RT @timjudah1: Hi @NATO_KFOR. It is time to tell everyone what is going on in Kosovo. Communication is a big part of your job - when others are happily stoking war on social media. https://t.co/i6hJrapwpG
We all came from different parts of the world, with different cultures and military backgrounds. These months of our deployment will forever live in our hearts as special memories!
Happy #InternationalFriendshipDay2022 from all of us at #KFOR! https://t.co/wzTws4ebLe

RT @NATO_KFOR: #KFOR welcomes last night’s decision to remove the barricades in the north of #Kosovo.
The removal of the barricades has to be done quickly, in a safe and secure way, avoiding any kind of incidents or risks. https://t.co/AgbGiBdntI

RT @ivanastradner: It’s just a matter of time when Vucic will again resort to his game: escalate to de-escalate. Next time, NATO should fix this charade immediately and show that neither Belgrade nor Moscow can destabilize the Balkans. Btw, where is 🇷🇺 brotherhood now to help Serbia? :) https://t.co/allNCj0p0C

RT @JeffFisch: As the former Sr US #Defense Official to Kosovo, here are a few thoughts.

1. I watched #KFOR train for riot control and fire phobia. They’re legit.

2. When is someone going to ask Serbia how many levels of combat alert it has. For 10 years, there’s been dozens of ‘the highest alert level ever’ claims. @ivanastradner is right - this is #Vucic escalate to deescalate l.

3. It’s been a while since there’s been clashes with KFOR. This won’t play well at #NATO HQ or the NAC. For years, KFOR has shrunk due to a (falsely) perceived growing peace. If this persists, the NAC’s next KFOR resourcing meeting will be… sporty.

4. I pray #Serbians don’t play the fool. They amassed a great protest against Vucic over the past weeks. He’s trying to change the subject. Don’t let him.

5. Very upset at #Kosovo leaders. WTF. #Serbia was on a path to change. Why did they fuck around with #Serb enclaves in north Kosovo and hand Vucic an escape route? As #Napoleon said, when your enemy is making a mistake, don’t interfere.
If you’re following the Balkans..

“@NATO peacekeeping soldiers formed security cordons around three town halls in Kosovo on Monday as police clashed with Serb protesters, while Serbia's president put the army on the highest level of combat alert.” @Reuters

The Kremlin is gaslighting about a new “bing bang” in Europe (Lavrov just had an interview)

Vucic is again playing his escalate to de-escalate well-known game.
