Today, we celebrate the strength, courage, and dedication of the Indian Army on Indian Army Day!
On this day in 1949, Lieutenant General K M Cariappa made history by becoming the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army, paving the way for a proud, self-reliant force.
The Indian Army stands as the backbone of our nation, guarding our borders and ensuring peace with unmatched bravery. Let’s honor their sacrifices and express our gratitude to these heroes who put the nation above everything else.
