🔸 The River of Power and the Test Before the Reappearance! 🔸
🌍 Allah tests generations. When one generation succeeds in its trial, Allah tells the Imam: “This generation is trustworthy—appear now!” Because for the blessed Reappearance to take place, humanity must prove itself reliable.
📖 Look at the story of Ṭālūt (Saul): people kept asking their prophet for a commander, just as we pray today for the Imam of our Time to come. Allah sent them Ṭālūt. When he gathered an army and set out, he said:
“Allah will test you with a river. Whoever does not drink from it is with me, but whoever drinks will not remain with me.”
💧 When the thirsty soldiers reached the river, most of them drank—only a small, faithful group abstained. Ṭālūt declared: “These few are my soldiers; the rest must return.”
👉 A small band of the obedient is better than a large crowd of the arrogant.
⚔️ The Imam Khomeini’s uprising resembled this moment: “So when Ṭālūt set out with the soldiers...” (Qur’an 2:249). His call echoed across the world: “Rise up for Allah!” But joining was only the beginning—the real test was ahead, just like reaching the river.
🌊 Today, our test is the River of Power.
Clergy who were once far from authority are now placed in positions of power—will they remain humble and obedient?
If a simple Imam of prayer becomes a commander, does he stay the same?
If he becomes a governor, a minister, or even a parliament member—does he remain true?
🔥 Power reveals the inner self. This government is our river of power. Whoever uses it for personal gain will be cut off:
“Whoever drinks from it is not of me.”
🌿 One example: When your leader became president, Mowlavi Gol-Mohammad stayed in his house for ten days. He later recalled: “They didn’t even serve tea—because they had run out of their rationed sugar and tea coupons!” Yet, he never displayed his ascetic life. In public, he wore the finest, cleanest, most elegant clothes; but in private, he lived with humility and simplicity.
