Ibn Taymiyyah on Love |
When you love a person for the sake of Allāh, your love for them is rooted in your love for Allāh. You love them because of their faith, obedience, and closeness to Him. Remembering such a person reminds you of the obedience to Allāh that you love, and this strengthens your love for Allāh and your love for those who are beloved to Him.
In contrast, love that is based only on worldly benefit, such as what someone gives you, does for you, or how they make you feel, is connected to those benefits. When the benefit comes to an end, that love often weakens or disappears. The strongest and most lasting love is the love that is for the sake of Allāh.
Love is at the heart of worship. True worship is founded upon complete love of Allāh together with humility and submission to Him. It is from the creed of Ahl al Sunnah to love Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ more than anyone or anything else. Every other righteous love follows from this foundation.
The Prophet ﷺ informed us that among the seven who will be shaded by Allāh on the Day when there is no shade but His is "two people who loved one another for the sake of Allāh, meeting and parting upon that."
May Allāh make us among them. May He fill our hearts with love for Him and make His love and the love of His Messenger ﷺ the greatest love in our hearts. Āmīn. ✨

Intimacy is a major component of marriages. A Muslim, man or woman, cannot get it outside of wedlock as this is Zina. Hence, we should have principled focus on this. Sex is almost mechanical for men, it doesn't take much effort to be aroused and it even takes lesser effort to attain sexual gratification or satisfaction. It's not so for women or some women.
She needs to be emotionally positive with you before she allows you take her. And even after marriage when she has reasons for not being emotionally in tune with you, she won't be enjoying sex , even if she makes herself available. This availability also begins to dwindle as such emotional stressor continues.
When we share bed with our partner we need to understand that this is the closest we will get with a fellow human being , our body has odours , smells that we may not even be aware of. Take for instance , the beard smells if it's wet, has food particles in it , or even picks up odours you may be unaware of. And at times you are oblivious of this odour. Your partner will be aware. Our clothing too. Particularly our inner wears. For both spouses it is essential we take care of personal hygiene Particularly when your spouse is calling your attention to it.
It doesn't make any sense, if your partner tells you she wants you to touch her in a certain way ( which is not haram) and you flat out refuse. Or even doesn't want you to do it in a way. Again, s/he won't be getting this elsewhere. You're the only one especially in a monogamous relationship.
There's no reason to feel ego-bruised if your partner is telling you she hasn't derived the maximum satisfaction, it's rather a time for discussions on how to make it better. Ideally , sex improves with time in marriage, and there's always room for improvement, so you wont be needing any external support apart from the teo of you. The only time you need help will be if there are underlying medical or emotional reasons militating against intimacy.
Talk to your partner. Ask matured people. Consult a doctor if need be. A sexually unsatisfied partner is an angry partner. If Zina becomes an alternative because of sexual inadequacy, she can demand for a separation.
Do it properly.

How Surah Al-Baqarah Can Change Your Life‼️
There was a girl who kept receiving proposals. Many families visited. She was kind, practicing, and well-mannered.
Everyone praised her but after every visit, they’d reject her.Again and again. Over 20 times.
No one explained why. One day, after yet another rejection,
Her father gently asked the guest,
“Please, not to argue, just to understand. Why did you say no?”
The man was uncomfortable.
But finally, he said:“I don’t know how to explain this… but I kept smelling something strange. It wasn’t normal.”
No one else smelled anything.
Not her. Not her family.
The scent was real to him but it wasn’t physical.SubhanAllah.
Sometimes, we don’t know why life is stuck.
Your deen is strong
Your character is good
You’re doing everything “right”
And still nothing moves.
It’s not always laziness or qadr.
Sometimes, it’s a spiritual block. What did she do?
She turned to the one thing guaranteed to cleanse:
The Qur’an.
She began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah consistently.
Every day. No matter what.
And along with it:
– Ruqyah on herself
– Daily Istighfar
– Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ
– Morning & evening Adhkar
– Deep du’a, full of sincerity
And slowly… the invisible heaviness lifted.
Her path opened.
She got married. Some delays aren’t logical.
Some rejections aren’t personal.
Some barriers are spiritual and need spiritual tools.
Why Surah Al-Baqarah?
Because the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Recite Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing and leaving it is a regret.”
(Muslim)It protects from:
– Evil eye
– Black magic
– Jinn
– Depression
– Emotional blocks
– Stagnation
So if life feels blocked…Don’t panic. Don’t give up. Just begin.
Start with Surah Al-Baqarah.
Let Allah’s words shift what you cannot see.
Because nothing can stand in the way…
when He decides it’s your time.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said :
" If the heart loves Allaah alone and is sincerely devoted to Him, it will not even think of loving anyone else in the first place, let alone falling in love. When a heart falls in love, that is due to the lack of love for Allaah alone. Hence because Yoosuf loved Allaah and was sincerely devoted to Him, he did not fall into the trap of love, rather Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and illegal sexual intercourse. Surely, he was one of Our chosen, (guided) slaves”
[Yoosuf 12:24]
As for the wife of al-‘Azeez, she was a mushrik as were her people, hence she fell into this trap."

Men who marry for looks and women who marry for wealth are both equally robbed in the end.
Deen should be the first criterion in choosing a spouse; other factors can follow.

Why Is the Blood Money [Diyah, دية] for Women Half That of Men in Islamic Law?
Imam al-Shāfiʿī رحمه الله wrote in '𝘈𝘭-𝘜𝘮𝘮', (6/106):
قال الإمام الشافعي في كتابه "الأم" (6\ 106): «لم أعلم مخالفاً من أهل العلم –قديماً ولا حديثاً– في أن دية المرأة نصف دية الرجل».
"𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻."
According to the classical consensus of Muslim jurists, in cases of accidental killing, the prescribed compensation (diyah) is:
Man: 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀 🐪🐪
Woman: 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀 🐪
Does this mean a woman’s blood is cheaper and her life is worth less than a man's?
The answer is 𝗻𝗼.
This ruling concerns 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵.
The male and female are the same in the sight of God, the Diya (bloodmoney) is simply a financial compensation for the damage caused in worldly life.
The 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 of the family, when he falls, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, as his 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿, so his wife and family get a 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, the emotional impact is equally, if not more davastating, but 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀, because the main provider [the man] is still alive, so he gets a 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
This is absolutely fair and makes 100% sense.
The dead person does not take the blood money with them to the grave, it goes to the living relatives to manage their lives.
And if you think about it:
- When a wife (female) dies, her 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲) and family 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀.
- When a husband (male) dies, his 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 (𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲) and family 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀.
If anything, it should be the men who create an uproar, because men receive less compensation than women!

Nowadays some of our Brothers are too proud to display their wives most especially in social media. Remember my dear Brothers in Islām the beauty of your wives is for your eyes only and not for everyone’s eyes.
BE A MAN WITH GHEERAH 👍🏻 AND NOT A DAYOOTH 👊🏻
And sistters make sure to never marry a “Dayooth” !! Never marry a man who won’t enter Jannah!! The prophet Muhammad sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallam said “The Dayooth will not enter Jannah.” Who is the The Dayooth? He is the man who doesn’t have jealousy on his Maharaim(his mother, sister, wife …) He is the man who would show off his wife, her beauty and her style in front of men He is the one who doesn’t protect her from the eager eyes of strangers (non Mahram) He is the one who accepts that his wife go out with him wearing perfume, putting make up and wearing attractive clothes as if she is an item for sale to others He is the man who is pleased by the admiring glances from stranger men toward his wife He is pleased by sharing her with them!! He would let his sister/his daughter go out with tight clothes, without her Hijab He is the man who knows that his sister/his daughter has a boyfriend but he doesn’t care He never has Jealousy on her and would let her show her charm to any one!! So dear sister, never marry a Dayooth! Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar(rA) reported that the Prophet (saw) said: “Three people will not enter paradise, and Allaah will not look to them on the Day of Judgement: the one who is disobedient to his parents, the woman who imitates men and the ad-Dayooth.” (Ahmad) Ad-Dayooth is the man who permits women for whom he is responsible (eg: mother, wife, sister etc.) to engage in illicit relations, or to display their beauty to strange men, thereby stimulating their sexual desires

In our society, there are many issues which hide behind the curtain. Youngsters don't even possess the courage to present their personal issues before the scholars or counselors, as a result, strange diseases prevail in the society and lives get shattered. One such issue is that many youngsters, especially men, who are suffering from excessive desire, their marriages are delayed and they want to masturbate or watch porn movies to relieve that. They think and assume that instead of doing zina (committing adultery) this might be less sinful. We would like to address this issue in this post.
They want to obtain relief from this sexual anxiety, but masturbation or watching movies will NOT solve the problem and will NOT weaken the desire. It will it make it WORSE and will ultimately lead them towards adultery.
Actually, people who seek such a solution to control their sexual desires want to treat the disease with the thing that is itself the disease!!!
Believe us, those who opt for such options to relieve themselves will NEVER find healing or relief in either of these two options.
Something that is itself a disease cannot bring healing from a disease; rather it will only make the disease worse.
This is no more than a passing desire and transient pleasure, but what will be left is regret and remorse.
You must do is strive to keep yourself chaste by means of marriage at the earliest possible opportunity. You do not have to be restricted by traditional social requirements; rather you should try to reduce these restrictions as much as possible and hasten to marry someone who will keep you chaste.
Until you are able to do that, you must keep away from movies completely, lower your gaze, and refrain from this secret habit. You should also fast a great deal and strive hard therein and in other acts of worship and all kinds of permissible deeds that will benefit you in this world and in the Hereafter. Do not allow yourself any free time, because if you do not keep your nafs busy with the truth, it will keep you busy with falsehood.
Always bear in mind that Allah is watching you.
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) also said: “O young men, whoever among you can afford it should marry, and whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a shield for him.”
Narrated by al-Bukhari (5065) and Muslim (1400).

🥷🏻 A woman does not want much from her husband… just three things—if the husband can provide these, the wife will fall in love with him, become gentle, and be loyal.
1. Attention: Seeing with the heart, listening with the heart.
The most important thing a woman seeks is,Am I important to him?
📗@The Prophet (ﷺ)said,The best among you is the one who is best to his wife.Listening to his wife, paying a little attention, giving her importance—these hold more value in her eyes than gold.
2. Protection: The warm shade of security
A woman’s heart is like a flower…it blooms in the sunlight of love and survives in the shade of security.Allah has said,Men are protectors and maintainers of women. This guardianship is not about harshness—rather,it is that affection where the wife can confidently say,No matter what,I have my husband.
3. Satisfaction: Providing refuge in peace
Allah has said,You are garments for one another.Just as clothing conceals the body, protects it, and enhances beauty—so too is the relationship between husband and wife.Providing each other with mental and marital peace is what brings them closest together.
In summary, when a husband gives his wife Attention, Protection, and Satisfaction—she will naturally love him, respect him,and be ready to do anything for him.

In many Muslim weddings today, it is only the groom who dresses modestly, while the bride, who is meant to cover her body, will leave it on display. Some Muslim bride even remove the hijab they've been adorning for years because it's their happy day. Some wear tight and body-hugging dresses.
Dear Muslimah, you have every right to be happy on the day of your Nikkah; it's obligatory on you to place Allâh's pleasure above what makes you happy and your cultural way of doing a wedding. Any cultural practice that'll make you exceed Allâh's limit must be dropped.
In the hereafter, Allâh will only judge us by His laws (Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad), not by cultural or Western laws.
Fear Allâh, to Whom you shall return; the punishment of Allâh is severe and unbearable.

Can a husband drink his wife's breast milk in Islam?
Malik also reported in al-Muwatta that ‘Abd-Allah ibn Dinar said: “A man came to ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Umar when I was with him in the court-house, asking him about breastfeeding one who is grown up. ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Umar said: ‘A man came to ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab and said, “I have a slave-girl with whom I used to have sexual relations, and my wife went to her and gave her her milk, then when I went to her, she said, ‘Stop, by Allah I have given her my milk.’” ‘Umar said, “Punish her (your wife), and (continue to) go to your slave-girl, for (the ruling on) breastfeeding only applies to breastfeeding of infants.”’” Its isnad is sahih.
From this it is clear that drinking one’s wife’s milk has no effect and does not create the relationship of mahram.
Ibn Qudamah said in al-Mughni (9/201):
“One of the conditions of breastfeeding creating the relationship of mahram is that it should be within the first two years. This is the opinion of most of the scholars. Something like this was narrated from ‘Umar, ‘Ali, Ibn ‘Umar, Ibn Mas’ud, Ibn ‘Abbas, Abu Hurayrah and the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), apart from ‘Aishah. It was also the opinion of al-Shi’bi, Ibn Shubrumah, al-Awza’i, al-Shaafi’i, Ishaq, Abu Yusuf, Muhammad, and Abu Thawr, and was narrated in one report from Malik.
Based on the above, drinking one’s wife’s milk has no effect, but it is better to avoid it.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-‘Uthaymin was asked about this matter, and he replied:
“Breastfeeding a grown-up has no effect, because the breastfeeding which has an effect (of creating the relationship of mahram) is that which consists of five feedings or more within the first two years, before weaning.
On this basis, if someone breastfed from his wife or drank her milk, he does not become her son.” (Fatawa Islamiyyah, 3/338)
And Allah knows best.

The biggest mistake a wife can make is running to tell her family and friends every time she has a problem with her husband. You think you're just venting, but what you're actually doing is opening the door for everyone to walk into your marriage.
One day, you'll make up with your husband. You'll forgive. You'll move on. But the people you told, they won't forget. They'll remind you. They'll shame you. They'll say, isn't that the same husband who did this and that?
What started as just sharing turns into ammunition. They'll throw back at you later. Your marriage is your home. And just like you wrap and protect your food, the way you bake a cake or heat up the food and carefully cook them in silence. Do the same with your problems. Wrap them, protect them. Don't let anyone taste what wasn't theirs to begin with. Keep your issues private because not everyone wants to see your marriage survive. Not every ear deserves your story.
Not every heart knows how to hold your pain.
Guard your home.

Ibrahim waited decades for a child.
Musa waited years in exile.
Yusuf waited in prison.
Yaqub waited with blind eyes.
Ayyub waited through pain.
Nuh waited a lifetime.
Their waiting wasn't wasted. Waiting is one of the quietest forms of ibadah-because even in silence, you're saying: "I trust Allah."
And when the wait ended, Allah rewarded them beyond imagination.

The Kashur khandars are in full bloom! Although I hardly attend weddings .. the last one I attended was five months ago and it was a wedding in the family!
But marriages in Kashmir have increasingly become a show of wealth, status and sadly Instagram content! What I see sends shivers down my spine! The extravagance, waste and bidah creeping into our weddings have little to do with our Kashmiri culture! The amount of money being spent is simply staggering! If Allah gives me life and when my children reach marriageable age, I will stand firmly against this nonsense, come what may!
Inviting thousands, serving multi course feasts, juices, dry fruits, sweets and God knows what else—and believe me, most won’t even remember it the next day! Instead! Some may instead say, Haraam ka paisa hoga or JK Bank ka bohat qarz hai!
Meanwhile we have sisters and daughters who have crossed marriageable age simply because their families cannot afford these unnecessary expectations!
Instead of spending a fortune to impress people for one day, spend a portion of it helping someone build a life! Help a daughter get married! The satisfaction it brings in this world is priceless and Insha’ Allah it can become a lasting source of ajr in the Hereafter! Allah never lets a good deed go unrewarded!
Keep the marriages simple! Keep the original seven senn (dishes)! Please STOP this unnecessary parade of juices, dry fruits, sweets and other nonsensical additions! And! Please stop this buffet system—it is not our culture! In the name of keeping up with the times we are slowly cutting ourselves off from our own culture and traditions!
Don’t make others lives miserable just to keep up with this endless race of show off and dekha-dekhi!
And! For heaven’s sake stop putting every family moment on Instagram! You never know what unwanted attention, envy or nazar it may invite—and you never know who is watching our daughters and sisters or with what intentions!
Marriage is a Sunnah of the Rasoolullah SAWW! Don’t turn a Sunnah into a competition and don’t turn a simple Nikah into a bid‘ah filled extravaganza!
Make marriages simple, dignified and affordable—so that our young men and women are encouraged to marry rather than pushed towards haram by the burden of expectations we ourselves have created!
Let’s make Nikah easy so that haram never becomes the easier choice!

Nikah is better than a haram relationship!
One is lawful, the other unlawful.
One is pure, the other impure.
One is chaste, the other unchaste.
One is right, the other wrong.
In short, one is Halal, the other is Haram.
One is lawful, the other unlawful.

"Muslim men abuse & beat their wives"
This needs to be changed to "Coward males who don't fear Allāh abuse & beat their wives".
Muslim Men are Lions who fear Allāh(سبحانه وتعالى), they adopt the politeness & character of the Prophet(صلى الله عليه وسلم), Allāh(جل وعلا) has considered it a crime & prohibition to hurt non-Muslim women, so how is it possible for a Muslim to hurt, abuse & bash his own wife that's a Muslimâh!???
Wallâhi, you will not find Men who are more gentle & loving & affectionate to their wives than Muslims who follow the Qur'ān & Sunnâh, the Kuffār are just jealous of our morals, which is why they try so hard to corrupt our women to dress half naked & attack our Prophet(صلى الله عليه وسلم) for upholding Shyness & Modesty & the Sharī'ah of Islām.
Also, it's not possible to call those who abuse & bash their wives as "Men", both Muslims & Kuffār can agree on this point, but Wallâhi don't let the Kuffār make you think it's Islām that oppresses women, rather it's the contrary, those who are further away from Allâh(سبحانه وتعالى) are the ones who are more likely to hurt others.
May Allāh(سبحانه وتعالى) protect our young girls from the Fitnâ of Feminism & allow our young boys to grow up with the manners of the Messenger(صلى الله عليه وسلم) who will one day treat these girls like queens & help bring back the 'Izzâ of Islām throughout the world!
