For the first time, the Bundeswehr has rated the risk of Russian sabotage against its own troops and facilities as "significant," the second-highest level on its internal scale.

Behind the shift: a crashed drone carrying highly explosive material, found in mid-September just metres from an aircraft at Wunstorf airbase in Lower Saxony. BKA technical analysis indicates it may have been lying near the base for roughly two years. Investigators believe the target was military aircraft, not civilian ones.

The assessment says Moscow almost certainly has the capability and very likely a growing intent to hit German military sites and Ukrainian personnel in Germany.

Pakistani army chief Asim Munir carried a final U.S. warning into Tehran during his visit yesterday, according to leaks cited by the Lebanese paper Al-Akhbar. Iran is to concede on the nuclear issue before any other step, or face a wide-scale attack directed mainly at its nuclear facilities at Pickaxe Mountain.

Tehran is also holding heated internal discussions over Moscow's role and its de-escalation push following Lavrov's visit.

Unauthorized drones were spotted over three sensitive French military sites between October 9 and 13: the Toulon naval base, the Directorate General of Armaments headquarters in Toulon, and the 54th Artillery Regiment in Hyères.

The flights disrupted Exercise Typhoon. Electromagnetic jamming was used, but no drone was recovered. The Toulon prosecutor's office has opened a judicial investigation.

Hamas Nukhba operative Musa Abed Muhammad Hamuda was killed this week in a strike in the Gaza City area.

He took part in planning the September 8, 2025 explosive device attack that killed four tank crew soldiers of the 52nd Battalion: Lt. Matan Abramovitz, Sgt. Amit Aryeh Regev, Staff Sgt. Uri Lamed and Sgt. Gadi Kotel.

The four fell under Division 162 during Operation Gideon's Chariots. Fire Brigade 215, subordinate to that division, carried out the strike.
