@LauraRuHK

Landfills in Europe have been fully vaccinated - “At least 215 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines purchased by EU countries at the height of the pandemic have since been thrown away at an estimated cost to the taxpayer of €4 billion, an analysis by POLITICO reveals. And that's almost certainly an underestimate.
“Since the first coronavirus vaccines were approved in late 2020, EU countries have collectively taken delivery of 1.5 billion doses (more than three for every person in Europe). Many of these now lie in landfills across the Continent.” https://www.politico.eu/article/europe-bonfire-covid-vaccines-coronavirus-waste-europe-analysis/?fbclid=IwAR38IesZE7jLaNZJ1avbzNLxd5QL-XCyeHpbvjBYvKFi6LlLotVOtOVfbl4

As i anticipated in my latest article, EUnuchs are already brainstorming ways to stop Viktor Orbán from blunting Brussels’ support for Kiev.
At the summit of EU leaders in Brussels on Thursday Orbán vetoed the €50bn, four-year financial aid package for Ukraine.
EU officials have considered invoking Article 7 of the 2007 EU treaty, which allows a member state to be stripped of its voting rights "for breach of European law", writes the Financial Times. @LauraRuHK https://archive.is/20231218071657/https://www.ft.com/content/96d15e1a-4e23-4013-a5ba-8234f993b8b4#selection-2209.0-2258.2

The US is exerting pressure on Saudi Arabia to delay the signing of a peace agreement with Yemen and instead join a "maritime protection" task force to confront Yemeni attacks against Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea https://t.me/LauraRuHK/7105 ▪️According to a report by Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, a draft peace deal between Sanaa and Riyadh has already been finalized. It could be signed before the end of the year, potentially ending a NATO-backed war that has decimated the Arab world's poorest country for eight years.
“Saudi Arabia is going through a difficult test between two options […] Either it will emerge from the Yemeni quagmire under a roadmap agreed upon with Sanaa, or it will submit to US dictates and join the international maritime coalition, and this means remaining vulnerable to [western] blackmail,” the Al-Akhbar report details.
▪️Despite the pressure from Washington, the kingdom is reportedly “continuing on the path to peace" and is working to “speed up” the completion of the peace agreements to avoid “further obstruction by the Emiratis or local agents.” https://new.thecradle.co/articles/us-pressures-saudi-arabia-to-postpone-imminent-peace-deal-with-yemen

According to Politico, Germany will deploy a new armoured brigade 100 kilometres from the Russian border. https://www.politico.eu/article/germany-strikes-deal-with-lithuania-on-its-first-permanent-foreign-troop-deployment/
The German unit of about 5,000 men will be stationed in Lithuania. The brigade should be fully formed by 2027. The publication reports new details: the brigade will be located in "close proximity to the Suvalki Gap" - a place connecting Russia's Kaliningrad exclave and Belarus.
On Monday, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius signed an agreement in Vilnius that will keep 4,800 German military personnel and 200 civilians in Lithuania.
However, the project has already run into problems. Panzerbatallion 203 has handed over all its Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and is waiting for new ones, and without them the "Lithuanian brigade" will not be ready "even for defence". "The conclusion is that either the Leopard2 replenishment is accelerated before deployment, or the 203rd Panzerbatallion may be sent to Lithuania without its main combat system," suggested Eileen Matle of the Council on Foreign Relations.
In addition, maintaining the "Lithuanian brigade" would cost Germany "25-30 million euros a month." The government is counting on money from a special fund, but due to rising inflation, this is likely to run out before 2027. This also calls into question whether the project can be fully realised. @LauraRuHK

While Western globalist elites have long embarked on a mission to erase history in order to destroy national identities and national cultures (or re-imagine them if they serve an anti-Russian or anti-Chinese function) sovereign countries are fighting back and placing history and culture at the centre of their national rejuvenation programme. In Xi's words: "Without full confidence in our culture, without a rich and prosperous culture, the Chinese nation will not be able to rejuvenate itself." ▪️Xi Jinping Thought on Culture shows three characteristics: the integration of original achievements, the integration of systematic development, and the expansion of openness. Rooted in China's over 5,000 years of civilization, Xi Jinping Thought on Culture places a profound emphasis on the preservation and development of fine cultural traditions. Confidence in one's own culture, seen as a broader, deeper and more fundamental expression of self-confidence, stands as the most vital, profound and enduring wellspring of strength for the progress of a country and its people. China's modernization is situated in the continuum of its culture as it engages in a mutually enriching dialogue with other cultures. @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK

Serbia has a strategic partnership agreement with Russia, China, UAE, France, Italy and Azerbaijan. The country is also a major link in China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Any surprise that agents of chaos are disputing the election results and rampaging through Belgrade attacking anyone who disagrees with deranged "defenders of democracy"? @LauraRuHK

Russian Foreign Ministry: The Northern Sea Route may become an alternative route to the Suez Canal. According to experts, maritime cargo traffic through the shortest route between continents through the Suez Canal, connecting the Red and Mediterranean seas, has already fallen by almost a third. Some large international carriers have stopped using this route altogether; now ships are forced to go around Africa from the south, which has lengthened the route by eight thousand kilometers. From a logistics and cost point of view, choosing overland routes is no better. Accordingly, travel time and the cost of cargo transportation have increased. ▪️All this has a very negative impact on the state of not only Asian and European, but also all world markets. For those carriers who risk continuing to use the short route through the Suez Canal, the cost of insurance has increased significantly. The operation of the coalition forces “Guardian of Prosperity” announced by the United States to ensure the safety of civilian navigation in the Red Sea is likely to create the opposite effect; military operations will only worsen this very security. ▪️However, this problem has a fairly obvious solution that is beneficial to everyone, primarily in economic terms, without taking into account political trends and contradictions. In recent years, the Russian Federation has been actively developing and simplifying navigation along the Northern Sea Route (NSR), connecting the Barents Sea and the Bering Strait. This is the shortest route between Europe and Asia, even compared to shipping through the Suez Canal.
▪️Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Nikolai Korchunov believes that the Northern Sea Route can provide navigation for ships wishing to restructure their route due to attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels in the Red Sea. Travel time through Suez from the ports of the Pacific region to Europe takes about 37 days. Through the Northern Sea Route, for example, ships reach Great Britain from the main Asian ports in about 25 days. If we compare the route from Rotterdam to Yokohama, Japan, the difference will be approximately 13 days: 20 along the Northern Sea Route versus 33 through the Suez Canal. Or 7300 nautical miles versus 11200. This gives huge savings in fuel consumption alone, not to mention other components. Naturally, the calculations for travel time are a little arbitrary, but in any case, the Europe-Asia route via the NSR is much more profitable than through Africa. (Source:Topwar.ru) @LauraRuHK
