## Job Description

We are looking for a technically competent and commercially oriented Lighting Designer with procurement knowledge and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of architectural lighting, decorative lighting, lighting control systems, lighting calculations, and international lighting brands, along with experience in sourcing products and supporting procurement activities.

### Key Responsibilities
- Source architectural and decorative lighting products from international manufacturers and suppliers.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets, and negotiate competitive prices.
- Review lighting specifications, technical datasheets, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Recommend suitable luminaires based on technical performance, quality, aesthetics, and cost.
- Perform lighting calculations and assess illumination levels in accordance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and estimation teams to ensure technical compliance and timely procurement.
- Monitor purchase orders, material availability, and delivery schedules.

### Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
- Knowledge of leading international architectural and decorative lighting brands and manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of lighting calculations, illumination requirements, lighting control systems, and applicable lighting standards.
- Proficiency in DIALux or DIALux evo.
- Ability to interpret lighting specifications, product datasheets, and technical submittals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of lighting procurement, supplier sourcing, and quotation evaluation.

### Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: QAR 10,000–12,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Private medical insurance and other applicable benefits in accordance with Qatar Labour Law.
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
- Work Location: Lusail, Qatar.
- Working Hours: 8.5 hours per day, excluding lunch break.
- Working Days: 5 days per week.

* Manage tickets through to resolution and closure, keep users informed of progress, and issue outage notifications when requested.
* Continuously update the knowledge management database and FAQs with solutions, troubleshooting guidance, and information on recurring issues.
* Conduct user satisfaction surveys, report findings, and implement improvement plans based on feedback. Prepare reports covering ticket volumes, incident categories, open versus closed tickets, ticket aging, and SLA/KPI achievements.

*Qualification*
* University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
* Must have *ITIL Foundation certification* .
* Must have *Microsoft 365 certification.*

* Fluent in both *Arabic and English,* with strong written and verbal communication skills.
