And now it will be impossible for Tucker Carlson to interview Zelensky 😏 Ukrainian website Myrotvorets added him to its infamous kill list. @LauraRuHK

Meanwhile in the IV Reich...EUnuchs are having an apoplectic reaction to Tucker's interview with Putin. Guy Verhofstadt, former Belgian Prime Minister and current member of the European Parliament, told Newsweek he has called for the EU to explore imposing a travel ban on Tucker Carlson: "As Putin is a war criminal and the EU sanctions all who assist him in that effort, it seems logical that the External Action Service examine his case as well." ▪️The mental strain of coming up with 13 packages of boomerang sanctions on Russia has definitely taken a toll on European lawmakers. 🤣 @LauraRuHK

Irony and sarcasm are forms of speech that are still too sophisticated for algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. But apparently their detection has become a challenge even for many humans. If people can no longer recognize irony and sarcasm in everyday communication, then we have a problem. The inability to comprehend irony suggests a dangerous deterioration of social skills, as it is typically found among those who suffer from autism or are trapped in a pathological form of egocentrism. When a person can't assume the hearer’s perspective, see the incongruence between the context and the statement, recognize ironic markers (meta-communicative cues) that a comment should not be interpreted literally, what makes that person different from an AI bot, at least on the Internet? This degradation of social skills goes hand in hand with the general degradation of cognitive abilities such as abstract thinking. Without these skills human beings cannot derive meaning, interpret symbols, make inferences, recognize patterns, engage in metaphorical and symbolic reasoning. In short, many people are losing exactly what sets them apart from machines and machines can now effectively replace them. @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK

Early morning in Hong Kong, i started watching the interview and realized that 20 million people had already done so. By the time i finished watching it, that number had doubled. And it keeps growing...it's an avalanche and is destroying and burying the lies that Western governments and mainstream media have painstakingly manufactured. @LauraRuHK

Tucker Carlson met with Edward Snowden in Moscow
Carlson managed to talk with Snowden and Tara Reade, who accused Biden of harassment.
“Tucker Carlson has a busy agenda in Moscow: he met with two key American figures living in exile there. Carlson spoke with Edward Snowden for several hours. Snowden's interview was not intended for Carlson's program.
Additionally, Tucker Carlson recorded an interview with Tara Reade, a former junior Senate aide who accused President Joe Biden of sexual assault (an allegation he has denied). Reed moved to Russia last year after becoming increasingly vocal in support of pro-Russian policies for several years.”

On Thursday Zelensky confirmed that Zaluzhny has been dismissed, and announced that he would be replaced as commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces by Colonel-General Aleksander Syrsky, an officer who has served as commander of Ukraine's Ground Forces since 2019. Syrskyi is close to the president, but reportedly disliked by Ukrainian troops. The most important thing for Zelensky is that he thinks that Syrsky is absolutely not a political person and therefore wouldn't challenge his hold on power. Syrsky is infamous for feeding the meat grinder and sacrificing a large number of his troops in pointless resistance after they had been encircled.
Syrskyi, who is 58, was born in Russia, not far from Moscow, and graduated from the prestigious Moscow Higher Military Command School.
The Readovka Telegram channel reports that in fact, Syrsky’s parents and brother still live in Russia, and his father is a retired colonel of the Russian army.
Before the start of the war, Syrsky’s parents were active on social networks. There are posts of them attending the march of the “Immortal Regiment” in 2019, where they stand with St. George’s ribbons. But that shouldn't come as a surprise: Ukraine and Russia have been one country for centuries. @LauraRuHK

The interview that is smashing all records ended on this note about Ukraine and Russia: "Everyone in the West thinks that the Russian people have been split by hostilities forever. No. They will be reunited. The unity is still there. Why are the Ukrainian authorities dismantling the Ukrainian Orthodox Church? Because it brings together not only the territory, it brings together our souls. No one will be able to separate the soul." ▪️Putin's message is crystal clear: Russia will not give up on Ukraine. ▪️ If you want to read the full interview, history lesson included, rather than watch the video, here is the official transcript. @LauraRuHK http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/73411

Now, after nearly four months of catastrophic war, Israel’s assault on Gaza has awakened a pan-Islamic front encompassing Sunni Arab publics, who overwhelmingly oppose Arab normalization, and the militant Shiite groups that constitute the core of Iran’s resistance forces. For the United States and its partners, this development poses a strategic challenge that goes far beyond countering Iraqi militias and the Houthis with targeted strikes. By bringing together a long-divided region, the war in Gaza threatens to further undermine U.S. influence and, in the long run, could make numerous U.S. military missions untenable. This new unity also raises significant obstacles to any U.S.-led efforts to impose a top-down peace deal that excludes Palestinian Islamists.

Pakistan is going to be rocked by mass protests - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan’s party, has defied a military-led crackdown and widespread rigging to win the most seats in Pakistan’s election. However, Nawaz Sharif, who is supported by the military and has the backing of the US, claimed he would form a coalition government.

I received a message from an angry subscriber who claimed i had "promoted a Sinophobic, right-wing imperialist whose father worked for Voice of America." Apparently writing about Tucker Carlson's interview with Vladimir Putin is tantamount to "promoting" him. Go figure. I suspect he didn't even watch the interview otherwise he would have realized that any attempt to portray China as a threat was quickly foiled by Putin. My reply? I simply quoted Deng Xiaoping "It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice." Maybe i should have asked this reader if he could name an American media personality of his liking whose interview with the Russian president would be watched by nearly 200 million people. Just for future reference 😏 PS. I am allergic to holier-than-thou, whiter-than-white self-professed guardians of political purity. They are insufferable bores who live in an echo chamber and can only preach to the converted. @LauraRuHK

Vai a capire. 😏 @LauraRuHK
