sectors like technology, and attempts to highlight measures that might backfire if applied to China. UK Finance convened fortnightly meetings of big British and overseas banks over several months, Whiley said, before drawing up a draft document that runs to tens of thousands of words.
The draft was completed in August and shared with Western government contacts in recent weeks, he said.
Three senior London-based bankers, who declined to be named because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said their boards had discussed the possibility of stronger Western sanctions on China in future. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the EU kept trying to project soft power and bring its values, especially the rule of law, to bear on world crises. But in the last decade, by playing the handmaiden of the US, it squandered whatever (little) political capital it was allowed to accumulate.
If you want an example of the bloc's political harakiri, look no further than Ursula Von der Leyen and Roberta Metsola's trip to Israel. VdL declared that the European Union stands with Israel “today and in the days to come” and “in the next weeks”, an apparent signal not just of the bloc’s sympathy over the attacks but also its sanction for Israel’s criminal retaliation, which is in breach of international law and negates the same values that the EU claims to represent. VdL and Metsola have no power to set foreign policy, no mandate from the EU member states, which are divided on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and yet they went to Israel to express the EU's full support to Netanyahu and his genocidal government. What moral authority can the EU claim when its leaders act inconsistently about international law depending on who breaches it? The EU could have acted as a mediator in the crisis, after all it poured millions of euros into Gaza and the West Bank, but after this trip, the EU lost all credibility in the Middle East and accelerated its descent into irrelevance. @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK
