🛑 The "Faravahar": Ancient Symbol or Modern Deception?
https://jscenter.ir/slave-jews/cyrus/8469

A symbol you see everywhere—on rings, necklaces, T-shirts, even carpets. Many believe it represents Cyrus the Great or Zoroastrianism. But what if everything you've been told about it is wrong?

📌 Here’s the truth:

1. Not Cyrus, Not Zoroaster
The so-called "Faravahar" appears at Persepolis and the Behistun Inscription—both built after Cyrus. It has no direct link to him or to Prophet Zoroaster.
2. Origins in Pagan Cultures
This symbol—more accurately called the "Winged Solar Disk"—originated in ancient pagan civilizations:
· Sumer (as a symbol of a demonic entity)
· Assyria (linked to the god Shamash)
· Ancient Egypt (found on Pharaohs’ coffins)
· Urartu (worshipped as a supernatural being)
3. Adopted & Adapted by the Achaemenids
The Achaemenids combined it with the symbol of Marduk—the Babylonian "calf idol" whom Cyrus praised in his famous cylinder. It was never originally "Iranian."
4. No Zoroastrian Historical Usage
Throughout the Sassanid era—the peak of Zoroastrian rule—this symbol was nowhere to be found in religious art or inscriptions.
The link to Zoroastrianism was invented in 1925 by a Zoroastrian writer in India, without any historical basis.
5. Modern Hijacking by Secret Societies
Today, this symbol is prominently used by Freemasons and Satanist groups worldwide. Coincidence?

🔎 Why does it matter?

· It’s a pagan symbol with roots in idolatry, falsely marketed as "Iranian identity."
· It carries negative spiritual energy derived from its idolatrous origins.
· Many Iranians, especially youth, wear it unknowingly, thinking it represents pride when it represents the opposite.

📖 Sources include:

· Sir Percy Sykes, History of Iran
· Encyclopædia Iranica on "Fravashi"
· Academic studies on ancient Mesopotamian iconography

True Iranian identity is rooted in truth—not in symbols borrowed from idol-worshipping civilizations and promoted by hidden hands.
