When Prophet Moses (AS) and his army marched to conquer Ariha (a city in Palestine), the schemer Balaam devised a plan not for direct combat, but for cultural and soft warfare.
His strategy was sinister:
· "Adorn the women, give them various goods to sell, and send them among Moses' army.
· Instruct these women not to refuse any of their desires. If even one man among them commits a sin, it will be enough for you."
And indeed, the unthinkable happened. As a consequence of this moral corruption, God afflicted the followers of Moses with a plague, which killed 70,000 of them.
