The “Summit for Democracy”currently being held in South Korea is a farcical show of American arrogance and hypocrisy designed to mask the decay at the heart of the world’s self-proclaimed bastion of freedom and democracy. These sessions though are particularly interesting if you want to understand how deeply integrated Big Tech and Deep State are and the revolving door system. If you look at the speakers' background you will see what i mean. As to the "defence of democracy", this is just a code word for operations aimed at propping up the crumbling US hegemony and undermining sovereign countries. @LauraRuHK

US-funded NGOs and lobbyists are going ballistic and calling for....sanctions, of course! ▪️The Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has just passed the safeguarding national security bill, a milestone by the HKSAR in fulfilling its constitutional duty as stipulated under Article 23 of the HKSAR Basic Law. ▪️Hong Kong has finally plugged all the legal loopholes that allowed foreign forces and fifth columnists to sow chaos and eventually turn the city into a battleground in 2019-20. They exploited legitimate grievances to deepen rifts in society, spread hatred and lies in order to achieve the sort of hysterical polarization they hoped would make Hong Kong ungovernable. @LauraRuHK

"It’s no longer so much about recruiting new soldiers as it is about persuading existing troops not to quit.
This week, French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu presented a talent retention plan to incentivize military personnel to remain in uniform.
That comes a few days after an annual report submitted to the German parliament showed that in 2023, some 1,537 soldiers left the Bundeswehr, reducing it to 181,514 personnel. The Bundestag’s special commissioner for the armed forces, Eva Högl, has said that reinstating some form of conscription is one way to turn things around, but targeting women is a more obvious move to arrest the decline since potential there is far from exhausted, the lawmaker wrote." ▪️I guess the prospect of dying for Uncle Sam and his European lapdogs isn't very appealing. Regardless of your gender. @LauraRuHK

📍 Even as China and Russia are closing the gap on U.S. military spending, American taxpayers continue to pay for the largest war machine in history.

Mauricio Metri: " The energy that feeds the United States machine of violence in different parts of the world (such as the militarization in the South China Sea, the hot war in Ukraine, or even the genocide in Gaza) comes from a leading source of supply: the disproportionate financing and spending capacity of the United States, derived from the position of its currency in the global monetary hierarchy and the way the international economic system has been in operation since the end of the Cold War. In this way, the world, by continuing to absorb, without apparent limit, American public debt bonds, finances the violence perpetrated by Washington, however contradictory that may seem.
Therefore, the de-dollarization of the international system has become a “silver bullet” to dismantle an essential part of this war machine without military confrontation. For this reason, de-dollarization is urgent not only as a first-order geopolitical objective for the so-called Global South but also as an ethical and humanitarian imperative against the barbaric invasions of the West." https://strategic-culture.su/news/2024/03/20/silver-bullet-against-barbarian-invasions-of-west-de-dollarization-of-international-system/

🇷🇺 Russian President Vladimir Putin requested that Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board, explore options for collaborative efforts between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and the BRICS association.

"Russia is chairing BRICS this year," noted President Putin during his meeting with Sagintayev. "Our other countries (EAEU) are not members of the association, but there are significant opportunities, especially considering the plans of our Chinese friends – 'One Belt, One Road.' We have always said that these projects are compatible – our Eurasian development and Chinese ideas. The BRICS leaders are coming to Kazan. I earnestly request that you work with your Russian colleagues on how we could involve the economies of our association's other countries in joint efforts with the BRICS countries. There could be many joint projects and areas for development in general."

The Zionist lobby goes after anyone who dares to break ranks. Like the Mafia. ▪️Yesterday Irish PM Leo Varadkar resigned. He announced his resignation after visiting Washington on March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) and meeting Biden. ▪️Interestingly, there is no mention of the war in Gaza in the statement released by the White House despite the fact that it was certainly a point of contention in their meeting. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/03/17/readout-of-president-joe-bidens-meeting-with-taoiseach-leo-varadkar-of-ireland/ This glaring omission would suggest that Varadkar was blackmailed in Washington and stepped down to avoid consequences. ▪️As a globalist tool, he will probably land on his feet, maybe in some international organization where he won't be in a position to step on the wrong toes. @LauraRuHK

Our new documentary, 'Inventing Ukraine', is about the creation of an entire anti-Russian state by the West. Historians believe that back in the 16th century, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth began to form the nationalist project of 'Ukraine'. It was promoted in different periods by Austria-Hungary, the Third Reich and the United States.
What methods did these states use to force the native Russian people to abandon their roots? When did the first Ukrainian nationalists appear? And how did the West use them to weaken the USSR, and then Russia? Find out in our new film.

Here is how this corrupt scheme works. Wealth transfer from European citizens to weapon manufacturers because we all know that Ukraine will never be able to pay for the weapons it receives. ▪️France lists the ways in which the EU needs to step up funding, including through the issuing of joint debt ― an echo of the controversial tool it used to finance its post-Covid recovery programs and which several of the bloc's leading figures said would be a one-off. ...but will the EU ever let the Chinese build the tunnel? I suspect it's a classic "bait and switch". And of course the bait is poisonous because it's used to put pressure on Beijing to distance itself from Moscow. @LauraRuHK

@LauraRuHK

🇨🇳🇷🇺"In order to realize the immense potential of the partnership that is shaping the multipolar world order, public support and people-to-people relations are crucial. A welcome step in this direction is the designation of 2024-25 as Russian-Chinese Years of Culture.
The two-year project of cultural exchanges will kick off in May with a concert – Chinese and Russian folk-instrument orchestras will play together weaving threads of their traditions into one musical tapestry: a fitting metaphor for the kind of relations the two countries are developing. Cultural exchanges aim to foster a deeper and more nuanced understanding of each other’s social identities, values, aspirations and traditions, allowing social perceptions to reflect the present reality rather than be clouded by outdated stereotypes and misconceptions. Cultural cooperation, on the other hand, is a strategic concept: people work together to promote common interests or achieve common goals.
It will be exciting to follow and review the progress of Sino-Russian cultural relations in the next two years and see how they move to the cooperation level, but before the official program starts it might be useful to take stock of the past and present state of affairs, and indulge in a few reflections along the way." ▪️The wait is over. My latest article has been published. It's long. Very long. You'd better sit comfortably, pour yourself a drink and then start reading. Slowly. 😏 @LauraRuHK https://strategic-culture.su/news/2024/03/21/china-and-russia-are-taking-cultural-relations-to-next-level/
