Pakistan is going to be rocked by mass protests - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan’s party, has defied a military-led crackdown and widespread rigging to win the most seats in Pakistan’s election. However, Nawaz Sharif, who is supported by the military and has the backing of the US, claimed he would form a coalition government.

I received a message from an angry subscriber who claimed i had "promoted a Sinophobic, right-wing imperialist whose father worked for Voice of America." Apparently writing about Tucker Carlson's interview with Vladimir Putin is tantamount to "promoting" him. Go figure. I suspect he didn't even watch the interview otherwise he would have realized that any attempt to portray China as a threat was quickly foiled by Putin. My reply? I simply quoted Deng Xiaoping "It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice." Maybe i should have asked this reader if he could name an American media personality of his liking whose interview with the Russian president would be watched by nearly 200 million people. Just for future reference 😏 PS. I am allergic to holier-than-thou, whiter-than-white self-professed guardians of political purity. They are insufferable bores who live in an echo chamber and can only preach to the converted. @LauraRuHK

Vai a capire.

Venivano accolti in amicizia, senza odio. @LauraRuHK

Drugs for Western Pharma Firms Allegedly Tested on Mariupol Psychiatric Patients for Years — Rheumatological drugs had been allegedly tested for several years on patients of the Mariupol hospital's psychiatric ward at the request of major Western pharmaceutical companies and with the assistance of Ukrainian officials, according to documents seen by Sputnik.
These documents were discovered by builders in the basement of hospital No. 7 in Mariupol during its restoration.
The documents belonged to the psychiatric ward of the hospital and were drafted in 2008-2016. According to the initial inspection of the documents, it can be seen that certain drugs with numbers and without proper titles were tested on humans.
The primary purpose of the research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug in relation to the proportion of patients who achieved the response according to the criteria of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR).
Such companies like Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Celltrion, Novatris International AG, IQVIA, Sanofi, Galapagos NV, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, AbbottLaboratories, Covance, Merck KGaA, CentocorBiopharmaceutical and a branch of Samsung that produces medical equipment were mentioned in the documents.
In addition, boxes containing many ready-made envelopes from logistics companies and containers for biomaterial with recipient addresses of laboratories in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States were found on the site of the hospital. (Source: Sputnik) @LauraRuHK

I was criticized by a self-appointed Red Guard for writing about Tucker Carlson's interview with Putin. He accused me of "promoting a Sinophobic American imperialist" etc. https://t.me/LauraRuHK/7665 ▪️Chinese media actually devoted more air time to the interview than this zealot can even imagine. I think he should offer his apologies, but i am sure he won't. All the remarks of the Russian president were noted in China and found to be absolutely correct. Moreover, according to the press organ of the CPC Central Committee, Putin's statements, "based on an objective, deep and accurate understanding of Chinese diplomacy," help correct the West's biased understanding of China and ease the concern of Western societies about its peaceful development.
"Analysts welcomed Putin's remarks, as they objectively demonstrate the nature of China's diplomatic desire for peace and stability," the Global Times writes. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202402/1306963.shtml

In G7 countries mainstream media and political leaders are still trying to scare citizens with the "Russian threat", but as fewer people trust them this tactic is no longer working. RIA Novosti, citing a survey conducted as part of the Munich Security Index 2024, reports that only the citizens of the UK (!) and Japan still consider Russia to be their main threat. Canadians fear Russia less than extreme weather and the destruction of natural habitats, US citizens fear cyberattacks, political polarization, China and then Russia. The French now see Russia as the 6th greatest concern. It is the 7th in Germany (it was the first in 2022-23) and only the 12th in Italy. @LauraRuHK https://securityconference.org/assets/01_Bilder_Inhalte/03_Medien/02_Publikationen/2024/MSR_2024/MunichSecurityIndex2024.pdf

The US and Britain are trying to convince other G7 countries to create the post of "special envoy" for Ukraine and appoint Stoltenberg 🤣
According to Sergey Naryshkin, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, this appointee will have permanent access to Zelensky, he will also block the steps of the Ukrainian leadership that are not coordinated with the US and Britain, .
It is unlikely that the appointment of a special envoy will lead to the desired results. Whoever fills this position will have to "stay afloat in the Kiev swamp of mutual hatred, intrigues, deception, flattery and betrayal".
The West takes into account that many Ukrainians have begun to realize the inevitability of Russia achieving the goals of the special military operation, Naryshkin emphasized. In this regard, the US and Britain began to fear betrayal on the part of representatives of the Kiev elite, who may try to "play ahead of the curve" by switching to the side of the future winners in advance. Such fears are quite justified, Naryshkin concluded. (Source: RIA Novosti) @LauraRuHK
