📖 Explanation of the 15th Day of Ramadan Supplication from the Perspective of Mahdism

The supplication for the 15th day of Ramadan contains profound concepts that can be examined in the context of Mahdism. This supplication consists of three significant requests, each of which is directly related to preparing for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ).

1️⃣ The Obedience of the Humble: A Trait of Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) Companions

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيهِ طَاعَةَ الْخَاشِعِينَ
(O Allah! Grant me, on this day, the obedience of the humble.)

🔹 In Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) global government, his true companions are those who are humble, obedient, and fully submitted to Allah’s command. The Holy Qur’an states:

﴿وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾
📖 "Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you." (Surah An-Nisa: 59)

🔹 Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said:
«إنّ لصاحب هذا الأمر غَیبَةً فَلیَتَّقِ اللهَ عَبدٌ، وَلْیَتمَسَّک بِدینِه.»
📚 "The master of this affair (Imam Mahdi) will have a period of occultation. So, let the servant of Allah be mindful of his duty to Allah and hold firmly to his religion." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 135 / Ghaybat al-Nu‘mani)

✅ True Awaiters (Muntadhirun) must possess humility and obedience, for only those who are truly submissive to divine command can stand by Imam Mahdi (AJ) at the time of his reappearance.

2️⃣ Sincere Repentance: A Condition for Accepting the Rule of Imam Mahdi (AJ)

وَاشْرَحْ فِيهِ صَدْرِي بِإِنَابَةِ الْمُخْبِتِينَ
(Open my heart with the repentance of the devout.)

🔹 "Inabah" (repentance) means a sincere return to Allah. During the time of Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) reappearance, only those with purified and receptive hearts will be able to embrace the truth. The Qur’an states:

﴿وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ﴾
📖 "And return in repentance to your Lord and submit to Him." (Surah Az-Zumar: 54)

🔹 Imam al-Jawad (AS) said:
«أفضلُ أعمالِ شِیعَتِنا انتظارُ الفَرَجِ.»
📚 "The best deed of our followers is to await the reappearance." (Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 110)

✅ Only those who cleanse their hearts from sin and sincerely repent can be among the true Awaiters and be prepared to embrace truth and justice upon Imam Mahdi’s (AJ) return.

3️⃣ Safety Amidst the Fears and Trials of the End Times

بِأَمَانِكَ يَا أَمَانَ الْخَائِفِينَ
(Place me in Your security, O Source of safety for the fearful!)

🔹 During the period of occultation, believers face severe trials and tribulations. Only those who seek refuge in Allah will be protected from the dangers of the End Times. The Qur’an promises:

﴿وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ﴾
📖 "Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth." (Surah An-Nur: 55)

🔹 Imam Ali (AS):
«اُبْتُلِيَ النَّاسُ بِهَا فِتْنَةً»
📚 "People will be tested through worldly tribulations." (Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 63)

✅ Only those who trust in Allah and remain steadfast on the path of truth will be granted security during the trials of the End Times.

🔹 Obedience to Allah and His chosen leaders → A prerequisite for supporting Imam Mahdi (AJ).
🔹 Repentance and returning to Allah → A requirement for readiness to accept his rule.

📿 اللهم عجل لوليك الفرج، واجعلنا من أنصاره وأعوانه
(O Allah, hasten the reappearance of Your Wali and make us among his supporters and helpers.)
