🌿 Imam Ali (a.s.) — Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 129
📖 “Corruption has become manifest; there is no one left to change what is wrong, nor anyone to forbid disobedience and sin.
And yet, with such behavior, you wish to dwell in the Sacred Abode of God, in the neighborhood of His mercy, and to be among His most honored friends?
Never! God cannot be deceived regarding His eternal Paradise — His pleasure is attained only through sincere worship.
Cursed are those who enjoin good but abandon it themselves, and who forbid evil but commit it themselves.”
🌸 This powerful reminder from Amir al-Mu'minin, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) exposes the tragedy of hypocrisy — when people speak of virtue but fail to live by it. True nearness to God requires authentic action, not empty words.
