Ukraine Plotting False Flag With Chemical Weapons, Warns Russian Foreign Ministry - Russian officials have documented at least 23 cases in which Ukraine has used arms that contain toxic substances. Under international law, using chemical weapons is deemed a war crime.
Moscow believes that Ukraine may be cooking up an “anti-Russian false flag operation with the use of Western-made poisonous substances” with the aim of pinning the blame on Moscow for the usage of such chemical weapons, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova cautioned.
“Quite possibly, another anti-Russian provocation is being set up employing Western-made poisonous substances in order to launch a new campaign within the UN's structures and throughout the global media to accuse our country of the allegedly deliberate use of chemical weapons,” she warned.

Earlier, Sputnik reported that Russia had sent 23 notes to the secretariat of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) concerning Ukraine's use of toxic substances as chemical weapons. However, the OPCW was reluctant to send any of its experts to the special military operation zone.
In August, a high-ranking Russian military doctor said that the Kiev regime had used shells containing white phosphorous in Zaporozhye. This toxic substance causes severe burns and acute poisoning, as well as tissue necrosis. Moscow believes that Western countries are supplying Ukraine with such noxious chemicals.

Some Western Countries Say Netanyahu's 'End' Is Near - Erdogan's Chief Adviser - Several Western countries say "the end" for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is near since "the world has already seen" the Jewish state's "brutality" in actions in the Gaza Strip, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Chief Adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic said Wednesday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Erdogan criticized Netanyahu and once again compared him with Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler. The Israeli prime minister, for his part, stated that Erdogan, who "is committing genocide against the Kurds and who holds the world record for imprisoning journalists who oppose his regime, is the last person who can preach morality to us."
"Netanyahu made a statement today about our president. You are ruthlessly and indiscriminately dropping bombs on people. Some circles do not want to understand the scale of the catastrophe when we talk about genocide. Our president spoke loudly about this in Germany and Greece. While many European capitals remained silent, our president demonstrated his position. Netanyahu is trying to wash the blood off his hands. But the world has already seen it. A permanent ceasefire and peace will only come when peace comes to Gaza. Israel is brutal, its policies are brutality. How can you explain bombs being dropped on children being treated for cancer? Many Western countries say this is the end of the road for Netanyahu," Kilic stressed in an interview with Turkish broadcaster TRT Haber. Additionally, the head of the communications department in the Turkish presidential administration, Fahrettin Altun, emphasized that the Israeli prime minister is "the last person to talk about anything related to genocide."
"The Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is the last person to talk about anything related to genocide. He has mastered skills to sell the world, his war crimes against civilians as self-defense. Even though the world fails to stop him, the history will judge him as the war criminal he is... Netanyahu is the last person to talk about our struggle against terrorism," Altun said on X.

Altun also highlighted that Netanyahu is "the last person to talk about morality," adding that he "cannot lecture anyone about how to conduct counter-terrorism operations because he has no experience in this arena!" The Turkish communications chief further said that the Israeli prime minister "has been on a mission to drive Palestinians out of their lands for the last four decades" and that he has not taken it "to a new level by using the Israeli army to kill civilians in their homes, hospitals and refugee camps."
"Netanyahu’s desperate attempts to save his political career by killing civilians and expanding the war are doomed to fail. Our President Erdoğan has called it for what it is and he will not stop fighting for justice no matter how many lies Netanyahu tells the world. We call on the international community, once again, to unite around our efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire and negotiations to bring about lasting peace. Last week, Erdogan suggested that the Israeli war on Gaza would end with Netanyahu's ouster from power, adding that "his leaving office will not save him" and that Ankara will "persecute him legally," as well as all those responsible for killings in Gaza. Erdogan also expressed hope that "Israel's cabinet reshuffle will put an end to this bloodshed."
The Turkish president has repeatedly criticized Netanyahu since the offset of the Palestine-Israel conflict in the region on October 7, calling him a "murderer" and "executioner" and saying that the Israeli prime minister launched a genocide in the Gaza Strip to prolong his political career and evade legal proceedings launched against him in Israel. The North-South transport corridor – of which Russia and India are members – doesn’t need a second breath because the project “has already been revitalized as it attracts active attention from all the countries involved,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Sputnik on Wednesday.

The remarks came after Lavrov’s talks with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Moscow earlier in the day, negotiations that focused on an array of pressing issues related to bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

Both diplomats confirmed the high level of the Moscow-New Delhi partnership, with the Russian foreign minister touting the relations as a “specially privileged” one.

“I’m...refusing to take part in the war in Gaza... slaughter”

Israeli teenager Tal Mitnick has been sentenced to 30 days in a military prison for refusing to be drafted into the army in protest of Israel’s onslaught on Palestine’s Gaza.

The teen is the first Israeli to be imprisoned over opposition to the Gaza war since the outbreak of the conflict on October 7.

The US has proposed that working groups from G7 countries explore ways to seize $300 billion in frozen Russian assets, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

The US is desperately trying to find "legal" ways to steal Russian assets that have been frozen in the West, but being scared of the inevitable repercussions, is calling on other countries to take the first step.

Russian analyst Elena Panina pointed out that the illegality of what is being proposed is obvious and that's why those involved in the "brainstorming" have vowed to keep the discussion secret. What should Russia do? Work out its own counter-measures. Not only financial and economic measures concerning foreign assets but also hybrid and asymmetric ones.

Negli ultimi giorni ho ricevuto vari messaggi da persone iscritte al canale che mi chiedono spiegazioni su quanto ho pubblicato in merito alle proteste di Belgrado. Alcuni rifiutano di considerarle un tentativo di rivoluzione colorata in quanto conoscono singoli attivisti o gruppi che vi hanno preso parte e giurano sulla loro buona fede. Avendo esperienza diretta delle rivoluzioni colorate e avendo letto e scritto molto su questo argomento, in particolare su quanto avvenuto in Ucraina e a Hong Kong, posso dire che gran parte degli attivisti che vi prendono parte sono animati da ideali di giustizia e vogliono abbattere un sistema che reputano corrotto. Un po' come durante l'Operazione Mani Pulite che ha decimato la classe politica italiana della prima repubblica per sostituirla con una qualitativamente peggiore e ancor piu' telecomandata. Il problema e' che i burattinai che sfruttano il malcontento popolare per destabilizzare paesi, rovesciare governi la cui politica estera non e' in linea con i loro desiderata, hanno obiettivi ben diversi da quelli dichiarati dagli attivisti nelle piazze. Per rovesciare un governo finanziano e appoggiano gruppi, partiti e organizzazioni ideologicamente distanti tra di loro, di destra e di sinistra, ultra-progressisti e ultra-conservatori, europeisti e ultra-nazionalisti. Questo infatti e' il fronte che contesta il risultato elettorale in Serbia. Conosco il paese da anni e non e' mai stata mia intenzione tessere le lodi di Vučić, leader ambiguo e poco amato che ha creato un suo feudo di potere sfruttando la contrapposizione tra gli interessi dell'Occidente da un lato e gli interessi russo-cinesi dall'altro, senza disdegnare quelli degli emiri. Il problema e' che se Vučić cade, il paese sprofonda in una situazione di caos totale e in quella circostanza a trarre il maggiore vantaggio sarebbero proprio le forze filo-occidentali in quanto finanziate e controllate direttamente e indirettamente dai servizi anglo-americani, tedeschi e francesi. Occorre considerare i rapporti di forza esistenti, non quelli che si vorrebbero ma che al momento non ci sono.
Quindi per puro realismo politico credo che Vučić sia il male minore, opinione condivisa anche da chi ha votato in massa per la sua coalizione di governo. @LauraRuHK
