انطلقت اليوم الرحلة ال١٠٠ من مطار صنعاء منذ نجحت هدنة نيسان/أبريل ٢٠٢٢ في فتح المطار بعد ما يقرب من ستة أعوام من الإغلاق. واستفاد ما يزيد عن ٥٠ ألف راكب من هذه الرحلات. كانت رحلة اليوم الرحلة ال٤٩ منذ انتهاء الهدنة في شهر تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي ١/٢

ويعد هذا تذكيرًا بأهمية تقديم التنازلات وأثرها الإيجابي على حياة المدنيين. يجب على الأطراف البناء على هذا لإحراز التقدم نحو المزيد من الإجراءات للتخفيف من تأثير النزاع على اليمنيين، ونحو وقف إطلاق للنار في جميع أنحاء اليمن، وعملية سياسية جامعة لإنهاء النزاع.

Today, the 100th roundtrip flight took off from #Sanaa since the Truce of April 2022 succeeded in opening the airport after nearly 6 years of closure. Over 50,000 passengers benefited from these flights. This is the 49th flight since the expiry of the Truce last October 1/2

This is a reminder of the value of compromises &its positive impact on civilians. Parties must build on this to make progress on further measures to mitigate the impact of the conflict, a national ceasefire, and an inclusive political process to bring an end to the conflict.

UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, met today with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and other German officials and exchanged views on the situation in Yemen and on ways to move forward towards a sustainable, inclusive peace that is Yemeni-owned and internationally backed.
Special Envoy Grundberg expressed his sincere appreciation to Germany's steadfast support to his mediation efforts and to the UN's peace, development and humanitarian efforts in Yemen, and emphasized the need for concerted international support to accompany Yemen on the path towards peace.
"The international community can provide guarantees, advocate for maximum restraint, encourage the parties to prioritize the interests of all Yemenis, and work to ensure the inclusion of as many segments of Yemeni society as possible throughout the process," SE Grundberg said.

التقى المبعوث الأممي الخاص إلى اليمن، هانس غروندبرغ، اليوم بوزيرة الخارجية الألمانية، أنالينا بيربوك، ومسؤولين ألمان آخرين وتبادلوا وجهات النظر حول الوضع في اليمن وسُبل المُضي قُدمًا نحو سلام مستدام وجامع يملكه اليمنيون ويحظى بدعم دولي.
وأعرب المبعوث الخاص غروندبرغ عن تقديره لدعم ألمانيا الثابت لجهود الوساطة التي يبذلها ولجهود الأمم المتحدة في مجالات السلام والتنمية والإغاثة الإنسانية في اليمن، وأكد على الحاجة إلى دعم دولي منسّق لمصاحبة اليمن على طريق يفضي إلى السلام.
وقال السيد غروندبرغ: "يمكن للمجتمع الدولي تقديم ضمانات، ودعوة الأطراف للتحلي بأقصى درجات ضبط النفس، وتشجيعهم على منح الأولوية لمصلحة جميع اليمنيين، والعمل على ضمان إشراك أكبر قدر ممكن من فئات المجتمع اليمني في جميع مراحل العملية."
