and the expectation of al-Mahdi is its fruit —
together forming the tree of Wilayah, whose shade will cover the believers on that great Day.

O Allah!
On the Day when scales are set and secrets are revealed,
make our love for ‘Ali, the Gate of Knowledge,
and our yearning for al-Mahdi, the Light of Justice,
the heaviest of deeds upon our scales.
Let our hearts not deviate from their path,
and count us among those who await their meeting with faith and loyalty.
“O Lord, complete for us our light, and forgive us — indeed, You are over all things competent.”

“Have you ever seen anyone who claims that Allah has commanded adultery, drinking wine, or any of these forbidden acts?”

I said, “No.”

The Imam replied: “Then the ‘indecency’ referred to here is not those acts — it is the false claim of tyrannical rulers who said that Allah had ordered them to appoint leaders whom He did not appoint. They lied against Allah, and this false claim was the indecency (fāḥishah) He condemned.”

📖 Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 47:

"And when their eyes are turned toward the companions of the Fire, they say: 'Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.'"

💎 In the Light of Imam al-Sadiq (AS):

On the Day of Resurrection, seven domes of light — radiant with green and white brilliance — will appear.
In each dome stands the Imam of his time, surrounded by the people of his era — the righteous and the sinful alike — until they halt before the gates of Paradise.

Then, the first Imam will cast a gaze — a gaze of recognition — and through it, he will separate his followers from his enemies.

He will turn to his enemies and say:
"Are you the ones who swore that Allah's mercy would never reach them?"
Then to his followers, he will say:
"Enter Paradise — no fear shall be upon you today."

At that moment, the faces of the oppressors will turn black, while the companions of the Imam (AS) will be distinguished and ushered into Paradise — and they will recite with relief and gratitude:

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
"Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."

Quran, Surah Al-A'raf (7:117):

"And We inspired to Moses, 'Throw your staff.' And at once it devoured what they were falsifying."

This verse captures the moment God's definitive sign swallowed the elaborate illusions of Pharaoh's sorcerers. But the story of this staff, according to the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (as), is far more profound and spans from the beginning of creation to the End of Time.

📜 A Relic of Prophethood:
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as) revealed an astonishing truth about this very staff:

· Its Sacred Lineage: It originally belonged to Prophet Adam (as), then passed to Prophet Shuaib (as), and finally to Prophet Moses (as).
· Its Present State: "It is with us," declared the Imam. "I saw it recently, and it is still green, as if it had just been cut from its tree. It speaks when spoken to."

✨ Prepared for the Awaited One:
The Imam (as) then delivered a breathtaking prophecy about its ultimate purpose:

· "It has been prepared for our Qa'im (al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance). He will perform with it what Moses used to perform."
· When it appears for the Imam of our Time, it will "instill awe" and will "devour what the falsifiers fabricate." It will carry out any command given to it.

Imam al-Baqir (as) described its awe-inspiring action in detail:

"When it advances to devour what the falsifiers present, it splits into two branches: one in the ground and the other in the ceiling, with forty cubits between them. It devours what they falsify with its tongue."

1. The Past: As proof for Prophet Moses against Pharaoh's tyranny.

Imam Ali (AS) said: "Sleep escapes me at night knowing that a single family in the Islamic land may be kept awake by hunger. How then can I sleep?"
2. The Islam of Muawiyah: The convenient, indulgent path. It is, unfortunately, more popular. It says: "Do whatever you wish. Take it easy. Don't be hard on yourself. If it gets difficult for the people... well, it gets difficult."

This struggle between the Islam of conscience and the Islam of convenience, between the Imam who shares the people's pain and the ruler who indulges, is the real division. It is not merely about Sunni and Shia labels.

Today, both claim to love the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Both recite the Quran. Both profess to follow the Prophet (PBUH). Yet, their cores—their understanding of responsibility, justice, and sacrifice—are worlds apart.

This is why the discussion surrounding the house of Fāṭimah cannot be reduced to a simple argument over political allegiance.

The deeper question is:

Did the actions attributed to the actors of that period conform to the moral and religious standards taught by the Prophet ﷺ?

If the answer is no, then the historian must explain the contradiction.

And if someone rejects the reports concerning physical violence or the loss of al-Muḥassin, then the correct approach is not merely to dismiss them.

Examine the sources.
Examine the chains.
Compare the versions.
Determine what is early and what is late.
Separate established facts from disputed details.

That is how history should be studied.

Not through blind loyalty.

Not through blind hatred.

But through evidence, context, and moral consistency.

The Prophet ﷺ spent his life teaching mercy toward the weak.

He prohibited the killing of women and children.

He condemned the killing of infants.

He taught his followers to respect human dignity.

So when we study what happened immediately after his death, we should ask one simple question:

If the reports of violence against Fāṭimah's household are true, how can those actions be reconciled with the moral legacy of the Prophet ﷺ?

That question deserves an honest historical investigation.

Because Saqīfah was not merely about who would govern.

It was also about what happened to the Prophet's family when political power was being established.

And the house of Fāṭimah remains one of the most painful and consequential questions in the history of early Islam.
