🔻 Aren’t We Tired of These Apocalyptic Analogies?! / Final Part

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

We were talking about a statement made by a respected individual who asked: “Aren’t we tired of these apocalyptic analogies?”

Of course, our remarks are not directed at him personally. Rather, his statement became an incentive for us to publish these discussions and audio recordings on the channel.

🔹 In the previous posts on our channel, we talked about messianism in the West, particularly in America.

Contrary to what we Iranians sometimes assume—that Americans are largely irreligious—that is not actually the case. The futurist Protestants, or what are commonly known as the Evangelicals, are largely centered in the United States.

Do you realize what they believe?

They believe that certain events must take place in the world before the Second Coming of Christ, with the first and most important of these being the establishment of Israel, which they regard as the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

These are subjects we have discussed at length.

🔻 But our real question is this: Why has it reached the point where a young Iranian would make such a statement?

Why have we failed to do enough?

Where have we failed to make proper use of our potential?

Why do humorous and entertainment channels have millions of followers, while channels dealing with the future of this very Iranian youth have only twenty or thirty thousand members?

And then this person—or people like him—sometimes, out of a lack of study and awareness, come forward and ask:

“Why are we even getting involved in these apocalyptic discussions?”

This is the real question: Why have we neglected this field?

🔹 Let me emphasize this again.

The late Imam Khomeini described the great objective of the Islamic Revolution in very serious terms. He stated that if officials were to deviate from this responsibility even for a moment, it would constitute a great danger and a grave betrayal.

Why did Imam Khomeini use such strong language?

Because he understood that if an Iranian youth is not properly informed and intellectually equipped, they will not have the necessary resilience when confronted with the West. A sense of doubt and instability will enter their heart.

There is also an important statement from Ayatollah Khamenei. He said that he had seen a document produced by colonial powers. Let me summarize what it said:

“Take Mahdism away from a nation, and no hope will remain for it. When a nation has no hope left, it will no longer resist.”

Think about that.

They know exactly where to weaken us—to the point that our youth begin asking:

“Why are we even talking about these apocalyptic subjects?”

🔻 Now look at what the opposing side has done to understand our beliefs about Mahdism and the End Times.

Let me give you an example.

Former U.S. President Joe Biden himself reportedly acknowledged in an interview with the media that, in order to become familiar with the Shiite belief in the Twelfth Imam, he had a professor come and teach him every week.

Look at that.

We are not even telling our Iranian youth:

📚 “Study Mahdism every week.”

We could simply say:

“Read one book about Mahdism each year.”

Is that really so difficult?

Alongside all the novels, all the fictional stories, and all the daily political news that you read today and then lose the motivation to read again tomorrow, you spend all day forwarding political channels and posts to one another.

What value does that have if you remain unfamiliar with the fundamental ideas that shape your civilization and its future?

At the very least, look at what the opposing side is doing.

🔹 Let me give you another example, this time concerning Mohammed bin Salman.

His interviews are available on YouTube and elsewhere, and some have even been subtitled in Persian.
At one point, he said that Saudi Arabia was prepared to sit at the negotiating table with any country in the world. At the time, Saudi Arabia was experiencing tensions with Qatar; he even mentioned Qatar and the Houthis in Yemen.

But he said:

“We will not do this with the Iranians.”

Of course, they eventually did.

But let me explain the reason he gave.

In an interview, he argued that according to what he claimed was stated in Imam Khomeini’s will, as well as in Iran’s Constitution, the Mahdi of the Shiites would emerge and rise from Mecca and overthrow their government.

His argument was essentially:

“How can we quickly sit at the negotiating table with a government whose beliefs include such an objective?”

🔻 Look at this carefully: the opposing side is more familiar with our apocalyptic beliefs than we are.

They openly discuss these subjects in interviews.

📖 In previous posts on our channel, we also mentioned a book published in the United States which, during its time, reportedly sold around 50 million copies.

Now compare that with the state of books about Mahdism and religious thought in Iran.

This is why our youth are uninformed, and why questions such as “Why do you keep talking about apocalyptic analogies?” arise.

You see a novel in Iran that has been reprinted 50 times.

You study a romance novel and discover that it offers the young person little or no knowledge or intellectual awareness.

Yet that same young person may never have read a single book about the Imam of the Age (Imam al-Mahdi).

It is therefore understandable that they would dismiss discussions about the End Times.

🔻 From a political perspective as well, we must pay attention to Mahdism and the study of the future.

The Supreme Leader has made a very important point:

We must know the enemy, understand the enemy’s plans, and equip ourselves to confront them.

So, who is our civilizational adversary today?

Which axis are we in civilizational confrontation with?

The Shiite axis versus the international Zionist-Jewish axis, centered around occupied Palestine.

This confrontation has been going on for more than seven or eight decades.

The Supreme Leader has also described the issue of Palestine in another significant way:

“The issue of Palestine will open the doors of deliverance for the Muslim Ummah.”

It is a mysterious key—a key to Faraj, the promised deliverance.

This is clear within Shiite eschatological belief.

When the Imam al-Mahdi appears, after establishing control over Mecca and Medina and following a series of events, he will set out toward the liberation of Palestine.

And the symbolism of the unity of religions is also associated with this: according to Islamic tradition, Jesus Christ will descend and pray behind Imam al-Mahdi—in Palestine.

The point is very clear.

⚠️ Therefore, if our understanding of the enemy is weak, we risk repeating history.

The Supreme Leader has used expressions referring to the possibility of a repetition of the Treaty of Imam Hasan, the tragedy of Ashura, and even the Saqifa—in other words, internal coups and divisions within the Muslim community.

Today, our confrontation is with the Zionist axis.

Therefore, we must know our enemy.

🇺🇸 In fact, much of our conflict with America revolves around Israel.

Donald Trump himself has repeatedly called for recognition of Israel. Early on, he even wrote a letter to the Supreme Leader, the main substance of which concerned this issue.

On the program Be Vaqt-e Iran, an expert had explicitly listed what he described as the causes of the conflict and hostility, arguing that Israel was at the heart of the matter—and that even Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and other issues were secondary to the issue of Israel.

Why?

Because, as the former French prime minister once put it, Israel is the “sacred cause” of Western civilization.

Do you understand?

From a political perspective, and from an ideological and religious perspective, when we look at the whole picture, we see that this is fundamentally a civilizational confrontation.
Therefore, from this perspective as well, we must strengthen our understanding of eschatology, the End Times, and the recognition of the enemy.

🔻 Finally, we must understand this:

The discussions we have presented here—God willing—should be sufficient to raise awareness among our youth, so that they no longer find themselves asking:

“Why are you talking about these apocalyptic analogies?”

🔴 Former U.S. President’s Studies on the “Imam Mahdi”

✍️ Mostafa Amiri

🔻 In an interview at the White House, Joe Biden makes an interesting reference to the Twelfth Imam:

▪️ “If you come to my house, you will find many books on theology in my library.

When I was Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, I did not know what or who the Hidden Imam was.”

▪️ “So I went and hired a full professor specializing in Islamic studies. I met with him and learned from him about Imam Mahdi, the Imam of the Shiites.”

🔴 Netanyahu’s Fear of the Appearance of the “Imam Mahdi”

✍️ Mostafa Amiri

▪️ In his speech at the United Nations, Netanyahu referred to the messianic ideology of Iran’s government and presented belief in the appearance of Imam Mahdi as the source of Iran’s policies in the Middle East.

He attempted to instill fear among countries from the UN podium, saying:

“The savior of Islam is supposed to rule over the entire planet.”

“How can we reach an understanding with the Iranian Revolution when both its Constitution and Khomeini’s will explicitly state that the conditions for the emergence of the Mahdi must be prepared and that Mecca must be brought under control?”

▪️ “The goal of the Iranian government is to reach Mecca.”

▪️ “It is impossible to negotiate with a country that is planning for the emergence of the Twelfth Imam of the Shiites.”

🔴 From Zionism to the Sufyani

✍️ Mostafa Amiri

▪️ We have stated that the three sides of the “Western, Hebrew, Arab” triangle are the main enemies of the Imam of the Age.

▪️ Now, international Zionism — “Christian, Jewish, Arab” — has once again made preparations for a military attack on Iran and the Shiite homeland of the Imam of the Age.

🔻 The weak point of this triangle is the #Third side.

🔸 Was It the People’s Fault—or the Fault of Pharaoh’s Government? 🔸

🔹 Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi 🔹

Consider this verse:

فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
“So Pharaoh made his people submissive, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a rebellious people.”

— Qur’an 43:54

Pharaoh belittled and humiliated his own people, and as a result, they obeyed him and submitted to him. Indeed, Pharaoh’s people were a rebellious and disobedient people.

What is remarkable is that God directs the blame and the sharp edge of criticism toward those who obeyed and followed, rather than toward Pharaoh himself.

God could have said: “Pharaoh was rebellious, tyrannical, or power-hungry.” But instead, He says:

“Indeed, they were a rebellious people.”

🔹 The roots of obedience to a tyrant are thus traced to the lack of commitment among the people who follow and submit to him.

This is an important point: when it comes to the fate of regimes and governments, the people are presented as the fundamental factor—not the rulers.

The message is that a corrupt ruler rises to power because of corruption within the people, rather than the people becoming corrupt merely because a tyrant has gained power.

In other words:

It was the people themselves who were corrupt and disobedient, and that was what enabled someone like Pharaoh to rise to power.

🔸 This is a precise and thought-provoking analysis. The foundation is not placed in the leader; the foundation is placed in the people.

And the defining quality attributed to the people is not that they are intelligent, clever, or perceptive. Rather, it is their relationship with trust, commitment, loyalty, and keeping their promises.

If a society consists of people who do not honor their commitments, who are not faithful to their word, and who do not stand by what they profess, then such a society creates the conditions for tyrannical and unjust individuals to rise to power.

🔻 Therefore, if you want a nation to reform itself, or if you want those in power to be removed, the first thing you must do is strengthen the roots of commitment and responsible character among the people.

For opposite fāsiq—the one who abandons moral commitment—stand the committed, faithful, and trustworthy person.

✨ If a society is to change, its people must first be cultivated in commitment, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

🔸 The Feeling of Being in the Majority 🔸

🔹 Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi 🔹

▫️ The fragrance of being present in the mosque, and the fragrance of being among believers, is no less than the fragrance of a perfume market—if not even more beautiful.

▫️ For this reason, I advise fathers and mothers: your children may not want to come willingly the first or second time because they are playful and full of energy. But try to bring them to the mosque with affection and gentleness.

When my father wanted to take me with him to the mosque, I would also fool around and resist. He would bring us along with kindness and affection. We were just like these mischievous children.

▫️ When these children grow up, they may become even better than us.

Bring your children to the mosque so that ideological groups do not take them away from you. Bring them so that they can become spiritually equipped and strengthened.

If you do not bring them, and someone else takes them in another direction, and eventually their path leads somewhere dangerous, you will suffer deeply.

▫️ Madam! Bring your daughter with you, so that others do not lead her toward abandoning proper hijab.

Bring her so that she can see this vast sea of women wearing chadors and observing hijab, and realize that she is part of the majority.

When she goes out into the streets to shop, she should not feel like a minority.
