Recently, the entire XDC Network experienced significant congestion, affecting transactions across multiple platforms, including the W Chain Migration Portal.
This resulted in delays and failures in claiming tokens, causing inconvenience for some users attempting to complete their migration.
We are pleased to confirm that the XDC Network congestion issue has now been fully resolved, and the migration process is functioning smoothly.
Additionally, we recognize that some users have encountered migration issues due to W Chain not being natively integrated with D’Cent Wallet. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to get W Chain added to D’Cent Wallet, leading to persistent transaction processing limitations.
To bypass these limitations, we are providing an alternative migration approach using MetaMask, ensuring a seamless and error-free process.
Steps to Migrate Using MetaMask:
1️⃣ Transfer your WCO tokens from D’Cent Wallet to MetaMask
Open your D’Cent Wallet and locate your WCO tokens.
Use the ‘Send’ function to transfer them to your MetaMask wallet address.
If you haven’t added WCO to MetaMask, follow our step-by-step guide to manually add the token.
2️⃣ Access the Migration Portal via Desktop
Visit the official migration portal https://bridge.w-chain.com/migration.
Ensure you are connected via MetaMask on a desktop browser for better stability.
3️⃣ Complete the Migration Process
Follow the on-screen steps to swap your tokens. https://w-chain.com/migration-portal/
Confirm the transaction and verify that your migrated tokens appear in your new wallet.
