- Evolution X on android 11 is under fast development to bring back features from android 10. Do not expect full feature set like that on android 10.

Notes and Known Issues
- Prebuilt official GoogleCamera has been removed intentionally because obviously it will not work for our device. Install any gcam you like that works on android 11. Do not use the Camera2 that comes with the ROM.
- Wireless Display can scan but may not connect successfully
- "OK Google" hot word does not work yet

Gapps, vendor, and firmware are included. Formatting data and clean flash are required.

PixelExperience 11.0: Official Polaris Beta Build 20201129-1522

PE recovery flash guide[Required]:
- Download PE recovery from the the polaris device page of official PE website
- Boot your phone into fastboot mode. You can either
* Hold power + volume down button
* or use the Reboot to bootloader option in TWRP/OrangeFox
- Connect your phone to a computer
- Run fastboot flash recovery pe_recovery_file_name.img in your cmd/powershell/terminal
- Hold power + volume up to boot into recovery

PE 11 ROM flash guide[Required]:
- Boot into PE recovery
- Select Factory reset" --> "Format data/factory reset
- Go back to main menu and select "Apply update" --> "Apply from ADB"
- Connect your phone to a computer
- Run adb sideload pe_rom_file_name.zip in your cmd/powershell/terminal and wait until it finishes
- Reboot to system

Note: Formatting and flashing with PE recovery is required for encryption to function properly. Once the phone is encrypted this way, TWRP/OrangeFox will not be able to decrypt with passcode. If you insist on using TWRP/OrangeFox, you can remove the lockscreen password later and boot into TWRP/OrangeFox.

* Polaris: Several LOS-18.0 bring-up adaptions (too long to post)

Known issues:
- Wireless display might be broken (not tested)
- Bluetooth A2DP
- In rare occasions Bluetooth audio streaming can cause buzzing (stop and play to fix it)

Installation:
- Mandatory clean flash
- Format data if coming from MIUI

Suggested firmware: V12.0.2.0
Gapps not included - Flamegapps basic suggested

Formatting data and clean flash are required if you come from android 10. Please do not update through OTA if you are on android 10.
Dirty flash or update through OTA is fine from the previous EvoX android 11 versions.

* silenced a log spam introduced by wmi ext2 bitmap support
* DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal
- Relaxed thermal throttling on SKIN type sensors
* default values from Pixel thermal configs are too aggressive
* frame drops in longer gaming sessions should be significantly improved
* also dropped unused thermal configs for crosshatch/blueline DEV/PROTO/EVT boards

- Reduced minimal screen brightness to the lowest possible value

- Fixed SELinux context for neuralnetworks hal
- Re-enabled audio custom policy flag and cleaned up flags during android 11 bringup period
- Addressed some SELinux denials on thermal hal and vendor_init

Evolution X Update
- December security patch (android-11.0.0_r20)
- Brought back Smart Charging support
- Evolver: option to choose screenshot delay
- Evolver: brought back option to launch default music player on headset connect
- Allow to hide arrow for back gesture
- Added Google Sans font overlay (you still need the Magisk module to actually install the font itself. Check Evolution X official telegram channel)
- Per app network isolation
- TypeClock: 24h format support
- Added Divided Lines clock
- A few more toggles and small tweak options

Notes and Known Issues
- "OK Google" hot word does not work

Clean flash guide:
- Install the latest custom recovery
- Format data
- After formatting data, you may have to reboot again to recovery
- Wipe system & data & cache & dalvik cache
- Install ROM
- Reboot
