Let's review the final scene first, then flashback to the beginning of the film. ⏪🎬

1️⃣ The Crisis Between the Two Holy Mosques
The narrations point to discord and factionalism among the rulers between the Two Sanctuaries (Mecca and Medina) over power, leading to the killing of several princes from the ruling family.

· "Among the signs of relief (Al-Faraj) is an event that will occur between the Two Sanctuaries... a factionalism between the Two Sanctuaries, and so-and-so from the descendants of so-and-so will kill fifteen 'rams'." (1)

In Al-Irshad by Al-Sheikh Al-Mufid, it explicitly reports the "killing" of fifteen Arab rulers in the Hijaz "between the Two Mosques" (Al-Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid al-Nabawi) on the order of one individual, eliminating his political opponents. (2)

2️⃣ The "Pure Good" in the Midst of Conflict

Another hadith states that the destruction of the Bani Fulān rule is like shattering pottery. It's like a man walking with an earthenware vessel in hand, inattentive, when it suddenly falls and breaks. He lets out a cry of alarm, but nothing can be done. The collapse of their rule happens exactly like this—in a state of utmost heedlessness and disbelief. (8)

On the surface, everything seems to go the way of that ruling authority. But it's like a bird that escapes from one's hand and never returns. Or like that earthenware or glass vessel that, when it falls, shatters into irreparable pieces. That is how the rule of Saudi Arabia will be—suddenly, incredibly, contrary to all predictions, at the very moment they are immersed in worldly pleasure.
