💎 The Hadeeth 💎
Ayesha said:
‘The Prophet SallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam entered and heard the sound of a baby crying, so he said:
" ما لصبيكم هذا يبكي؟ فهلا استرقيتم له من العين؟ "
'Why is your baby crying? If you only had performed Ruqqaya upon him from the evil eye.'
[Collected by Ahmad & Al-Albaani said that this chain is Hasan in Silsilah Saheehah No. 1048]
From Ubayd bin Rafa’atul Zurqi, that Asma bint Umaays said: O Messenger of Allaah ! Indeed, the evil eye rushes to the son of Ja’far so should I recite upon them?’
He said:
نعم، فإنه لو كان شيء سابق القدر لسبقته العين
‘Yes, if there was something which could compete with al-Qadr, it would be the evil eye.’
[Collected by Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Ibn Adee & graded Hasan by Al-Albaani in Silsilah Saheehah No. 1252]

Ayesha said:
