📸 Imam Baqir (A) himself willed [for people] to commemorate his death in Mina for up to 10 years after his death. This is unprecedented amongst our Aimma (Infallible Imams); it is unparalleled. The memory of Imam Baqir (A) meant the remembrance of the resurgence of the original Islamic movement in confronting the distortions and mischiefs which had taken shape. November 25, 2009

📸 "The person who had become the ruler, and regarded himself as the Imam, saw that the qualifications necessary for the role of an Imam existed in Imam Baqir (A) and not in himself. Thus, he regarded Imam Baqir (A) dangerous for his position because he claimed the right of being Imam."
