India slaps down the West’s Navalny hysteria
🇮🇳 🇷🇺 India is standing by its close relationship with Russia, and Moscow will remain New Delhi's close ally, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesman Jaiveer Shergill said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, while responding to a provocative question from Western media.
▪️ Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry lambasted Western politicians for seeking to pin Navalny’s death on Russia despite lacking any evidence whatsoever. The ministry also noted that it was bizarre that the US Biden administration seemed far more concerned about Navalny than Gonzalo Lira, an American citizen who died last month from torture and medical neglect in a Ukrainian dungeon.

“Russia, I will reiterate India’s stand, was, is and will remain India’s strong friend and ally”, Shergill said in response to a question on how New Delhi “will deal” with Moscow following reports of Alexei Navalny’s death. “As a nation, Russia has supported India, and India, in turn, has supported Russia.”

@LauraRuHK

Integrity Initiative, a covert British intelligence information warfare operation, was pivotal to perpetuating the narrative of Julian as Kremlin asset. This sordid tale reveals just how flimsy Western propaganda campaigns are concocted and then disseminated through compliant media. Now, with Julian facing extradition to the US, it has never been more urgent to expose it. The Initiative’s Spanish cluster was particularly instrumental in this regard. The largest and most influential of any Initiative cluster outside the UK, its ranks include a number of prominent journalists, academics, think tank representatives, lawmakers from several parties, government ministers, and military officials. https://www.kitklarenberg.com/p/how-british-intelligence-framed-julian-088/comments

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will not apologize to Israel after comparing the Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip to the crimes of Adolf Hitler, said Celso Amorim, the president’s envoy for foreign affairs.
"We have always treated each other with great respect and defended the idea of a two-state solution, but there is nothing to apologize for. Israel is putting itself in the conditions of increasing isolation," CNN Brasil quoted him as saying.
Lula da Silva said on February 18 that the massacres of civilians resulting from Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip could be compared to Hitler's crimes against the Jews. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement the same day, calling the remarks shameful. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been declared persona non grata in the Jewish state until he apologizes.

Karma is a bitch. You can run but you cannot hide Maxim Kuzminov, a Russian pilot who killed his two crew members in order to hand over his Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in return for money, was found dead in an underground garage in Spain last week, his body riddled with bullets.
Spain's state news agency EFE reported that a body found on Feb 13 in the town of Villajoyosa, near Alicante in southern Spain, belonged to Kuzminov. He had been living in Spain with a Ukrainian passport under a different name, it said. A spokesperson for Ukraine's GUR military intelligence confirmed to Reuters that Kuzminov had died in Spain, but did not specify the cause of death. On Monday, the news site Ukrainska Pravda quoted Ukraine’s military intelligence stating that Kuzminov had “decided to move to Spain… invited his ex to his place and was found shot.” @LauraRuHK

"We are very glad that you came!"
Russian servicemen talked with residents of liberated Avdeevka who after the arrival of Russian troops can now move safely in their city.
The residents who remained in Avdeevka say that after the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were able to get out of basements and fetch water, which is in short supply in the city.
"It was very scary. We live in basements, our building was destroyed. Previously, we could go out on in search of water only during rare pauses in fighting, we had to crouch," says local resident Tatiana. "And the day before yesterday we went out, saw soldiers, at first we didn't understand who they were. And then I looked at the red ribbons, we couldn't believe our eyes. We are very glad that you came, very glad!" she says.
Residents of Avdeevka note that due to the rapid advance of Russian units, Ukrainian soldiers did not have time to blow up most of the surviving buildings and some infrastructure facilities remained intact. @LauraRuHK. (Source: Russian Ministry of Defense) https://t.me/mod_russia/35813

In 2023 Russian manufacturers of refrigerators, washing machines and other white goods doubled and even tripled their revenue. It must be because, as Madame Ursula informed us, the Russian military stripped all home appliances of their microchips forcing people to replace them. 😏 A friend writes: "When Shoigu comes over for dinner he always carries a screwdriver. He seems more interested in our dishwasher than in the dishes i prepare. Such is life in Russia. We have to keep buying new appliances." @LauraRuHK

The London High Court has started a two-day hearing of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s final appeal against his extradition to the United States where he faces up to 175 years in jail for exposing US crimes.
People and reporters have gathered outside the building of the High Court.
Assange will not attend the hearing because is feeling unwell. He has been kept in solitary confinement in London's high security Belmarsh prison since 2019. The terrible conditions of his detention have undermined both his mental and physical health and can only be described as torture. @LauraRuHK

🇷🇺 You're Vladimir Putin.
You've just given a Global, Billion view interview,
You've destroyed the Propaganda of your detractors,
Your popularity is 80% in the polls at home,
Your enemies in Ukraine are facing internal collapse,
Your proxies funders are losing interest,
Your Army is about to win Victory in Avdeevka,
Your enemies have failed to undermine your Economy,
Your allies are firmly behind you, BRICS is growing,
Your about to be re elected in the upcoming contest.
So what do you do?
Kill a politically irrelevant, marginalised and long forgotten (by the Western Client Media) Western funded stooge ( making sure to use a uniquely traceable Russian poison while doing it) all in an effort to to hand the failing West a reason to activate their vast client propaganda media to deflect for all of the above recent successes?
Anyone in the West who believes this utterly insane fantasy needs to consider how desperate the Western powers, who are set to lose so much in Ukraine, are to inflict any kind of damage, at any price, on Russia, there's a name for this.
Utter Desperation

<This sense of no longer being able to control events and the fear this has engendered have bred a sense of impotence among the European elites – a sort of ‘deer frozen in the headlights’ paralysis – with Germany at the vanguard of this. No longer confident that their actions can produce certain desirable outcomes, the elites have shed their sophisticated modern veneer and technocratic sensibility and retreated into symbolism and superstition. As hard economic realities lay bare the futility of its utopian energy plan and the consequences of numerous terrible decisions mount, Germany is experiencing what Swedish essayist Malcom Kyeyune calls “narrative collapse.” The peculiar offspring of this, Kyeyune argues, is a turn toward ritual, superstition, and taboo. It is a malaise afflicting the entire West, but Germany is suffering a particularly acute case.
Kyeyune defines this as an occurrence “when social and political circumstances change too rapidly for people to keep up, the result tends to be collective manias, social panics, and pseudo-religious revivalist millenarianism.”
The abandonment of reason can be conceived of in various ways. Quite a lot of ink has already been spilled about the irrationality behind Germany’s fantastically improbable climate policy. Indeed, the quasi-religious verve with which this program has been rolled out speaks to something of a loosening of the country's moorings. But as we will see shortly, the problem goes far beyond an attachment to unattainable policy goals.
Prominent German business executive Wolfgang Reitzle argued that for the government to deliver on its climate and energy policy, capacities for wind and solar power would have to be more than quadrupled, while storage and back-up capacities would have to be massively increased. Such a plan is “neither technically feasible nor affordable for a country like Germany,” Reitzle argues. What it is then, he concludes, “is simply insanity.” > https://swentr.site/business/592562-germany-economy-industry-decline/

▪️Yesterday the US vetoed (for the third time!) a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. 13 nations in the 15-member Security Council favored the Algerian-drafted resolution, Washington was the sole country to vote no, while Britain abstained. ▪️Today CNN dropped a very damaging bombshell by revealing that Israeli forces fired on a United Nations convoy. The trucks were carrying vital food supplies in central Gaza on February 5.
According to CNN, correspondence between the UN and the Israeli military shows that the convoy’s route was agreed upon by both parties prior to the strike. An internal incident report compiled by UNRWA, the main UN relief agency in Gaza, reveals that the truck was one of 10 in a convoy sitting stationary at an IDF holding point when it was fired upon. ▪️Even CNN, one of the staunchest supporters of the Biden administration, has a hard time whitewashing the genocide and occasionally has to report the truth in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. @LauraRuHK https://edition.cnn.com/2024/02/21/middleeast/un-food-convoy-gaza-israel-strike-cmd-intl/index.html
